  1. John Kerry: "All of these wars are going to make people lose focus on the real problem, climate change. There will be too many emissions from these tanks, helicopters, missiles, and airplanes. Putin needs to think about that first." Putin:
  2. Oh, I'm not claiming he is the most reliable of humans (Rodgers), but there are people close to the situation saying the Pack GM is lying. We'll see how it plays out, but I don't expect Rodgers to ever don a Packers uni again.
  3. After what the GM pulled yesterday, saying he never promised a trade, Rodgers is either getting traded or retiring. He won't play for them again. Smart move by GB would be get what you can to speed up your rebuild, because it's definitely going to be a rebuild.
  4. Everyone thought he was going to Amazon with Al Michaels, but he chose ESPN. Now they say that Amazon may try to go after Sean McVay.
  5. Once they started using Klein the way they should have from the beginning, he turned into a solid player on the defense and had a few outstanding games. Addison though? I was never really excited about that signing.
  6. Probably not too expensive. Decent depth signing.
  7. I think most of us knew this watching every Bills game this year. Various commentators would talk about the "OL is doing a good job protecting Allen" and I would think to myself, "Yeah f*****g right!!! Allen doing his best Houdini in the pocket to escape every time he was about to get hammered."
  8. Ogbah would be a decent get, but it will cost and he's really nothing special. I'd rather keep Obada and sign someone like Al-Quadin Muhammad, who may both likely be had for what it would take to get Ogbah alone $$$ wise.
  9. Kind of like how Stevie Johnson used to have Revis on skates out there.
  10. I thought Ed was supposed to be our 3-Tech and we were looking for a 1-Tech to replace Star? This guy seems to be penciling Ed into that 1-Tech spot.
  11. 1. You've been a fan since During the 1989 season I was 12/13 years old. I kind of liked the Raiders up until that point because my first football memory in general was watching the Raiders beat the Redskins in Super Bowl XVIII. I remember watching Marcus Allen run through their defense on his way to MVP. I also kind of liked the Eagles somewhat because of Randall Cunningham, Reggie White, Jerome Brown, Chris Carter, and Keith Jackson. Randall Cunningham was probably my favorite player at the time. In '89 I saw a couple of the Bills games on TV and was really into the uniforms. I also started to like some of the players such as Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, and Thurman Thomas from seeing them in the highlights on NFL Primetime. I truly became a fan on January 6, 1990 watching the Playoff game against Cleveland which coincides with #2 on this list. 2. Your first Bills memory My first actual Bills memory is of the January 6, 1990 Playoff game against Cleveland. I could just feel it watching the Bills on the field that this was the team that I would claim as my own. I had never rooted for a single team like that before, I always just liked individual players really. That day is when I became a fan. I remember the excitement of watching Thurman and Kelly lead the charge, getting us into position to win with 14 seconds left. I remember raising my arms when Kelly threw that ball to Harmon in the corner of the endzone because there was no one around him. I remember falling face first on my bed when he dropped it. The very next play Clay Matthews makes the INT. Even still, I knew I was a Bills fan from that point on. This is where I actually became a fan. 3. One of your favorite Bills memories Anyone who watched the game against Houston in the Playoffs, the greatest comeback of all time, can pick that one. I watched the entire game and it was still one of the coolest things I ever watched. To me though, seeing all of our guys huddled up in the locker room watching the Ravens vs the Bengals with our Playoff hopes on the line was probably my favorite. Seeing all of the reactions in the locker room at the end (especially Kyle), all of the reactions across social media from Bills fans everywhere, and knowing what my own reaction was watching it live at the house was awesome. Just knowing the drought was over, FINALLY, and we were going back to the Playoffs again for the first time in 17 years was something special. 4. Your favorite player of all time and your favorite player currently Without a doubt, favorite of all time is Bruce Smith. Currently, and possibly may supplant Bruce on that list someday, is JA17. 5. Some of you guys have some awesome forum names. What does your forum name say about you? Stumbled across this board in January of 2006. At the time I found the board had been working on some things, music wise, and a friend of mine started calling me H2o. It just kind of stuck so I used it as my member name.
  12. I knew there was already another thread that had discussed this. My post is in reference to the "bra" you used in yours. It immediately made me think of the movie Weird Science for some reason.
  13. It could also just be a signal he won't be back in GB like Adams and Cobb?
  14. I think, if I'm reading the contract details correctly, that Carolina takes an almost $27M cap hit if they cut or trade him this year. It's not really feasible to move him until 2023 so I don't think he's going anywhere.
