Cap hit is kind of steep, but the cap don't mean to Beane at this point. Swing a 4th and get it done.
-
That division is going to take itself out of the race for the #1 seed.
-
Unless they hit on a couple of WR's in the draft, Rodgers is just collecting checks these next couple of years before hanging up the cleats.
-
They haven't lost anything really outside of Matthieu, but all the rest of the teams in the AFC have surely caught up. The AFC as a whole is absolutely STACKED.

Our defensive line is NEVER going to be tired with the rotation we'll have going on. We are going to EAT opposing QB's this year.
-
You look at what we've done on the interior of this defense. Jones the run stuffing 1-Tech, Settle has some pass rush juice and can play the 1-Tech or 3-Tech, and now we bring back Phillips who got a lot of pressure from the interior as well. Add Von Miller who will HAVE to be accounted for on every play? We are going to EAT opposing QB's this year.

Adios #11. Thanks for signing up to play with 1, 7. Catching passes on the regs, a first down connection....ok, that's all I got.
-
True. I think we like him, but wanted to squeeze one more cheap year out if we possibly could. Whether he is the long term answer or not? I have no idea. We only have a small sample size of him playing meaningful snaps, but he faired well imo all things considered. When I say "screwed" I don't mean it in the terms of we're doomed or anything, only we could lose a nice depth piece with starting potential. I don't think we pay any more for him that $3-3.5M per year. I have a feeling the Vikes will offer him a contract that the Bills will not match.
-
Now THIS is an interesting nugget. We might end up getting screwed.

That would be "Rob Ryan was right!"

After they have completely destroyed any confidence and trust with the QB they drafted #1 overall and currently have on their roster.

Breaking: Von Miller to bills, 6 year , 120 million

The name you will keep hearing from me until the draft is done? Chad Muma from Wyoming. I know it may not be popular with some, but a 2nd Round pick on this guy would be exactly what we need. He's smart, takes proper angles, a sure tackler (led the NCAA in solo tackles), and has the athleticism to cover in this defense. Also, I want us to sign Shaq on the cheap to be the final depth piece to the DL. -
I say we go get Tarik Cohen, Boston Scott, Cordarrelle Patterson, or Duke Johnson to play that receiving back role.

The one thing about this regime that is OUTSTANDING? No leaks. There was not a single word about us going after Von Miller. I mean nothing. Then BOOM💥💥💥 -
I said be patient because we were two hours into FA, moves would be made, and there is a draft to be had. On that note, F*** YEAH!!!!!
-
Without signing McKissic we currently have a little over $8M in cap room. Also the players have to want to come here. Also we aren't in the business of OVERPAYING anymore. We are 2 hours into legit FA and the Nancy's are melting like the 2022 season is already over. More moves will be made. There is a draft yet to be had. For God's sake, pull yourselves together gentlemen (and ladies... possibly).

With a healthy Tre White, we beat the same Chiefs by a score of 38-20 on their home field. I think people are forgetting we were missing our 1st Team All Pro CB and still were a coaching gaffe away from the AFCC.

Welp, there goes Baker's hopes and dreams

Standing pat doing nothing and not doing what a bunch of armchair GM's think is necessary to win the SB are two COMPLETELY different things. Settle is an upgrade with a ton of upside. Jones is a good, run stuffing 1 Tech. We're talking to Akiem Hicks. Saffold has been a quality player for years and is reuniting with his former OL coach here. Beane and McDermott will continue to look for ways to upgrade the roster. They're not standing pat, they're just not doing what you want them to do so the sky in your little bubble is falling.
-
The cap is going to continue to rise. Money is going to present itself. The Chargers haven't won anything. They haven't even MADE the Playoffs. We have with Josh having a middling OL, one star WR, a TE on the rise, sub-par RB's, and a bunch of role players. You doom and gloomers, "the sky is falling" types need to realize that we are the ones NOT going anywhere as long as we have a healthy Josh Allen. Our window is just starting and will be open for the next 8-10 years or better.
