  1. Not a knock on the prospect by any means, but I would imagine the Pats going somewhere other than TE with both Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry currently on the roster, backed up by two of their own 3rd Round picks in 2020 in Asiasi and Keene.
  2. The Jets are looking to cash in with a proven NFL WR versus taking their chances in the draft it seems. Can't blame them. We pretty much did the same thing in trading for Diggs. It doesn't always work out for the other side like it did with Minnesota drafting Jefferson.
  3. Beane talking to Whaley:
  4. Another top notch move by the Pegula's and this Front Office. Who WOULDN'T want to come to Buffalo at this point?
  5. Or...... End up in the TSW Archives while on a bender, then respond to a thread from two years ago acting like it's happening at the current moment.
  6. And the first day was so promising.
  7. Jahan Dotson and Tariq Woolen.
  8. I don't mind the improvisational runs because they usually lead to big gains or key first downs. The QB Sweep's and Power's though? Yeah, we need to protect our guy.
  9. I wouldn't say we have any "moon-sized craters" on this team. We have Saffold and Bates at G and Spencer Brown at RT. Could we find an upgrade? Possibly, but hardly glaring needs. The #2 CB position, with the uncertainty surrounding Tre's recovery, is likely the biggest need we have remaining. I sure as heck am not for wasting a 1st on Watson though. The guy screams "Workout Warrior" and "Bust" to me. He couldn't even dominate at the FCS level with a top 5 QB in Trey Lance. He's not going to suddenly become a monster in the NFL, against competition that is FAR above what he's previously faced. There have been a bunch of athletes who haven't had their traits translate on the field, at every position. Jameson, Dotson, or Burks I wouldn't be mad. But if we toss a 1st on Christian Watson? That would be stupidity on the level of Whitner over Ngata and Maybin over Orakpo.
  10. Honestly, this is not surprising. A 6'5", 240lb QB with wheels gets the 7th most yards after contact? I'm almost surprised he isn't higher on the list.
  11. Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming This guy would be the QB of the defense we've been waiting for. Smart, athletic, takes good angles, and is as sure a tackler as you will ever see.
  12. I'm telling you all, this guy wouldn't be BPA until the 3rd or 4th Round. Beane and McDermott aren't taking a guy, in the 1st Round especially for God's sake, who only put up three 100 yard games in his ENTIRE COLLEGE CAREER against FCS competition. He's nothing more than a tall kid who's fast in spandex.
  13. Eric Moulds put up better numbers at Miss. St., before all the rules changes, in the SEC than this guy did against FCS competition. Please, don't compare a Bills great to this fool's gold prospect.
  14. Ahhhhh, yes, The good ole "hear me out" always leads to some gems.
  15. Not that high on a guy with only three TOTAL 100 yard games in his entire college career, and that was against FCS competition. He never even sniffed 1,000 yards either. People think he's going to come into the NFL, against the best of the best, then turn into an All Pro? It's laughable.
  16. This guy must not realize that there's actual video evidence, not just heresay now.
  17. I'd take Gilmore back if he wanted to come here on a team friendly deal in hopes of getting another ring. His play hasn't fallen off of a cliff like Norman's had and right now he's better than Levi Wallace was. Having both him and Tre, when Tre is healthy, on the boundaries would be awesome. He could also fill that #1 role in case Tre's recovery drags a few weeks into the season if need be. If this were to happen we would truly be going into the draft with no glaring holes whatsoever.
  18. Short yardage, him and Josh back in an RPO set? That would be interesting.
  19. To whomever the league approves. He's done. You think a bunch of billionaires forking out their money as well are going to take kindly to this shyster's actions? Nope. Stick a fork in him.
  20. Snyder is done after this. The sale may even be completed before the season starts now.
  21. 0 given about Parker to the Pats. He's not going to help them get back into the division race and it takes away from the Phins WR corps. But, maybe Judon can somehow take credit for recruiting this trade and shut up on Twitter now.
  22. Sorry everyone. With the 49th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select, Travis Jones, DT, UConn. With needs all over the place we go for a man to wreak havoc between Cam Jordan and Marcus Davenport. We love the upside he brings in this defensive system. @Logic and the Chiefs are on the clock.
  23. This is a good call. Super athletic kid with a basketball background as well(I think). Made a lot of big plays, but still growing into his frame and an iffy blocker. Watched some highlights a couple days ago. I think he had like 12 or 13 TD's this year.
