Yeah, well Ted Thompson isn't calling the shots anymore on those picks and we see how the FO has been going about things since 2018.

Yeah, nah, nah, I'm good now. I don't need the corn starch. This stance increases air flow.

Falcons trading Julio Jones to Titans
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Titans were already a good team. We'll have to see how the defense pans out, but they have the makings of being a REALLY good team now. Derrick Henry, AJ Brown, Julio Jones, and the serviceable Ryan Tannehill aren't anything to take lightly. Teams also won't be able to just key on the running game either. -
Dion Dawkins is latest to rave about Bills DE A.J. Epenesa
H2o replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just said he was toast because that's what some people on the board were saying after the 2nd day of the draft. That he was now "on the roster bubble" and whatnot. I expect him to take a big step forward this year with a full offseason. -

Is there another hurdle JA needs to hop over?

Oh, yeah, his combined total of 300 yards passing in those two games and his 13-12/14-7 victories against Marcus Mariota were totally outstanding performances. Tannehill and the Titans whooped Josh's a** and took his lunch money last year. -

I want to see Josh beat those teams that have been kryptonite to him. The Chiefs and the Titans. Both of those games are on the road, as well as back to back again this year. With his game, I want to see him utilize the check down so he doesn't get hit like others mentioned. Sometimes it's ok to take a 4 yard dump-off versus taking an unnecessary shot. 17 games is a lot of football and we need him healthy. -

What was the most impressive drive of the 2020 Season?
H2o replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There were many impressive drives by the offense last year. This one against the Broncos stands out as well because of how the offense overcame penalties that kept pushing them back and nullified TD's. The lone Kumerow TD reception, on an absolute dime of a throw, drive. -
Maybe they'd sell "Proper No 12" to help the fans cope?

Yeah, his instincts are not "other worldly" as put by the writer. He obviously hasn't seen him take bad angles, not even see the RB going right past him, and continually getting caught up in the wash. Hopefully he takes a giant leap this year, but I've been saying that for the last two.

It's time. You could see him fading over the last few years. There is no way in Hades Coach K from the early 2000's doesn't get a banner with Zion, Barrett, Reddish, and Jones. I think the consensus right now is that Scheyer will be taking the reigns.

This. Dak is a solid, upper half of the league QB and you can surely win with him. He'll put up some gaudy numbers at times. The three things I always hear from Cowboys fans about Dak though are his deep ball inconsistencies, missing wide open receivers with off target passes too often, and the fact that he really doesn't come up big in clutch moments. If they have that ground game going to compliment his solid play otherwise then they are a top tier offense. Josh though? Josh is on a whole other level than Dak. We just started to truly see that in 2020 and the arrow is trending upward.
