Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)
H2o replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game is over. The Ravens will never get the stops on defense to get back in it -

I counted 3 holds by the Chiefs OL on that play -

4th down and Lamar chucks it out of bounds? -

The Ravens don't have that fire in them. It consistently shows against the better teams. I expect the Chiefs to stretch this out to a two or three score lead in the 2nd half, then keep it that way. -

The Ravens look like they don't want to win. -

Mahomes has turned into the most whiney little turd in the NFL -
17 -0 means nothing if we don't win the Super Bowl.

We won't be 17-0. We will lose 2-4 games during the regular season. The main thing is to secure the #1 seed this year and not have to play in the WC round. Make everyone have to come through Buffalo and get that bye week. -
Interesting new kickoff tactic- the "knucklekick"

There was always going to be some kind of adjustment. Handing the ball to teams at the 35 yard line makes that happen. I hope Prater/Bass/whoever start working on this here. -
Run defense ? Let’s see how it works today.

The only bets House makes are in his mind. His wallet has been MIA for about 7 years now. -

The Saints OL is not the Ravens OL. I'd expect us to keep them between 100 to 120 yds on the ground. Spencer Rattler is actually a baller. He's smallish and athletic enough, so I hope our DE's keep containment like they should. Also, Olave and Shaheed have good speed on the outside. I don't think they will be able to stop our offense at any point though. I still think we win 37-17. -
Tua cannot operate outside of the timing based system he is in now. He's not really mobile. His arm strength is meh. He's not going to create on his own. It was a massive overpay by Miami.

Jackson Hawes podcast interview with Eric Wood.

Seems like a quality young man. Hope he continues to progress as the season goes along. Here's also to hoping he knocks the snot out of Chris Jones, Nick Bolton, Drue Tranquill, Leo Chenal, and George Karlaftis. Especially Tranquill for that cheap shot right hand he hit Allen with last year. -
For him to be 2 months in, and still wearing a knee brace like that, it doesn't make me feel too confident that he's close to returning from this. It actually makes me think it's more of a tear than just a sprain and they want to see if it will heal on it's own without surgery. I'm not confident he will play at all this year.

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
H2o replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would rather KC lose. I wish them, and their fans, every misery as it pertains to football possible. I hope they go 8-9 so their draft pick sucks, miss the Playoffs, Kelce retires at halftime week 17, Harbaugh draws on Andy's face with a Sharpie, and someone puts the slippery rubber mats out for Mahomes. -
Week 4, Ain'ts v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

Ahhhh, so he's mad we DIDN'T keep Dorsey at the helm and switched to Brady.

I don't think there is a roster move Beane makes, ESCPECIALLY with regard to the defense, where McDermott is not involved. You can bet McDermott had a hand in moving up for Sanders.

And did I say anything about him NOT being a great guy? No. I said sometimes he's hard to understand and that Josh is very well articulated, and has a natural charisma that Lamar does not.

There are a bunch of 🤡 reporters who write a bunch of 🤡 articles on a daily/weekly basis. They consistently show their lack of knowledge on whom or what they are writing about. In some instances, they just say the wildest things looking for clicks and views. That's what it has turned into now versus quality journalism as a whole.

The question is, "What attitude would he come in with?" Would he come in with a chip on his shoulder from what's taken place and be on a, "Let's go get this ring," type of mission? Or is he just generally a selfish, me first, problematic type of individual? If we could get version 1, absolutely. We don't need a problem child on the team though, if it really is version 2.

Found this when I did an Aubrey search : Cowboys Superstar Kicker Brandon Aubrey is being evaluated for a long-term medical condition. Many medical experts believe “he got that dawg in him”. A recovery from said condition is unknown and he might have to deal with it for the rest of his life.

I just saw this. The story I read said all of the evidence is leaning towards suicide. Very tragic. Hate to see anyone leave the world this way. Praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.

Pete Carroll hid Russ' flaws for many years. No one else has been able to. He's serviceable, but they aren't going anywhere with him at the helm. Might as well see what they got in the rook. With Dart, I worry that this could end up as a David Carr type of situation. That Giants OL is terrible. I hope he doesn't stand back there and get beaten to death for 14 games.

Lamar is not the most articulate of people. Sometimes it sounds like he is trying to talk with a mouth full of marbles. Josh, on the other hand, is very well spoken and just has a natural charisma about him.
