Difference in O-Line Year over Year
H2o replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
This OL is who we thought it was. The run blocking is better this year, but the pass blocking is still suspect on occasion. Saffold and Brown seem to struggle the most. It needs to be the focus of our off-season. That said, we can still beat any team we come up against. It's all scheme and execution. Take the quick hitters, run the ball with consistency to open up the play-action passing game, and put Josh in position to be successful. -
Obvious block in the back. Just like the obvious block in the back yesterday on Edmunds that allowed Miami to get a 1st down.

One of the dumbest things that needs to be stopped already? Running to the endzone after every turnover. Hey guy, you didn't make it all the way back. Walk to the sidelines

And Cousins still does Cousins things. The Geeeeeeeee-Men!!!!

Yeah, that young man is about to get PAID too

If the Vikes tie and win this game........ That was a shite call by the refs

BS call

Hodgins truly has made the most of his opportunity. I'm happy for the guy. He wouldn't have been seeing the same usage here though. He's in a great spot where he can be featured. Good for him, Dabs, and the G-men

Mental toughness - a very important characteristic
H2o replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Miami's front 7, and their blitz packages, were giving our OL fits. They really do have a good defense. Division games are ways tough because of the familiarity, Regular season or Playoffs. Survive and advance. That we did. This team has shown their fortitude all year long. The one score games tell the story, the way they have handled the various forms of adversity this year, and putting together an 8 game win streak through it all. They are most definitely mentally tough. -
Regardless of the score today, I want to see the Bills on top of their game. No turnovers, Josh taking the easy 5-7 yard checkdowns, a very limited amount of penalties, and a W.

Chris Simms: Dolphins No. 1 Team to watch in Lamar Jackson Sweepstakes
H2o replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think Miami is the AFCE team that makes a run at Lamar. I think it's the Jets. A healthy Breece Hall, Michael Carter, and Zonovan Knight at RB. A solid WR group with Wilson, Davis, Moore, Mims, and Berrios. A TE room with Uzomah and Conklin. A top 5 defense to go with it. Lamar in NY with the Jets makes too much sense. Johnson also already said that he is willing to pay whatever as he sees QB as the missing piece. I'm pretty confident this happens if the Ravens can't get him re-signed. -

27-0, 5 turnovers to none, only muster 3 points in the 2nd half, and lose the game. Absolutely horrendous -

Win the turnover battle 5 to 0 and you lose. -

Staley needs to be fired before the post game interviews -

If the Jags overcome 5 1st half turnovers and come back to win this game, then Staley should be fired before the post game presser. -
He'll be back. He's rich guy who can do whatever he wants basically with no responsibility at this point. It's not like he bought a one way ticket and can't afford to buy a ticket back down the road. I expect him to get a college gig when it's all said and done.

Chargers - Mike Williams and Joey Bosa hurt in meaningless game
H2o replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
In all fairness, even though Williams surely did not need to be out there, this guy has been a walking spinal injury since before he came into the league. The neck injury at Clemson, a back injury coming into the league, and a couple since. He could almost sneeze and end up with an injury designation due to his back or neck at this point. -

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35426004/nfl-wild-card-round-playoff-game-picks-schedule-guide-predictions-odds-injuries-2023#miabuf Let me get this straight. Thompson has thrown for a grand total of 256 yds across two games, with 1 TD and 1 INT, and has been completely ineffective moving the offense down the field. Now, in his first Playoff start and in the hostile environment of OP, he is going to magically become a more than solid starter against one of the best teams in the NFL and a coaching staff that has a penchant for making rookies look lost on the field?............. -
Kyle definitely deserves a spot imo.
