Saw an interview on NFLN with PP and it sounds like he's still chasing $$$. He said he didn't want teams to "disrespect me with your offer." He also listed about 5-7 teams and none of those were the Bills. Idk about Rhodes.

I think Ryan would thrive there, but Atlanta isn't moving him now that they missed out on Watson. Mayfield would be serviceable as well because Indy leans on Jonathan Taylor more than anything. Janeane Garofalo wouldn't be bad either, but you are taking a chance with him coming of shoulder surgery. Mariota? Meh. They have options, but I don't see Ryan being realistic at this point.

He's a nice compliment to AJ Brown and will work out better for them than Julio did.

Yeah, that wouldn't happen. Carolina is going to want more in return for CMC.
-
I would imagine that means Gilmore doesn't go back to Carolina at this point.

Getting the #1 Seed in AFC playoffs is critical now
H2o replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't believe it is critical, but I think it is a big time advantage and absolutely doable at this point. The AFCW is going to be a straight up dog fight. I expect each of those teams will have at least 3 losses from their own division. I also am not worried about the #1 seed coming from the AFCN because they will beat each other up as well. It will be between us and whoever the winner of the AFCS is imo. The AFCS as a whole plays the NFCE and the gauntlet that is the AFCW. Our opponents for 2022 have us positioned to get it done. We should absolutely roll the division. There is no reason we shouldn't be 6-0 in the AFCE. Our divisions we face as a whole are the NFCN and the AFCN. We should roll the NFCN and that would be 4 more wins. No one in the NFCN scares me and makes me think L. That puts us at 10. To gain the #1 seed in the AFC we will need 13-14 wins. That leaves us having to beat 3 or 4 out of KC, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Baltimore, Cleveland, and the LA Rams. You don't think we'll be able to do that? I ABSOLUTELY believe we will get it done. I think the Bills will win at least 14 in 2022 when it's all said and done, get the #1 seed, and then it's finally our time. -
From Dawg Pound to Bills Mafia - Browns Fans Leaving for the Bills

Good for Browns fans, well, the former Browns fans. The wagon is welcome, for you especially, at this point and I don't blame them one bit whatsoever. -

Is Beane and the Pegs going the Kraft route and paying people "under the table" like they did with Tommy Boy all those years?

Not worried about the Browns and not worried about Watson. He's still going to be suspended by the NFL when all of this is over, his Civil cases. I still don't see him as a leader and it's gonna be interesting to watch the "reception" he gets from Cleveland, as well as other NFL fans. Can't wait until he's forced to come to Buffalo. There's no telling what the fans will throw onto the field. -
When I first read this I thought it said, "Teams are going to sh*t on us and run more...." Had to do a double-take. No matter what they do, I think we could have a historically good defense this year if Tre comes back @ 100%. A 2015 Denver type of defense.

Bills sign Marquel Lee (backup/ST linebacker)

Those people: "We need a CB, RB, WR, and they're signing ST's players?!?!?!?!?" -
The most sacks the Bills have had as a team the last 20 years is 48 in 2013 under Mike Pettine. We had some quality players on that front. A young Jerry Hughes, Mario Williams, a young Kyle Williams, and Marcell Darius. Kiko, Bradham, and Lawson were the LB's. In the Secondary we had Jairus Byrd, McKelvin, Robey-Coleman, Gilmore, and Jim Leonhard. It was a stout unit. With all of the offseason additions we've made I know we'll easily surpass the 27 sacks as a team we had last season. Von will probably get us anywhere from 12-15 by himself and I know the rest of the team will surely pickup 13-16 more. Still, I think will have a lot more than that. I honestly see no less than 40 from this team. When I start thinking about who will be lining up, their style of play, how some have performed in this defense during a prior tour, and the Von Miller effect on the rest of the defense around him I find myself getting hype already. Do you think this team can exceed that total from 2013?

I think we keep Edmunds and draft a possible replacement in April to groom behind him this year. This is one of the things when you build a good team through the draft, it's impossible to keep and pay everyone. One thing about next year is that's when all the new TV $$$ will hit and the cap could go up by $20M. If Edmunds plays well then we'll re-sign him, probably before the new league year in 2023. If he doesn't we'll let him walk. That's the chance you take.

Star released. Pre-6/1 per Joe B, $1.5M cap savings.

Pretty sure they can navigate the cap and designate it a post June 1 cut. -

According to Ian Rapoport The Bills are “always the mystery team”
H2o replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said it in the Von Miller thread. The one thing about this regime that I find OUTSTANDING? Absolutely no leaks. There are rumors we're pursuing this person or that person heavily. Then 💥💥💥, we signed someone that no one else really had us linked to. It's the polar opposite of the regimes in charge before this one.
