  1. But, but, I thought we were supposed to be cutting Basham and trying to sneak him through waivers onto the PS?
  2. I know it's unbillievable, amirite?
  3. I understand this and it's hard to argue. One thing I will point out though is a majority of those deep passes are going to Tyreke Hill who adjusts his route to the ball in the air as good as, if not better than, any WR in the NFL imo. Mahomes doesn't have to be pinpoint every time because Hill either turns on an extra gear or cuts his route and runs to the ball faster than the man covering him can.
  4. Sucks for Etienne. I know he had numerous TSW fanboys. Looks like Lawrence's comfort level just took another shot.
  5. Yeah, you're right. Edge to the 90's OL. I think where I got accustomed to the putrid OL's we've seen it makes me see this one in a more favorable light.
  6. Elite QB? Check Elite WR? Check WR depth? Check RB's? 90's all day TE? Edge 90's OL? I think they're about even, outside of us not having a Kent Hull DL? We have no Bruce or Biscuit, but I like our group. Edge 90's LB's? Check CB's? Our CB depth on those 90's teams was better than ours now S's? I'd take Poyer and Hyde K? Absolutely check. Bass-o-matic ST? Hard to say If Rousseau does in the Regular Season what he's doing right now? Man, everything will look better. LB's, Secondary, it will open up more opportunities for TO's if QB's are having to rush throws. It will also force some sacks Hughes' way as well because of the pressure from the other side. Epenesa looks better. Hopefully Addison has a stronger campaign than last year. Oliver seems to be getting after it. We've all heard the reports about Star. We could really be there in the end hoisting the Lombardi. Right now I'd liken us to the Peyton Manning led Colts who had to get past the Patriots. The Chiefs are in that Patriots role now days. Still, this team feels different than those 90's teams. They are a closer knit group imo and I really feel like we will finally get it done, bring one home to Buffalo.
  7. Bobby Hart........ Safe again.
  8. Good luck to him elsewhere, but this is the lasting image I have in my mind whenever I think of Duke Williams. The drop in the Playoffs against the Texans just before halftime. And YES, it was definitely a drop. Put the video on play at .25 speed at around the 6:17 mark into the video and you'll see that Conley had absolutely nothing to do with Duke not coming down with that catch.
  9. I'd send Fromm to Atlanta for a new parka and a bag of Jack Link's Beef Jerky.
  10. What do you expect when these guys are running the show in Vegas?
  11. 👆 What I said on 4/30/21. I put a Justin Timberlake meme up right after, but I would hardly call myself a real "critic" of the Rousseau pick. I never bashed the guy.
  12. Got me. I read the first part and was like I hate you
  13. The JOK thing burns me up a bit, but I am also a known Notre Dame homer. I haven't been that high on an ND defensive player coming into the draft since Stephon Tuitt. I think he would have been outstanding in this defense playing LB, but I wasn't mad at us taking Basham. I think he will turn into at least the type of player Shaq Lawson was for us.
  14. McDermott is obviously the HC and leader of men on this team. He and Beane also have a great relationship and work well in tandem with one another. Daboll is a great OC to have in our stable, but the contingency is already in place for when he leaves with the added responsibility given to Dorsey. Dorsey will step right into the OC position when Daboll finally gets his shot. Also, at that point, Josh will have been in the same offense for at least 4 years. The mental mastery for the concepts we run will be there and he will be working hand in hand with the OC to coordinate what we see on the field. McDermott isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
  15. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬....😟
  16. It's possible, but it's also the preseason where many of a team's starting unit isn't on the field. I put yesterday's performance more on Trubisky. You know he was hype and super dialed in all week long for his shot at Chicago. He went out and executed. Mitch was not a "garbage QB" in his time there. Two trips to the playoffs and was a double-doink away from leading a comeback victory against the defending SB champs. He just didn't match up the return with what they shelled out for him. Then combine that with how they passed on some other QB's they shouldn't have to take him, Nagy/Pace doing whatever they possibly can trying to save their jobs, and here we are.
  17. The one that concerns me the most is Harry. He's looked good when on the field and we need him this year. The previously torn ACL makes me nervous until we get an actual report from the team.
  18. I hope Trubisky doesn't have to play meaningful snaps this year because that means Josh is hurt. But if for some reason he does, then we can have to Frank Reich comparisons as to whom was the better backup. Right now that's all Trubisky is, is a backup.
  19. Fields gives them the best chance to win behind that OL. He will be running for his life.....a lot. At least he will have some exciting moments. I think Nagy and Pace are both gone after this season. I also think Chicago is where Bienemy actually gets his first crack at a HC gig as well.
  20. He's solid depth and showed decent in the games he got defensive snaps last year. He's not on Edmunds level though. He's a player with quite a bit of experience seeing a lot of snaps in the preseason, against lesser competition than he would face during the regular season. Glad to have him, but he's nothing spectacular.
  21. Mama, there's that man. Stevenson with the house call
