Does Gregory Rousseau need "redshirt" year?
H2o replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Simply put, no. He needs to be out there getting used to the speed of the NFL and learning the game. I have full confidence in our coaching staff to get him prepared and he will be out there when they feel he's ready. I do feel that Basham will make the more immediate impact, but Rousseau's athletic profile is something for Bills fans to be excited about. Just watch the Cover 1 breakdown of his game. -

Will we get Friday 5/14 Rookie Mini-camp Reports?

Maybe we'll get some new footage of McDermott clapping? -
Home field advantage will be a legit thing again, especially in Buffalo.

I root for all former Notre Dame players to be successful in the league. Fitz is an easy guy to root for as well. As far as another team's success goes? When I was a kid I used to root for the Eagles on the side because I liked Randall Cunningham a lot and that defense led by Reggie White. Once that team was dismantled I didn't have any others outside of Buffalo.

Definitely not too high on Daniel Jones, but I think he can be a serviceable Brad Johnson type of QB. That defense in NY was starting to click by the end of the season as well. Having Saquon back will be huge. Things will also open up more so on offense with Golladay and Toney. I think they will be tough. Dallas does seem to "Dallas" themselves a lot, but I like the pieces they have. If Elliott can return to pre-big contract form then they could make some noise. Washington is definitely the front runner because of that defensive front. Young, Sweat, Allen, and Payne all get after it. Two other moves I liked were the signing of Curtis Samuel and Adam Humphries. Then in the draft they go get Dyami Brown, Shaka Toney, and Benjamin St-Juste. Rivera is doing an excellent job thus far in DC imo.

Idk about that. The Giants got better this offseason, as did the Cowboys imo. NY has Saquon coming back and Dallas has Dak returning. Both offenses should be better. NY also signed Golladay in FA and drafted Kadarius Toney. Dallas got Micah Parsons, Jabril Cox, and Kelvin Joseph for that defense. Philly is a question mark with Hurts as the full-time starter and a new coaching staff, but they did get DeVonta Smith. I think it will be a tight race again, but with the team battling for the division being somewhere around 9-8 or 10-7 this time versus a sub .500 record last year.

Are we becoming to Miami what New England was to us??
H2o replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Patriots were whoopin' our *sses and winning SB's. Let's get a Lombardi and then we can start down these roads. -
Agreed. Miami got better this offseason, but it will come down to Tua. Washington has a nasty friggin defense, but we'll have to see which version of Fitz they signed. We do know from experience though that Fitz always seems to play well against us. Still, that Washington defense makes me a bit nervous for Josh.

Urban just can’t quit Tebow! (Update - Cut by Jags)

I don't know why some people are so up in arms over this. He may not make it out of the preseason on the roster. They are allowed to have 90 players going into it, right? How many guys do a lot of teams have on their roster right now that we all pretty much know are not going to make it? He was a good athlete, though now a bit long in the tooth at 33. Even still, his body hasn't taken the punishment of a typical 33 year old football player. Who knows, he may surprise some people. Or he may not. Either way, who actually cares? -
Nah, it was the only picture I could find that matched what I had/have.

Yes, but a little more snug and the zipper has been broken for about 15 years.

This is the one I wore in high school and I still have it.

Cover 1 breakdown on Gregory Rousseau
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is my thought as well. I know some people weren't as high on Basham, but I really like what he brings to this defense. I wouldn't be surprised if he immediately makes Addison just a rotational player. I think Rousseau was more of a project pick, but both were made planning for the future of life without Hughes/Addison come 2022. I think the three of Epenesa/Basham/Rousseau will make for a nice rotation up front at DE moving forward. -
I give this thread a 6.9

I think it was Schlereth on one of those ESPN shows who talked about run blocking being a mindset. One that is developed in TC and worked on throughout the preseason. He said it's not just something that your team just picks up and decides to do. I believe pass blocking is more read and react where you pay attention to the OL calls then read your keys to pick up the right guys.