  15. Good for them. The spandex circus isn't a necessity anyway. Goodell and the NFL
  16. The premise of this mock draft is if we address all of our needs on offense in FA. Assuming we get some vet OL help, a vet WR, another TE possibly, and a 3rd RB. This would be a draft I would want to see that focuses strictly on the defensive side of the ball. Round 1 - #25. Ahmad Gardner / CB / Cincinnati - Ahmad Gardner went to Cincy as a 3-Star recruit out of Martin Luther King HS in Detroit, Michigan. He arrived weighing just under 160lbs. Started as a TRUE Freshman for the Bearcats and went on to NOT ALLOW A SINGLE TD by opposing receivers in his 3 years of time there. He's also 6'2" and a 190lbs now. He has the speed and fluidity to keep up in Man coverage, but his best fit is in a Zone system where he gets to read/react to the play as it unfolds. Welcome to the Buffalo Bills son. Round 2 - #57. Chad Muma / LB / Wyoming - The Bills go to the Wyoming well again for a possible future Captain of the defense. Edmunds is in a contract year and I honestly believe we get our contingency plan together in 2022. If you have never seen Muma play then go check out some YouTube videos. He's not going to run a sub-4.5 40 at the Combine, but he is smart, takes good angles, has enough athleticism to cover, and he is a sure tackler. He led all of the NCAA this year in solo tackles with 85. I could see him being groomed in 2022 for a starting role in 2023 in this defense. Round 3 - #89. Travis Jones / DT / UConn - Jones is a perfect fit for the 1-Tech in our defense. He stands 6'4", almost 330lbs, and is a stout run defender. He also has some decent lateral agility, the strength to push the pocket, and uses his hands well to create leverage when attempting to push the pocket. We get younger and more talented at the position here. Round 4 - #126. Michael Clemons / DE / Texas A&M - Clemons is not much of a "WOW" type of prospect at the DE position, but he is solid, does some things well, and improved every year. We are not re-signing Hughes or Addison so depth will need to be added. Clemons had 11 TFL's and 7 sacks this past season, though 3.5 of those sacks came against Louisiana State in their 11/27/21 contest. He still showed well enough against Alabama, Arkansas, and Miss St. to be worthy of a 4th. Round 5 - #166. Isaiah Thomas / DE / Oklahoma - DE's in back to back rounds of the draft 2 years in a row? Yep. Isaiah Thomas is another solid prospect at the position. Not a Hutchinson or a Thibodeaux, but a guy who plays the run well and gets after the QB. He only had 7 sacks, but he had 21 hurries this year which means he was around the QB a lot more than you think just looking at the normal stats. Round 6 - #184. Jayden Peevy / DT / Texas A&M - The fourth DL'man in a row? Yep. The 2nd one from Texas A&M? Yep. Peevy is another large, strong human being who can anchor in the middle of this defense. He plays the run well, but doesn't offer much in the way of pass rush. With the possibility of Star, Butler, Addison, Hughes, Phillips, and Obada all being gone this DL is getting a lot of necessary attention in the draft. Round 6 - #203. Decobie Durant / CB / South Carolina St. - Durant is a bit undersized at this point, about 5'11" and 175lbs. An NFL Strength and Conditioning program can take care of that in an offseason. He has athletic ability that can't be taught though. He has some nice short area quickness and fluidity to his game. He also has speed to stay with NFL WR's down the sidelines. The only problem is he can be too aggressive at times making him susceptible to double moves. It's nothing that coaching can't correct and it's a nice get here in the 6th. Round 7 - #228. Zakoby McClain / LB / Auburn - McClain is a developmental backup LB best suited to play the WILL. He has good speed and puts himself in position to make plays, but sometimes does not because of his angles. He is really solid in coverage and can also attack off of the edge showing a decent bend to get around OT's on the blitz. The athleticism is there and I think with some coaching he could be a valuable depth piece to the defense, as well as a good ST's player. Round 7 - #243. Yusuf Corker / S / Kentucky - Corker is a developmental S prospect who can immediately contribute on ST's due to his tackling ability. He will need to be coached up in his technique and coverage skills though. He's a little easy to commit and get turned in coverage, sometimes comes off of his assignment too early allowing the QB to make a play when scanning back to his Zone, and his footwork needs work. Poyer and Hyde are two quality options to learn from.
  17. There was a guy on here who bet $5k or $10k (honestly can't remember the figure, but it was hefty) on the Bills vs Titans in 2020 because it was easy $$$ for the Bills win.
  18. Yeah, Leo does fairly well I would say. https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/a31513/leonardo-dicaprio-miami-club-20-women/#:~:text=No girlfriend%2C no problem.&text=Leonardo DiCaprio spent the past,a nightclub with 20 women.
  19. Funny how they drop this gem in there "News of their breakup comes after Rodgers received backlash concerning his vaccination status in November 2021 when it was made public that he tested positive for the coronavirus." Like seriously, what does this even have to do with a breakup 3 MONTHS LATER? Dumb, just dumb.
  20. I think you posted this in the wrong thread my friend. Probably intended for the Carr one I assume.
  21. I mean.... If Dak is getting $40M per then what makes you think Carr won't get the same?
  22. Williams has versatility. If he agrees to a pay cut then you let him compete for a job, while also being held onto as a quality depth piece in case of injury.
