Just wait. After another 4 losses in a row?
-
Seriously though, this is the type of defense we were missing last year. This team is scary when the offense is doing what they do and the defense is clicking like this.

Yesterday's OL was by far the best combo we have put together yet results wise. I'm good with leaving Boettger in there over Feliciano as well. It will be imperative to keep Josh as clean as possible and churn out some yards in the run game this week for balance against KC.

I rather enjoyed when the guys in the studio were calling the game. The two broadcasters were meh. -
Superb Josh Allen analysis by J. T. O'Sullivan

Two takeaways from this video. First, Josh is like superhuman good when he's dialed in from the start. Pretty much unstoppable. Second, Cody Ford is bad. Like PS, last resort in a dire situation level bad. -

PFF grades Milano as league's best linebacker so far

And he's a just rookie. The boy is gonna be a stud in this league for years to come. -
But, but, but, 0 TD's. It's like using the the hot girl's friends in attempt to get close to her.

Josh is not the athlete Lamar is and Lamar is nowhere near the passer Josh is. We've also had more success as a team overall being led by Josh than Baltimore has had with Lamar. Josh has accounted for more TD's and turned into the better overall player at this point, regardless of whether Jackson won an MVP or not. Josh's numbers last year were better than Lamar's MVP season. Personally I don't care what Baltimore throws at him. Like most are saying, the more the better because it takes away from their cap. Bucky has been negative about Josh for a long time so I just chalk up whatever he says to the circus clown being back in town.

A Few Thoughts about Washington Game, in no particular order
H2o replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said before the game in a thread last week that Sanders would have his best game of the year thus far and that Knox would have a handful of catches with a TD. Check and check. The OL was good enough, the RB's did enough to keep them off balance, and Josh handled business. This is a scary team when we are clicking on offense and defense. -
Until they actually fix the OL and get some weapons around him it will be an exercise in futility no matter who the QB is for the Jets. Look at Darnold in Carolina right now. I don't blame Wilson but so much at this point. If they don't at least get the OL fixed then he won't last the season.

Brissett has thrown 49 passes, completing 32, for a whopping total of 215 yards.

Seeing the Chiefs lose again brings me joy. They have quickly taken that little space in my heart reserved for absolute hatred of the Patriots for so long. It feels good.

I'm handing out game balls to all of the fairweather Allen fans speaking of his demise after a shaky two weeks to start the year behind a shaky OL. Deflate just enough to fit into your pie holes, then shove it back until the gag reflex kicks in.

Scouting The Washington Football Team
H2o replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I have seen from Heinicke having seen him a little in college @ ODU here in VA, last year against Tampa in the playoffs, and last week? The kid is just a baller. He's going to make some plays. He's got a bit of mobility so there will be some improvisation. Gibson is a solid RB as well. They have some solid receiving options. All this being noted, our defense has not been the problem the first two weeks. We need the offense to start clicking. That DL worries me, especially Chase Young. That whole front four really because our OL hasn't looked up to par yet. I do like our receiver matchups though. They have no one that can guard Diggs or Beasley. I also think we see Sanders have his best game thus far and Knox gets a handful of catches with a score. Will the OL give Josh time? Will Josh take the quick hitters underneath to keep the chains moving? Will we get enough from the running game to keep the defense honest? These will be the determining factors in the game because I expect our defense to hold them under 20. -
NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 3, 2021

Finally, a game on the 4K box without having to cast it from my phone. -
Plus the PFF guys "swear" they can tell which teams are going by THEIR draft guide when making selections.

Look at Tannehill when he escaped Gase in Miami. Look at Darnold now that he escaped Gase in NY. The Jets are gonna Jets and they have been an exercise in futility since their little run with Rex. But Adam Gase has to be one of the worst HC'ing hires ever made by an organization, and it happened twice. The Jets as a whole just can't seem to get anything right really. They whiff on all the big FA's they chase for their OL and then settle for mediocre. The big names they do sign who could possibly make an impact either end up mailing it in after getting that $$$ or they end up on IR. Curse, voodoo, blatant stupidity, idk, but they're still a dumpster fire over there.

Not really sure how this pertains to what I said when I noted he's gotten no favors from the OL or Daboll. I also said I expect him and our offense to get better as the year rolls along. I closed out by telling the people looking for reasons to jump off of the wagon right now ✌️✌️, as in deuces, or don't let the door hit you, or here let me give you a push, or off, or bye Felicia. I still hold to the thought that Allen is so competitive that he's pushing a bit right now though. That will wear off as the season goes along, as long as the OL does their job.
