Even though we all laugh at this, though we probably shouldn't, how Jetsy of a scenario is this? A guy they are counting on to contribute at WR drops 20lbs in the offseason from getting some bad salmon at the local bodega. -
Dang it, I thought we were starting up the Haiku thread early.

Joy, as in Joy TAYLOR, sister of Jason Taylor formerly of the Dolphins? She might have a bit of bias against the Bills in general I would think. Agree on Cowturd though. He's the one who made the bet with that screeching bum Nick Wright, and won of course, because he was coming around to Allen being legit.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31997471/source-new-england-patriots-te-hunter-henry-expected-miss-multiple-weeks-shoulder-injury Word is that they only expect Henry to be out a couple of weeks and that it's nothing serious. Hoodie could be playing this close to the vest though. -

How much to play Allen and the starters in the preseason?
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I say let them get a couple of series in the first two games just to get some burn at real game speed. After that let them play the entire 1st quarter of the 3rd game. In total it will be about two quarters worth of action just to get everyone ready to go. There are some real battles along the trenches on both sides of the ball that need to be sorted out in the preseason, as well as the WR/CB depth chart behind the guys we know are going to be here. They need the most work. -
How many people don't like Allen's new deal?
H2o replied to mjd1001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The price tag was only going to continue to go up, especially at the QB position. In the long run this will be a discount. We have a bonafide Franchise QB who will cement himself as an NFL superstar this year with another great season. This was the right deal, at the right time, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.- 126 replies

I think the next man up is Diggs. I think they tack 2 years on his deal so he is here until 32, through the entirety of his prime, and give him a nice amount of guaranteed $$$. Diggs, like Allen, just wants to win. I expect Diggs to be in top 3 $$$, but when we look at the deal as a whole I believe it will still be team friendly overall.

Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028
H2o replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is HUGE for us. HUGE. Allen seems to have given us a discount which will help allow the team some flexibility in the long run. JA17 is here to stay. All love for our Franchise QB and this organization getting it done. -
Addison & Butler: just how much do their contracts matter?
H2o replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Addison and Butler aren't viewed as better than the other guys then they will be traded or released outright. Beane has shown that he is not afraid to do that in his time here. It's part of the business and his business is about fielding the best team that gives us a chance to win. The cap hits are already accounted for and we have $9M+ in space at the moment. There is minimal impact to the 2022 cap if that is the way they decide to go as well. No roster spot is guaranteed for either player. -

I'll be excited as hell at kickoff because it's football and then turn it off by halftime because I'll remember how dreadful the preseason can be at times. -
Matt Barkley signs with Titans (update - Released)

How do you have time to contribute to the board? Shouldn't you be planning the Catalina Wine Mixer? -

Good for Barkley. Glad he gets another gig holding the clipboard. Easy money. On Kizer, I told everyone it was a mistake when he left ND. He has a great arm, but had trouble with going through his progressions and only focused on half of the field. That would be the half where his first read was. Brian Kelly even tried to convince him to stay, but he opted to chase the $$$. His career has gone about exactly as I would have expected. -
See, the lowest valued franchise in the NFL. This is why Terry wants you to foot the bill on his new stadium.

Does anyone know what 2021 Practice Squad rules are?
H2o replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In-trep-id (noun) A former car from Dodge line of vehicles, which is no longer manufactured and was ranked dead last in reliability, known for various engine and transmission problems. -
Batting .300, not too bad I guess. Would be an All-Star in MLB. Now for 2021: BILLS 1. AJ Epenesa will lead the team in sacks in the 10-12 range. 2. Both of our rookie DE's will have 5 sacks or more. 3. Marquez Stevenson will have 3 kick/punt return TD's total for the year. 4. Breida will have the most combined yards and TD's out of any of our RB's 5. Josh wins not only League MVP, but SB MVP NFL 1. The Texans will be the worst team in the NFL this year, possibly the first to go 0-17 2. Despite all of the FA spending the Pats finish below .500 again 3. The Ravens will finish 3rd in the AFC North and miss the Playoffs 4. Kyle Pitts will win OROY 5. Fitz will lead the WFT to the NFC Championship game

The 25 year search for "the guy" has ended. It was painful beyond measure and the main reason for our extended playoff drought. We had some really good defenses in that time, but never the right guy at the helm to bring the offense together. Now we have that and not only is he good, he's on the verge of being absolutely great. For Kumerow to say this, and comments by guys like Sanders, means it is absolutely legit. Kumerow played with a future HOF'er, 3 time MVP, and SB winning QB in Aaron Rodgers. Sanders has played with Manning, Brees, and Roethlisberger. These guys haven't been playing with 2nd tier QB's over the years.
