I like Pitre as well, but I'm starting to think he doesn't make it until the end of the 2nd. He's 5'11", 198lbs, runs a 4.46, and had a 6.74 3-Cone drill. His position was S, but I know many of the reports say that he can be a CB as well. Still, I believe Hill is the better prospect. Daxton Hill came in at 6', 192lbs, ran a 4.38 40, had a 6.56 3-Cone drill (insane), and a 4.06 20yd shuttle. If they took Hill in the 1st I would have absolutely no problem with that. The guy really could play anywhere in the Secondary.

#1. Brady is still Brady, even at 45 until we see him fall off #2. Rodgers still does everything he did 10 years ago #3. Mahomes I give the slightest of edges to over Allen. That's likely to be a different view after the upcoming season with no Tyreek Hill. #4. Allen, who is still climbing this list and hasn't even reached his full potential yet. #5. Burrow is exactly who they drafted him to be and will continue to grow. #6. Herbert is well on his way also. #7. Lamar Jackson. Despite his inconsistencies, he's still a bigger threat than anyone else below him. #8. Matt Stafford. LA traded for him and they win the SB. His numbers speak for themselves. #9. Deshaun Watson belongs here.

Which players on defense are you moving on from or releasing?

Tre isn't going anywhere unless there is a significant fall off in his play after the knee injury. Milano was our best LB last season, much better and more consistent than Edmunds. Milano won't be getting axed. Von Miller will be here for at least 3 years because of the guaranteed $$$. Hopefully there is at least one, if not multiple Lombardi's that come home in that time. Oliver will at least be here to play out the 5th year option in 2023 if nothing else. We have a bunch of 1 year deals along the DL, Edmunds in his 5th year option, and Poyer in the last year of his deal. The two I think are gone after this year are both Poyer and Edmunds. Poyer because I don't see Beane prioritizing a S over 30 with a big $$$ contract. Edmunds because he will price himself out of what they are willing to pay. If the light switch finally comes on for Edmunds, which I highly doubt, then the Franchise Tag is always an option as well. But Poyer and Edmunds are the most logical and likely players we let walk. -
I think St. Louis and possibly London will get expansion teams. Either that or the Chargers end up in St. Louis and there is no expansion. You can't get the people in LA to legitimately support one team, more or less two.

Let's hope not. Dawson was much improved after the Freshman year. Hopefully there is a Sophomore follow-up.

Am I the only one who hasn't completely given up on Zack Moss?

In the words of Josh Allen: Yes -
McCaffrey is amazingly still only 25 years old, will be 26 in June. Still, he's been ridden like a broke back mule since his Freshman year at Stanford. A lot of tread on the tires for a 25 year old. But, maybe too, the Carolina training staff sucks? Idk. If we did make this move, which I wouldn't mind really, there would have to be an immediate restructuring of that God awful contract they handed him. And, there is no doubt a healthy Christian McCaffrey would be a massive upgrade to our backfield.

Dwayne Haskins killed [Edit: struck by vehicle]

This is terrible. Can't even imagine how his friends, family, and loved ones must be feeling right now. An absolute tragedy. -
No. Can't stand listening to the guy. That lisp is almost Tyson level.

I believe both Oliver and Knox will get extensions. I believe Edmunds will have to earn his on the field this year. They will use the Franchise Tag on him if need be and if his play warrants it. I can't see them giving Singletary $4M-8M. This is Poyer's swan song in a Bills' uni, possibly Hyde's as well. Don't be surprised if we go Safety with one of our picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft.

Thanks @Virgil. These mocks are always a good time on TSW. This one also seemed to move fairly quick. Can't wait for 2.0

With the 101st pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.....the New Orleans Saints select..... Channing Tindall / LB / Georgia Tindall is a true sideline-to-sideline ILB prospect. That Georgia defense was just loaded with talent everywhere. He also isn't relied on to start right away as he can learn the defense and split time with Demario Davis until he's comfortable to take over. Tindall can get caught up in the wash at times and he may bite on a misdirection in the passing game here or there, but you can't teach the sheer athleticism he possesses and his love for hitting people. The flaws can be coached out of his game and we expect him to be a real contributor on defense, as well as (dare I say it with some members' hatred for it? ) Special Teams initially. @Virgil and the Dolphins are on the clock.

McCoy is no lock at the C position either by any means in NO. But I think he (Tom) is athletic enough, has a good punch with his hands, is smart enough, and has the technique to play on the outside. If it doesn't work out there then we fully expect him to be an upgrade elsewhere.

With the 98th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft....the New Orleans Saints select....Zach Tom / T / Wake Forest Tom is a good get here for us in the 3rd Round. He has good football smarts, is super athletic for his size, very good mirroring defenders, and especially excels in Pass Pro. His style of play also fits well into the offense we run. As a 3 year starter at Wake Forest he has also proven to be durable starting 37 games, with 23 of those coming at LT. I know SOME people are saying he's a Center/Interior OL prospect, but we see him as an OL prospect in general with the ability to play multiple positions along the front. He will get a shot at T on this team. @frostbitmic and the Browns are on the clock.

I like Cross a lot. He is a bright young man who is an absolute film junkie and student of the game. He has size, speed, smarts, and the athletic ability you look for in potential starter in your Safety group. They could even get him on the field in some 3 Safety looks and let him strictly cover TE's like Andrews or Slot WR's (4.34 speed). He's got that kind of ability. One of the knocks on him is he is a bit tight in his hips, but he didn't look that way doing the on field drills at the combine. The rest of the things, like breaking on In routes and knowing when to crash down against the run game can be taught with solid coaching.

We took Tre at the bottom of the 1st. That has worked out I would say. If there is one thing I trust McDermott and Beane to get right, it is their evaluation of DB's. Tre White, Taron Johnson, and even getting what they got out of a UDFA in Wallace. Jackson, though not All Pro, did admirable being thrust into the starting lineup when Tre went down. I fully expect us to come out of this draft with a couple of CB's that will contribute. Whether one of those come in the 1st or not, I'll trust they know what they're doing.

Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550

Hopefully his use of "diva" is more sarcasm than anything. Diggs has been anything but while here. -
She's salty that things didn't work out with the Browns and Baker. Then to make matters worse, they trade for a serial predator to be their starting QB. It's tough to be a Browns' fan right now.
