He has been so trash this year. I'm sure part of it is Hackett and his offense. But geez, reading defenses and throwing a football is what Russ has been getting paid to do for 10+ years now.

The idiot got what he deserved. Just because you're an idiot with a supposed "cause" doesn't give you the right to be the idiot who runs on a field to disrupt a professional sporting event. The only further justice would have been if he, the idiot who ran on the field, ended up in the concussion protocol.

Tre will likely be on a snap count for the first 3 or 4 weeks is my guess. They will implement a rotation like with the D-Line until White is fully back to form. After that, it's play the hot hand opposite of Tre.

That's what I'm talking about. By all accounts it was a severe high ankle sprain. Here he is 2 weeks later all taped up and trying to give it a go. Coincidentally or not, it is also the week after a rookie steps on the field and had a pretty solid showing.

Beasley: Yeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh boy, studio time all the time.

Mac just might be under some pressure in Beantown. This was originally being reported as a 4-6 week injury, possibly even 6-8 weeks. Now he's out there like a wounded warrior with tape all up and down his legs. Feeling some Zappe heat possibly? https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/football/nfl/player-news

She's worth more than he is. There will be no taking him to the cleaners.

Quarter Pole: Unexpected Results Around the League
H2o replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Surprises: 1. Russell Wilson stinking up the joint. Is it on Hackett or did Pete Carrol hide Wilson's deficiencies over the years? 2. The Rams looking like a one year wonder. 3. The level our defense is performing at despite all of the injuries. Tremaine Edmunds, especially, seems to have taken a huge step forward. 4. The Chiefs not missing a beat really. 5. Geno Smith. 10 years in the league, finally gets the chance to be a starter again, and is completing 77% of his passes right now. Crazy. 6. The Cowboys looking better with Cooper Rush at the helm than they do with Dak. Jerruh with buyer's remorse? 7. Jared Goff having a revival in Detroit. If their defense could stop a nose bleed they might be 4-0 right now. 8. The Giants are 3-1. I know people want to heap praise upon Daboll, and he deserves some, but Barkley is the difference for them right now. He's healthy. 9. Baker Mayfield in Carolina. He's been bad, REALLY bad. Not what I expected. 10. The Jags had 5 turnovers and only lost to the "vaunted" Eagles by 8 points. At 2-2 right now and they will win the AFC South this year. -
I would think 2 at the minimum and I wouldn't be surprised if he missed 4 or 5 to be honest.

Duke Williams is available and I heard he needs some "fine" $$$ for situations north of the border.

According to whom?

Sucks for Crowder. Shakir is going to get his run now though. Best way to learn and get acclimated is on the field. Hopefully he can step up.

Kumerow, Crowder, McKenzie, all guys we may be without this coming weekend against Pittsburgh. But hey, let's rest Gabe for the sake of rest even if HE feels comfortable enough to go. What a great idea. That would leave us with Diggs and Shakir. Then what? Call up Austin, Hodgins, and Gentry? This isn't a head injury. I trust a WR to know whether he can go while pushing through an ankle situation or not. We're already looking at having to bring up one or two from the PS as it is. We need to make it to the Bye week and then guys can get a solid 9-10 days off if need be.

Boomer Esiason suggests the Bills should trade for Barkley
H2o replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Giants are right in the thick of the Playoff hunt in the weak NFC. Barkley isn't going anywhere. Both Daboll and Schoen know how big a part of the offense this guy is. Before yesterday? Probably. But after McDaniels finally realized he needs to run Jacobs to win? Not likely to happen now. -
Everyone talking about giving Davis a rest week, like this Steelers game is a gimme. It's not. Even without Watt, they still have a really good defense. I don't expect them to be a pushover. We should win, but any given Sunday ya know. If Davis is comfortable to go then we need him on the field. We have two weeks left and then our Bye.

We need both, but Josh is clearly the most important player on this team. You honestly think we would have success with Tyrod back there? Sorry, not happening. I'll take a top 3 NFL QB any day of the week. This doesn't downplay what the defense has done, but without Josh we are probably 1-3 or 0-4 right now.
