  1. Cousins would have gotten murdered behind our OL. It truly has been a middling group AT BEST since JA has been here. It's not 2019, but they aren't top 10 either. JA's athleticism and escapability have made them look better than they truly are, all the time. Think about how many times he is basically running for his life a second and a half after the snap. Then he makes insane throws on top of it. Kirk has had some real talent around him during his time in Minnesota, more talent than Allen by far imo. I have said this time and time again, no QB has done more with less than Josh Allen.
  2. 1. Kansas City Chiefs - Until they aren't, they are #1 team in the league. 2. San Francisco 49ers - They were so close to the ever-elusive Lombardi for Kyle Shanahan. 3. Detroit Lions - They were on the cusp of the SB last year if it hadn't been for some poor decisions and bad bounces. 4. Houston Texans - Demeco Ryans has his group ready to go. They get Dell back, they added Diggs, and they added Joe Mixon. 5. Cincinnati Bengals - A healthy Burrow and they are right back in the mix again. Gesicki should do well, they got OL help, and they got DL help. 6. Buffalo Bills - A lot of ?'s in the Secondary, WR group, and the OL with McGovern being moved to C. A revamped interior D-Line. We still have JA17 tho. 7. Baltimore Ravens - Lamar is still Lamar. The defense is still good. They will still be a predominantly running team, especially adding Henry. 8. Green Bay Packers - The young Packers team is just scratching the surface. They also added Josh Jacobs, Xavier McKinney, and drafted well imo. 9. Philadelphia Eagles - They were just in the SB a little over a year ago. They added Saquon and swapped Reddick for Bryce Huff. Great draft too imo. 10. NY Jets - It hinges on Rodgers. If he is there, and dialed in? They're tough. Adding Reddick was nice, but he ain't there yet either. This is on paper.
  3. Kicker shmicker. Where's the punter who can boom the ball 80 yards? Oh, yeah, he's on the Chiefs now.
  4. Dude was 48 when she was born. Dating someone young enough to be your granddaughter is kinda........ well....... gross. But, maybe she just loves old people bruises and liver spots.
  5. And Dak has ALL of the leverage in that situation.
  6. Oh, they are already preparing themselves to an extent. https://finheaven.com/threads/tuas-next-be-prepared.383691/
  7. He was a really good college QB. Those Clemson teams were stacked with talent during that run though. But it almost seems as if what you saw in college has been his ceiling in the NFL. In the NFL, the speed of the game is obviously faster and the windows are tighter. That's why you see the same guy that he was in college, but with more INT's. He kinda reminds me of Ryan Tannehill. A solid, but not elite QB and the Jags just gave him elite $$$.
  8. Meh. He's still a solid player, but this doesn't make me suddenly worry about the Phins defense or anything.
  9. Maybe. Maybe Brunell? I knew they would probably give him a 2nd contract. He hasn't been a complete bust and he was a #1 overall pick. It's still crazy $$$ to me.
  10. Via Rapoport. Crazy $$$ for this guy imo.
  11. I don't agree with the breakdown for the grades. Beane is a solid B GM to me at the moment. Our team may have won two SB's by now if not for the Chiefs. It's hard to say, really. He's drafted some quality talent and brought in some guys who have helped the team. JA17 is a generational talent at the QB position, and on track to be the greatest Buffalo Bills player in history. Our RB's have been meh for the most part. Cook had a really good year in 2023, and I hope he keeps building on that. If Ray Davis is what I have read other people say he is, combine him with Johnson, and this should be a solid group for real. That's all Beane, two draft picks and a FA signing. The trade for Diggs was a good move. Who could have known what Jefferson would turn into in this league? Beane went with a proven player who became JA's go-to target and had four really good seasons for us. This overhaul they have done at WR will determine a lot, just in my own opinion, of how I view Beane. If Coleman turns into what Gabe should have been, if Samuel pops in this offense, if Shakir continues his growth, if MVS &/or Claypool provide those big-bodied deep/red zone threats, and if Hollins turns back into the LV Raiders version? Beane will look like a mastermind. If our WR's struggle to get on the same page with JA, and it looks like we've taken a step back? That will knock Beane down the ladder for me because it will be another wasted