This just keeps getting worse and worse for Watson imo. After sitting on the stand talking about how he wasn't trying to get anything out of the women because he "had a girlfriend", now his lawyer drops this gem. This sexual predator should never take another snap in the NFL, but I hope they give him at least a 2 year ban. The Browns have to be the dumbest organization in all of professional sports.

Austin is nothing more than a TC body at this point. He's not being brought in to take anyone's job. Now, if he can somehow shine bright in the return game, he may end up being able to crack the roster. I highly doubt that happens though. I think it's safe to say that Diggs, Davis, Crowder, Shakir, and McKenzie are locks. That leaves Kumerow, Hodgins, Gentry, Stevenson, Austin, Pau'u, and Malik Williams all battling for what likely will be 2 spots. Last year we had 8 WR's on the roster, but one was IR'd. Kumerow has ST value and has been here for a couple of years now so he likely has a leg up on the rest already for one. We'll see how it shakes out in TC.

Poll: Does Ryan Fitzpatrick Belong on the Bills Wall of Fame?
H2o replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
I liked Fitz, and Fitz was an easy guy to root for, but there is a reason his stint was short here. He was an awesome personality and teammate wherever he's been, but a Bills WOF'er he is not. -

Absolutely, the main difference is between a random cycle and steady abuse. I've seen people get addicted to it pretty much. It seems more mental with them than anything else. They don't really lose any size at all, but their max's may drop a bit. Then you talk to them and they act like the world is coming to an end. I know my co-worker was taking too much and that's what caught up with him. About the HS kids? You'd be surprised the pressure some of them feel because of their living situations. I live in a small city called Hopewell, VA. Hopewell has produced two NFL caliber players the last few years. For a city as small as ours, that's amazing to me. Darrell Taylor, a 2nd Round pick of the Seahawks in 2020, and soon to be NFL RB TreVeyon Henderson. There are a lot of kids in a tough spot here, just like many other places. They see sports as their only way out. Some of them would do just about damn near anything if they thought it would help them get there. All you can do is try to help guide them in the right direction. Like you said, diet and putting in the work naturally (with proper form) will take them where they are trying to get to physically.

Kromer likes OL'men that can move. That's what we got. Break out the beach chairs!!! Can't wait for TC to get here.

If your starting QB is letting the Twitterverse affect him before TC even gets rolling, then this ought to be gold once the regular season starts. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/06/02/tua-tagovailoa-twitter-warriors-and-keyboard-warriors-criticizing-me-arent-at-practice/

My disdain for PFF has been known on this board for years. They manufacture metrics based off of their own skewed views about players. They downgrade or upgrade because of their own personal opinions. They will also beat that dead horse into the ground to push that skewed view until it becomes an impossible narrative to maintain any longer. The real kicker for me personally though? I watched a video they put together after the draft in 2018 (pretty sure it was 2018, but could have been 2019) where they were doing a breakdown of many of the teams' draft picks. The two clowns in the video had the audacity to claim "you can tell which teams FO's were going by our PFF Draft Guide by their selections" because it was supposed to be some kind of draft bible in the hands of every NFL GM. They're idiots.

You can find anything at the gym and I had multiple friends and knew people in general who used roids. You could always spot them a mile away from their attitude, to the fact their backs were broken out like a 15 year old, their muscle structure, and the excessively protruding veins. One of the guys worked with me at the chemical plant. He had a massive heart attack at 26-27 years old and the doctors told him it was directly related to his usage because he had no other health defects. You also see an increased injury risk because your tendons become more stiff. The body in turn pushing weight it has not naturally been trained to handle puts you at risk of ruptures. The increased stress put on one's body, because the roids make them feel like Superman, will speed up the aging process. High school kids can also stunt their growth if they start messing with this stuff early. The levels of testosterone actually signal the body to stop bone growth when it is overproduced due to usage. A cycle here or there over an extended period of years, after one has stopped natural growth, may not be that bad as a whole. But becoming reliant upon them will have damaging long term effects and could cost you your life.

