Man just about every single person on ESPN picking the Bengals
H2o replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's the same bobbleheads who will try and feed to the mentally challenged that Josh Allen has regressed or is somehow a bad QB. -
How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
H2o replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any given Sunday the Bills, Chiefs, and Bengals could all beat the other team. My thought on this one? -
Wildcard game against Dolphins was longest home game in franchise history

God help us all if we ever have to suffer through Tony Romo for that long EVER again in this life. -
Josh is morphing as a QB…has stopped running recklessly
H2o replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall
When the spy/spies are actually in position to stop him, yeah, he's not going to be able to run. The fact that both teams were disciplined in this, as well as not getting too wide on their rushing lanes and in turn collapsing the pocket, has caused Josh to take some sacks or get tackled around the LOS. -
I have respected the Bengals, the coaching staff (even going back to Marvin Lewis), their fans, and a lot of their players for a long time. Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd basically ended our Playoff drought against the Ravens. I also gained even more respect for the staff and some of the players after that Monday night situation. I've always liked Burrow going back to his days at LSU. The guy is a special QB. You could see it then and how it has translated now. He's one of the calmest QB's I've ever seen in the pocket, no matter what's going on around him, or the situation at hand. He reminds me a lot of Joe Montana. You all have a really good team from top to bottom. It's why you made the SB last year. Your boy Hendrickson though? He's piece of crap, dirty player. You can post your videos and homer fan takes to go along with them, but you see Hendrickson look straight at Josh's legs before he whips his body over and into him. Regardless of anything you or any other Cincy homer will say, it is pretty obvious exactly what took place. This isn't the first time he's pulled some crap like that either. There have been other instances of his dirty tactics on display going back to his time in NO. Hitting guys low, hitting guys late, stuff like he did with Josh Allen. Heck, this past weekend he plowed into the back of an unsuspecting Ravens' OL'man who was engaged blocking someone else and ended up being hurt on the play. I think he returned to the game later, but it was still a b*tch move on Hendrickson's part. Hayden Hurst as well. Another piece of crap, dirty player. Using all his weight to purposely drive a guy's head into the ground. both of those guys and I hope they get what they deserve for purposely trying to injure other players.

And this is pretty much what most of us have noticed. Von was having a really solid year and was going to end up with 12+ sacks. Having him on the field also opened things up for everyone else because of the attention he commanded. We miss him tremendously. Another guy who has had an effect on this stat? Jordan Phillips. He hasn't been healthy in quite some time and is a beast in this defense getting pressure from the interior.

Oooooh, are we turning this into a "Fire Beane" thread now? We haven't had one of those in a while.

You mean like the guy who bet $1M at halftime that the Chargers would win the game against Jax?

Lawson gets 2 sacks this week, Groot 1, Oliver 2, Taron 1, and Milano 1.

Schwartz is a quality DC. It is still Cleveland though. Hopefully they reap every amount of misery deserved for their Deshaun Watson involvement and the ensuing contract they handed the criminal.

Halftime Adjustments a Myth! (Per Peyton Manning)
H2o replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty soon he'll be on the same downswing as Romo. -
Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"
H2o replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady is solid even at 45-46 years old. I can't see there being too many suitors for him at this point though. Tampa - Probably will throw an offer out there. NE - I wouldn't rule out a reunion with Belicheat for one more run, especially if they can upgrade the WR room with a Deandre Hopkins. Miami - Maybe, but they are claiming to be invested in Tua as stupid as that may be. NY Jets - This will be where his largest offer comes from, especially if they don't pursue Lamar. Washington - This is the last team I think MIGHT throw their hat in the ring. They would have to fix the OL with everything else they have though. -
Bryce Young vs CJ Stroud - Both in the Draft now
H2o replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not big on either Stroud or Young, but Young would be my choice of the two. The QB class this year is weak overall imo. I actually like Will Levis and Hendon Hooker out of the entire group to have the best pro careers depending on the situation they land in. Also, the hype surrounding Anthony Richardson as a 1st Round pick is absolutely idiotic. The guy is terrible. He only completed 53% of his passes and didn't throw his 1st TD pass until THE 4th GAME of the season. Anyone who watched him should have the common sense to realize he's a day 3 prospect. -
This guy for continually forgetting how long the play clock was and causing them to burn all of their 2nd half TO's.

Difference in O-Line Year over Year
H2o replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
This OL is who we thought it was. The run blocking is better this year, but the pass blocking is still suspect on occasion. Saffold and Brown seem to struggle the most. It needs to be the focus of our off-season. That said, we can still beat any team we come up against. It's all scheme and execution. Take the quick hitters, run the ball with consistency to open up the play-action passing game, and put Josh in position to be successful. -
Obvious block in the back. Just like the obvious block in the back yesterday on Edmunds that allowed Miami to get a 1st down.

One of the dumbest things that needs to be stopped already? Running to the endzone after every turnover. Hey guy, you didn't make it all the way back. Walk to the sidelines
-
And Cousins still does Cousins things. The Geeeeeeeee-Men!!!!

Yeah, that young man is about to get PAID too

If the Vikes tie and win this game........ That was a shite call by the refs

BS call

Hodgins truly has made the most of his opportunity. I'm happy for the guy. He wouldn't have been seeing the same usage here though. He's in a great spot where he can be featured. Good for him, Dabs, and the G-men