year of the greatest QB we've seen don a Bills uni. Knox has been a solid find at TE, especially for a guy he did next to nothing in college. He had less than 40 receptions for his entire college career and ZERO TD's. He's been an absolute overachiever. We can argue the contract, but he has been more than I expected. I'm hoping he gets back more to the 2022 version this year. Kincaid has the potential to be an All Pro at the position. It will all depend on how Brady schemes the offense and how often JA looks his way. He could put up Kelce like numbers. I like Quintin Morris as well, but there are only so many targets to go around. I think Beane has done a solid job wit this group. I wish we had done more for the OL prior to last year, but the unit seems decent now. JA still makes them look better than they truly are because of his athleticism, but it's not the unit it was in 2019. I think the DL has been as much on McDermott as it has Beane. I think this is where McD has a lot more weight, pushing Beane to get the guys he wants on defense. Oliver is one of the best DT's in the NFL right now. He was a great pick. I know people complain about the Von Miller deal now, but he was EXACTLY what we had hoped for prior to his injury. He had 8 sacks, was getting a lot of pressure, and was on pace for his best season since 2018. Two of those sacks helped us in a big win at KC. No one could have seen that coming, the injury. I'm thankful they didn't go after Chandler Jones. Groot has been solid, but has battled injury the last couple of seasons. Epenesa has turned out to be a solid player, but he's nothing special. Basham was a bust of a 2nd Round pick. DQ was a good pickup, but has battled injury. We'll see how the revamp on the interior goes this year. At the LB position, Edmunds was ever the underachiever. Out of position more times than not, never making the big plays, and seemingly whiffing on opportunities to do so. Letting him walk was smart. Bernard is a gem. We all had doubts about him, but he shut every single one of us up last season. I think if we have him healthy against KC, then that's a different ballgame. The Secondary as a whole has been solid, but not spectacular. Hyde and Poyer have always seemed to be battling injuries since 2020, even though they played through some of them. Rapp is decent, we'll see how Edwards fits, and people on here seem to be high on Bishop. They will need to come together quick because we face a tough schedule this year. The trade for Douglas was a good get, Benford was a solid pick, but the biggest swing in the Secondary has been a disappointment to this point. The reports on Elam in camp are promising, but we need to see this in the regular season. I hope he's turned a corner, but right now our drafting in the Secondary hasn't been all that impressive. Bass looked like he was going to be all world after years 2 and 3, but last year missed some big one. This includes the wide right against KC this year. There were also times where McDermott could have sent him out to attempt FG's that were well within his range, but he chose not to. I don't know if it's the holder, his confidence is shot, or if he's just in a rut. Beane needs to bring in legitimate competition for TC this year though. The Punter situation here has always been meh. Bojo, Haack, and Martin. We drafted Araiza, but his career was immediately derailed by the charges filed against him. Still, these guys really don't move the needle much in my opinion of Beane because he has tried to address it. It just hasn't worked out and Bass is sort of in limbo at this point.
  12. What's more important than Mandatory Minicamp? Aaron Rodgers right now:
  13. Keon Coleman got his first network TV gig. Dancing With The Stars? Nope. The Masked Singer? Nope. It's a new show called "Are You Faster Than A 5th Grader?"
  14. I feel attacked
  15. Pssshhh. Everyone knows this guy is only doing 12 ounce curls, splitting his pants, and swinging his irons in the offseason.
  16. A live look from minicamp of Keon Coleman running routes
  17. Hurts isn't a bad QB. If anything, I think he's a bit of an overachiever actually. He is one of the top 20 QB's in the league. He has some insane talent around him though. AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and now Saquon. In college he was good, but not great at Alabama. He transferred to OU and Lincoln Riley turned him into a draftable, Day 2 QB pick. He's worked really hard in the NFL to get where he is. Good for him. I don't expect him to ever be some HOF QB or anything, but he's solid.