She wasn't afraid of anything. She said that his smug attitude acting like he's done nothing wrong is what pushed her to come forward also. She also has some pretty damning testimony as well if they can somehow trace the $$$ she says was paid to the owner of the business to send women his way. She's also going for the minimum compensation. If it were, say, 3-5 women I could see it being a $$$ grab. But 23 and talk of a 24th? This guy is a sleazy sexual predator who thought his fame and $$$ would never allow him to be caught. I hope he never takes another snap in the NFL and justice is served for these women, financially or whatever.

Oh, I fully believe it's more than just a "public perception" at this point my friend. This guy is a complete scumbag who still acts like he did no wrong. He admits one of the defendants was crying at the end of the session just as she said in her statement, while on the stand and under oath, but then claims he didn't know why she was crying. Give me a break. The Grand Jury may have not seen enough so called "evidence" to run with the criminal charges, but this deranged sexual predator will still have his day in court. I hope he never plays another down and they take him for all he's worth.

Seems like Lamar Jackson isn't pleased with the Ravens tonight
H2o replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, you saw the injuries catch up with him last year and it could happen again. Vick had to evolve as a QB as well when he was in the league. If Jackson does not then it will catch up to him sooner or later. -

Or, he could end up getting over on everyone like Kirk Cousins. At the end if 2023 Cousins will have made just under $232M. If Lamar's scenario plays out like Cousins' then he'll make twice that because of the QB market now days in general. -
Ahhhhh, gotcha. I guess I've never paid attention to much this poster has ever said.

You make it a point to talk about how this team has upgraded, that team has upgraded, and this one has too. "Oooohhh, they're all so close to us now." 😬 All the while you are acting completely oblivious to what the Bills have done this offseason. Let's break that down real quick. So the team that has basically been on the brink of the SB the last two years, the team with a Top 3 NFL QB, and talent across the board did what you ask? FA: We brought in Saffold. Surely an upgrade over Feliciano. We retained Bates. That was key. We brought McKenzie back. A nice little Swiss Army Knife player. We signed Jamison Crowder, who is one of the better and more underrated Slot WR's in the league. We signed Duke Johnson to add to the RB group. We signed DaQuan Jones. An upgrade over Star. We signed Tim Settle. Ton of potential on the interior DL. We brought Jordan Phillips back. Best years of his career were in this defense. We brought Shaq Lawson back. Best years of his career were in this defense. We signed this guy named Von Miller too. Maybe you've heard of him? Draft: (only highlighting the guys I really like) We drafted Kaiir Elam in the 1st. Elam fits the defense well and has athleticism that Levi could only dream of. We drafted James Cook to add to the backfield. Cook can run the ball, he can catch passes out of the backfield, he can line up out wide. We drafted Khalil Shakir to add to the WR group. Shakir also has value as a returner and will be groomed for that Slot WR position. We drafted a Punter who can flip field position completely on every 4th down snap, though they may be few and far between. So you talk about what everyone else has done to move closer, but we made quite a few moves to further separate us from the pack in the AFCE and put us closer to hoisting that Lombardi overall.

Hill is just talking up his new QB. He went from Pat Mahomes to the left handed Chad Pennington. Tua never had "crazy" arm strength, he was adequate. The hip injury seems to have affected how he drives the ball because he hasn't been the same since. Tua is a quality, high character young man, but an elite QB he will never be. He won't be asked to sling the ball like Allen has either, especially in that McDaniel/Shanahan style of offense. He'll be used like Jimmy G was in San Fran. I expect a lot of underthrown passes on deep routes and for him to be solid in the short to intermediate ones. One of the best things that happened to us in recent years was Miami passing on Herbert for Tua. Can you imagine Herbert out there with Waddle, Hill, Gesicki, and Williams to throw the ball to? Miami doesn't scare me, even though they are the next best team behind us in the division. This is the year Tua has to take a step forward though because Miami has two 1st's in the 2023 draft and will certainly look to move for a QB if he doesn't do so. There is just too much talent around him on offense.
