  1. This organization is so tight-lipped now that it's hard to know who or what position they covet in all honesty. I think standing pat is the most likely of the three, but I see a trade up more likely than a trade back knowing how Beane maneuvers if they covet a player on the board.
  2. 5th-6th Round seems more likely where Hawkins falls to me, but the kid is electric with the ball in his hands. There's a reason he got the nickname "PlayStation".
  3. Yeah, but at that point Marshawn was using people as bowling pins in his Porsche and swiping tip money off of restaurant tables.
  4. With 78th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.... The Minnesota Vikings select.... Brady Christensen.... Offensive Tackle.... BYU Our OL needs work and thankfully this is a deep area in the 2021 draft. Christensen was the one keeping Zach Wilson clean from the blindside so he could be the #2 pick in the draft. Maybe considered undersized by some at only 305lbs, he makes up for it with his use of angles and the punch he gets against the DL'man across from him. He also plays with an attitude and is athletic enough to make a difference at the 2nd level after his initial punch. We think he has potential at OT, but could also slide inside if need be. Either way, we get ourselves a starter with the #78 pick. @MAJBobby and the Panthers are on the clock.
  5. I think we'd have to take him in the 3rd tbh. He can anchor though and does it well from what I've seen. I can't recall ever seeing him get blown up either. He's got really nimble feet for a guy who's 6'4" and 325lbs as well. Fingers crossed we turn a card in with his name on it next week.
  6. Bobby Brown III, Texas A&M. He's the guy I want in the 3rd-5th Round somewhere and he too is a 1-Tech who can push the pocket as well.
  7. I must admit I'm really leery of Alabama DT's. Barmore is a solid prospect and can play both the 1-Tech and the 3-Tech, but in the NFL I think he would achieve the most success as a 3-Tech or a 5-Tech. He reminds me of Stephon Tuitt who played for Notre Dame about 7-8 years ago and is now a solid player on that Steelers DL.
  8. McGrone was given to the Lions
  9. Right now he's between that #10 and #21 range if we are talking long term. If the light switch completely comes on and the young man starts living up to his potential then it could end up being more. He'll definitely want more $$$ than Milano. Even with the hefty price tag I think the Bills pick up the 5th year option and go from there.
  10. Agreed. A team like Washington or Chicago may be willing to cough up some serious draft capital if a QB they want is there. This is the Dolphins doing what they should, at least entertaining the thought and seeing what they can get in return.
  11. This would be stupid. Taking another 3-Tech in the 1st Round two years after Oliver? But if they are there and considered the team's BPA, what do you do? I'd hate it. Barmore wouldn't be too terrible, but Onwuzurike? Yeah, nah.
  12. That CJ Mosley contract should be chalked up to blatant Jets stupidity and not seriously considered.
  13. Vernon Gholston without the same college production. Easy pass for me. If we take a Penn St. DE I would rather it be Shaka Toney in the 2nd.
  14. Ed O was being played out of position, a lot. He didn't play terrible at the 1 Tech, but he's a disruptive 3-Tech. It was the main cause of him not being what we expected. This year will be different, but it is time for him to bust loose. Harrison Phillips was coming off of injury, but you saw him start to regain some of that pre-injury form as the season went along. The Baltimore game was likely his best all season. At this point though I see him as easily replaceable. Depending on how our draft goes he may not even make the team. Rooting for him to have a strong offseason and play well this year. Tremaine Edmunds' shoulder injury hampered him for most of the year. It's hard to play defense, shed blocks, and make tackles with one arm. At the same time it doesn't excuse his mental lapses and bad angles. I'd imagine we will pick up the 5th year option on him, but it all has to start clicking on the field or he's a 1 contract guy in Buffalo. Epenesa was a rookie who cut like 20lbs in the offseason and had no offseason program. No Mini Camp, no normal Preseason, and no Preseason games. He had to learn the NFL game and it's speed on the fly. You saw flashes, but the combination of everything clearly impacted his output. I expect a nice step forward this year because he showed some flashes.
  15. I know this is a bit off topic, but more of a random thought now that you mention his name. How much does it look like Dean Pees was just tired of being the DC under Vrabel so he "retired" for one year, but then comes back as DC for his buddy Arthur Smith who gets the HC gig in Atlanta? Really solid draft for the Falcons by the way Gunner.
  16. Good for him. He has nothing left to prove to himself or anyone else. Hopefully he can now walk away with that peace of knowing it is the right decision and enjoy the rest of his life.
  17. The "Golden Boy" has been the first for a lot of things.
  18. I think Brady gets it again. One last hurrah.
  19. Emergency Quarantine QB
  20. @NewEra can you confirm or deny? Enquiring cynics want to know.
  21. You almost made me channel my inner DC Tom If you think Harris runs a 4.65 or 4.7 then Moss must run a 4.9/4.95 right. It's easy to see he's faster than you, for whatever personal reasons, want to admit.
  22. He's just as fast as Henry, if not faster, and Henry ran a 4.54 forty. No way in Hades he's as slow as you try to make him out to be.
