  1. Trubisky will lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to the AFC North division crown. The Jaguars will win 8 games. Seattle will have the worst record in football this year. The Chiefs will finish 3rd in their division. Jimmy G will be the starter in San Fran by week 7.
  2. The should dump McCourty and bring him on at GMFB asap.
  3. And this will truly be the end of Tommy Boy. He will not be all in, his head will not be in the game, and this is where everything comes crashing down. I remember him joking around saying she was a witch at some point, talking about how she did some mess and told him that if he did exactly what she said then he would win the SB. Then he/his team did. Now she's pissed at him? You know he's living in fear.
  4. The only game Cheffers called for us last year was the away regular season game at KC. Called 10 penalties on us that game. Can't remember any of them being that egregious.
  5. That's a negative there Ghost Rider. They are in a drought too. They don't have the water to run the swamp coolers.
  6. If OBJ is 100, and wants to come here, we would be stupid not to sign him. It would be another elite weapon for Josh and someone else that defenses have to account for. Is he the "missing piece" that gets us a ring? I think that has already been addressed, and it was on the defensive side of the football. Still, he would be one heck of a complimentary piece to an offense that already looks like it will be hard to handle for any team in the NFL.
  7. No anxiety, just excited the Bills are back on and the games are about to count. Just hoping we don't come out flat like we did last year against Pittsburgh in the opener.
  8. I'll go with the Giants over the Titans. I think a healthy Saquon puts up big #'s in a W.
  9. I like the fact that Saffold has familiarity of facing Donald every day in practice from his time with the Rams. Donald is unblockable at times, but I hope that Saffold has some insights which will benefit the rest of the OL.
  10. I'd actually rather see the Pats win. All of the Tua and Hill hype, I would love to see them fall flat on their faces week 1. If for nothing else, just to hear the excuses from the sports media bobbleheads.
  11. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/09/01/report-marcus-maye-is-arrested-for-aggravated-assault-with-a-firearm/ Didn't see this anywhere on the main page or using the search. The Saints are looking to be without one of their better players on defense following this I would assume. First Kamara and now this.
  12. Beasley is done in Buffalo. Between the situations last year and his comments, that's a negative. We'll be fine without McKenzie against LA if that's the way things pan out. It means a Crowder and Shakir rotation, which I am fine with at this point.
  13. I think he actually wants to ride this year out, force them to use the FT, and pin them down for every dime he can get. It will definitely work out in his favor as long as he remains healthy. Burrow and Herbert are on deck for their extensions next year as well. The price is only going up with each passing contract.
  14. We will have too much of a time share between Singletary, Cook, and Moss for this to happen.
  15. Vikings cut Kellen Mond, Janarius Robinson, and Chazz Surratt. All 2021 draft picks. The new regime is cleaning house it seems. The Bucs are also going to cut Tyler Johnson. I know there were some people on the board who wanted him when he was coming out of Minnesota a couple years ago in the draft. The Dolphins are cutting Preston Williams. The Jets are releasing Tevin Coleman. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in Miami since he spent time in SF. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/
  16. I would have released him after the game where he made a reception, then jumped up to make a 1st down gesture when he was actually about a yard and a half short.
  17. This actually does surprise me a bit. I guess they feel Morris showed more in Camp and the preseason. They also must be comfortable that the "injury" yesterday is nothing serious.
  18. I still think Jimmy G is the SF insurance policy for if Lance struggles. I think they, the 49ers and JG, know it. They have a SB caliber roster, especially on defense. I don't think Shanahan or Lynch throw that away on a rookie's growing pains (basically what he is), if it does happen. Maybe Lance looks good, but better to be safe than sorry.
  19. If we get more pressure on QB's, that will make our Secondary look that much better. Hurried QB's are forced to make quicker decisions, throw the ball before they want to, and they are more prone to mistakes. The Secondary is then able to make more plays and they aren't forced to cover as long. I'm hoping the front really gets after it this year, which will make the whole defense look even better. I believe we'll be fine until Tre gets back, and then we'll be even more scary on defense when he does.
  20. Yeah, this sounds absolutely horrible. In this day and age I would also hope that nothing like this could or would be swept under the rug for any reason. Hoping it's not true, that Araiza was not involved. If he was? He's got to go.
  21. Phantom injury and IR coming in 3.....2.....1