  18. He's just Keon Coleman to get there.
  19. I swear my guy, it's like every part of what I'm trying to tell you is juking your braincells like Barry Sanders in his prime. No one is twisting anything. The discussion of his OVERALL performance in that game is not even what I'm talking about. None of what I am talking about involves anything that happened prior to. What I AM talking about is the scenario below. Josh giving his team a lead, with under two to play, and this is how it went. I have highlighted some things for you, but it probably still won't help get the point across. 2nd & Goal at DEN 6 (1:55 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen scrambles left tackle for 6 yards, TOUCHDOWN.T.Bass extra point is GOOD, Center-R.Ferguson, Holder-S.Martin. After the Bass EP, the score is 22-21. The defense and ST then did this: 1st & 10 at DEN 25 (1:55 - 4th) (Shotgun) R.Wilson pass short middle to S.Perine to DEN 43 for 18 yards (C.Lewis; T.Rapp). BUF-C.Lewis was injured during the play. C.Lewis walks off. (1:39 - 4th) Timeout #1 by BUF at 01:39. 1st & 10 at DEN 43 (1:39 - 4th) (Shotgun) R.Wilson pass incomplete short left to C.Sutton. Receiver and coverage at DEN 47. 2nd & 10 at DEN 43 (1:36 - 4th) (Shotgun) R.Wilson scrambles up the middle to DEN 47 for 4 yards (D.Williams). 3rd & 6 at DEN 47 (1:09 - 4th) (No Huddle, Shotgun) R.Wilson pass short right to S.Perine to BUF 45 for 8 yards (D.Williams). 1st & 10 at BUF 45 (0:47 - 4th) (No Huddle, Shotgun) R.Wilson pass short right to A.Trautman to BUF 39 for 6 yards (D.Hamlin). (0:40 - 4th) Timeout #2 by DEN at 00:40. 2nd & 4 at BUF 39 (0:40 - 4th) (Shotgun) R.Wilson sacked at BUF 45 for -6 yards (sack split by A.Epenesa and T.Rapp). (0:35 - 4th) Timeout #3 by DEN at 00:35. 3rd & 10 at BUF 45 (0:35 - 4th) (Shotgun) R.Wilson pass incomplete deep left to J.Jeudy [A.Epenesa]. PENALTY on BUF-Ta.Johnson, Defensive Pass Interference, 28 yards, enforced at BUF 45 - No Play. 1st & 10 at BUF 17 (0:29 - 4th) R.Wilson kneels to BUF 19 for -2 yards. (0:25 - 4th) Timeout #2 by BUF at 00:25. 2nd & 12 at BUF 19 (0:25 - 4th) R.Wilson kneels to BUF 20 for -1 yards. (0:24 - 4th) Timeout #3 by BUF at 00:24. 3rd & 13 at BUF 20 (0:24 - 4th) R.Wilson kneels to BUF 23 for -3 yards. 4th & 16 at BUF 23 (0:07 - 4th) W.Lutz 41 yard field goal is No Good, Wide Right, Center-M.Fraboni, Holder-R.Dixon. PENALTY on BUF, Defensive Too Many Men on Field, 5 yards, enforced at BUF 23 - No Play. 4th & 11 at BUF 18 (0:00 - 4th) W.Lutz 36 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-M.Fraboni, Holder-R.Dixon.
  20. I didn't say it was not a bad game. I'm not even talking about or refusing to acknowledge what happened prior to the last drive. What I said is he handed his team a lead with under 2 minutes to play, despite the bad game. He did his job when it mattered most. The defense and ST's blew it after that. Do I need to put it in coloring book form for you?
  21. Rodgers being Rodgers. Absolutely hilarious. Combine this with an elite pass rusher they traded for at the end of March, finalized the 1st of April, who hasn't even spoken to the coach yet and it's the 2nd week of June.
  22. Yeah, it was Russ' best game as far as how he managed it and completion percentage wise. Who cares what the Dolphins put up on them? It's completely irrelevant. The game and the way the chips fall change from week to week. It was also Dorsey's last game as OC. Did you know KC lost to Denver as well? The score was 24-9. In that game, Patrick Mahomes had 2 INT's, a lost fumble, and 0 TD's. What a terrible, turnover machine that guy is. Josh had 3 games total last year without a turnover. Only 3. You know who else only had 3 games total without a turnover last year? Patrick Mahomes. Josh had 22 total turnovers. Pat had 17 total turnovers. In a 17 game season, that's a difference of 1 turnover per 13.6 quarters played. That's 1 about every 3-1/2 games. Again, JA handed them a lead with under two to go. They blew it. Just like against the Eagles and just like against the Pats.
  23. Does JA play defense? Who actually allowed Russ to have his best game of the year? Should he have been covering Perrine out of the backfield? Is it JA's job to count the number of players on the field from the bench? Josh walked into the endzone with less than two minutes to go giving the Bills a lead. Despite everything else that happened that game, he did his job when it mattered most. The defense and ST gave it away.
  24. That was one of the games where Josh got us a lead in the last 2 minutes only to have the defense give it away.... We'll, the defense and ST in that one.
