  1. Gotta be @Chef Jim
  2. This is the answer he is giving which is both true and false at the same time. He has moved past it and is on to his next venture. The truth of what happened in that situation is only known by those directly involved. In truth, the situation is over. Rehashing it constantly is counterproductive and really doesn't have relevance to the present. You learn from it and move on.
  3. For everyone's viewing pleasure, highlights of the Bills/Pats Playoff game.
  4. His lawyer basically admitted guilt. There are so many ills in this whole situation. His lawyer saying massages with a "Happy Ending" are not a crime. The fact Watson paid the business owner $5,000 to send women his way (because he's a nice guy ya know ). The fact that Watson asked to be covered with a towel or, even a wash cloth, instead of a standard sheet. The fact that he solicited NUMEROUS massage therapists. All of the stories of the plaintiffs being dang near identical. The fact that they denied, denied, denied, and now his lawyer makes this statement. The fact he tried to settle twice, but wanted a strict NDA for them to settle. The fact he sat on the stand and committed perjury saying he wasn't looking for sexual favors because he "has a girlfriend". The fact he admitted the one girl was crying, just as she testified, through text messages to her after the incident and claims he didn't know why. The fact his lawyer is now trying to walk back that statement. This guy is an unrepentant predator who doesn't deserve the privilege of donning an NFL uniform ever again.
  5. Mario Williams, Takeo Spikes, and Nate Clements. We would have an all time great defense.
  6. This just keeps getting worse and worse for Watson imo. After sitting on the stand talking about how he wasn't trying to get anything out of the women because he "had a girlfriend", now his lawyer drops this gem. This sexual predator should never take another snap in the NFL, but I hope they give him at least a 2 year ban. The Browns have to be the dumbest organization in all of professional sports.
  7. Austin is nothing more than a TC body at this point. He's not being brought in to take anyone's job. Now, if he can somehow shine bright in the return game, he may end up being able to crack the roster. I highly doubt that happens though. I think it's safe to say that Diggs, Davis, Crowder, Shakir, and McKenzie are locks. That leaves Kumerow, Hodgins, Gentry, Stevenson, Austin, Pau'u, and Malik Williams all battling for what likely will be 2 spots. Last year we had 8 WR's on the roster, but one was IR'd. Kumerow has ST value and has been here for a couple of years now so he likely has a leg up on the rest already for one. We'll see how it shakes out in TC.
  8. I liked Fitz, and Fitz was an easy guy to root for, but there is a reason his stint was short here. He was an awesome personality and teammate wherever he's been, but a Bills WOF'er he is not.
  9. ScottLaw, coming through in the clutch since 2004
  10. Absolutely, the main difference is between a random cycle and steady abuse. I've seen people get addicted to it pretty much. It seems more mental with them than anything else. They don't really lose any size at all, but their max's may drop a bit. Then you talk to them and they act like the world is coming to an end. I know my co-worker was taking too much and that's what caught up with him. About the HS kids? You'd be surprised the pressure some of them feel because of their living situations. I live in a small city called Hopewell, VA. Hopewell has produced two NFL caliber players the last few years. For a city as small as ours, that's amazing to me. Darrell Taylor, a 2nd Round pick of the Seahawks in 2020, and soon to be NFL RB TreVeyon Henderson. There are a lot of kids in a tough spot here, just like many other places. They see sports as their only way out. Some of them would do just about damn near anything if they thought it would help them get there. All you can do is try to help guide them in the right direction. Like you said, diet and putting in the work naturally (with proper form) will take them where they are trying to get to physically.
  11. Kromer likes OL'men that can move. That's what we got. Break out the beach chairs!!! Can't wait for TC to get here.
  12. If your starting QB is letting the Twitterverse affect him before TC even gets rolling, then this ought to be gold once the regular season starts. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/06/02/tua-tagovailoa-twitter-warriors-and-keyboard-warriors-criticizing-me-arent-at-practice/
  13. Beane trusts himself, McDermott, his talent evaluators, and their draft board they put together. He's not going by the "PFF Draft Guide" to make his selections. I highly doubt that ANY team is doing so. Like I said, they're idiots.
  14. Nooooooo, not because you were sending women to probe his anus and possibly become sexual assault victims in the process. It was "because he's a nice person". GTFOH with that bull****.
  15. My disdain for PFF has been known on this board for years. They manufacture metrics based off of their own skewed views about players. They downgrade or upgrade because of their own personal opinions. They will also beat that dead horse into the ground to push that skewed view until it becomes an impossible narrative to maintain any longer. The real kicker for me personally though? I watched a video they put together after the draft in 2018 (pretty sure it was 2018, but could have been 2019) where they were doing a breakdown of many of the teams' draft picks. The two clowns in the video had the audacity to claim "you can tell which teams FO's were going by our PFF Draft Guide by their selections" because it was supposed to be some kind of draft bible in the hands of every NFL GM. They're idiots.
  16. You can find anything at the gym and I had multiple friends and knew people in general who used roids. You could always spot them a mile away from their attitude, to the fact their backs were broken out like a 15 year old, their muscle structure, and the excessively protruding veins. One of the guys worked with me at the chemical plant. He had a massive heart attack at 26-27 years old and the doctors told him it was directly related to his usage because he had no other health defects. You also see an increased injury risk because your tendons become more stiff. The body in turn pushing weight it has not naturally been trained to handle puts you at risk of ruptures. The increased stress put on one's body, because the roids make them feel like Superman, will speed up the aging process. High school kids can also stunt their growth if they start messing with this stuff early. The levels of testosterone actually signal the body to stop bone growth when it is overproduced due to usage. A cycle here or there over an extended period of years, after one has stopped natural growth, may not be that bad as a whole. But becoming reliant upon them will have damaging long term effects and could cost you your life.
  17. He had a rough stretch last year, but he's definitely been the the best and most consistent player on our OL since entering the league. Hoping a full, healthy offseason and the addition of Saffold makes his play look even better.
  18. That guy handed out and took some serious punishment throughout his career.
  19. She wasn't afraid of anything. She said that his smug attitude acting like he's done nothing wrong is what pushed her to come forward also. She also has some pretty damning testimony as well if they can somehow trace the $$$ she says was paid to the owner of the business to send women his way. She's also going for the minimum compensation. If it were, say, 3-5 women I could see it being a $$$ grab. But 23 and talk of a 24th? This guy is a sleazy sexual predator who thought his fame and $$$ would never allow him to be caught. I hope he never takes another snap in the NFL and justice is served for these women, financially or whatever.
