  1. Skylar Thompson is a rookie QB who hasn't been able to move the ball against either NE or the Jets. You can also bet that McDermott and Frazier will have the kid's head spinning. They won't be able to move the ball on us really either. I'd be shocked if they put up more than 14-17 points. Miami's defense hasn't really been able to stop us at any point in either game. We stopped ourselves with various miscues. We'll put up 30+ and they'll put up something in the teens. It's not a Bye week per say, but the outlook totally changed from a slugfest between two high-powered offenses to heavily leaning the Bills' way.
  2. I go on a company outing for an hour and a half, come back to see Tua's out, and both Hyde and Crowder are practicing with the team.
  3. No game is a given. It's now a one game season EVERY week. You feel bad for Tua, but this basically puts us into the Divisional Round. I hope for Tua's sake that he rides off of his likeability and latches on with College Game Day or something. If he keeps playing football things will only get worse.
  4. Strange considering the revenue it could bring in locally. But, their loss.
  5. Basically, the middle point between the two would be Indianapolis. That's also a dome.
  6. Chicago also has $118M in projected cap space and there is DEFINITELY a need there after the trade of Roquan.
  7. Wow. Yeah, the FT is not really an option then. They could try to use the Transition Tag. That would at least give them the chance to match an offer. That runs around $16M. Hopefully Edmunds pulls a Milano and gives us a hometown discount to stay for 3-4 more years. He could still get one more sizeable contract after that as he would still be under 30 years old.
  8. Well, we just found out who Nextmanup is in real life:
  9. They have the FT to use on Edmunds if need be and Oliver is on his 5th year option next season. I assume you are talking about going into 2024?
  10. "Did someone say send Boyd somewhere for a woody? I know a place...."
  11. Edmunds has been about as rock solid as you can get this year. He's made more plays closer to the LOS this year. He's been seemingly better in coverage, not getting lost as much. He's blown up plays without making the tackle by forcing ball carriers elsewhere or making the QB chuck a ball when blitzing. Not everything he has done shows up on the stat sheet. But one thing I will note, you could see a clear difference in our defense when he wasn't on the field. I don't know if he gets his contract this year though. I still believe he will be the recipient of a FT and they will see if they can work something out after that.
  12. Don't think that Troy had no contact with Goodell over the matter as well. His greasy little paws are in on this also. Good for Aponte. She showed true character, sensitivity, and class. I also appreciate Zach Taylor and the Bengals for how they handled the situation. No one has ever basically died on the field before and that is exactly what happened 8 days ago. To think that the Bills players/coaches/staff could have just shaken that off and continued is ridiculous.
  13. And this is what is wrong with the world, but I'm sure there have always been idiots like this. Scrolled down to the comments section about Damar being out of the hospital and back in Buffalo to see this: Like seriously, what type of human being gives a "thumbs down" to a statement like this after what we saw last week? Disgusting.
  14. They're saving him for the Bengals game, if both Buffalo and Cincy make it to the Divisional Round.
  15. Already said #4 was about as much sense as I could make from moving down. I don't think he makes it to #4 though, not unless he bombs the athletic testing (which he won't) or something pops up on the medicals. He would end up with the highlighted team below:
  16. So could the next 21 year old version of Von Miller
  17. Where are they now?
  18. I am of the mind that Chicago will stay put and draft Will Anderson @ #1, who I think is going to be the next dominant edge rusher in the NFL.
  19. Yeah, but the questions will be how do Chicago's player evals look and how far down are they comfortable moving. I could see dropping to #4, but everything else would be a bit more iffy. It would have to be a heck of a deal for me to move back to 8, 9, or even lower.
  20. I figured they'd give Lovie at least one more year, but Houston has been a 💩 show for quite some time.
  21. If I were Sean Payton, this is where I would be looking to go. He'd have one of the best young QB's in the league, a really good group of skill players all the way around, and a defense that could be easily top 10 in the league if everyone is healthy. If the Chargers were smart, they would be all over this. But I don't believe the Chargers are smart, and will likely continue the course of futility. We must have posted this at the same time.
  22. Playoff Josh is Primetime Josh. See last year for reference.
  23. Of course they don't deserve it, but it is what it is. At least we have home field until a neutral site game in the AFCCG, pending we make it of course.
  24. I'm sure this has probably been mentioned in here at some point, in one of the threads, but Mac Jones is definitely a c*nt. The videos are out there of his dirty tactics, the rants on the sideline, the pouting on and off the field, and his stomping around like a pissed off eight year old who didn't get his way. Yesterday, when he tried the QB draw and Lawson popped him at the 2 yd line, he tried to shove Lawson off of him. He is quickly becoming the most unlikeable tw*t in the NFL.
