  1. Of course this was always going to be the narrative. They all have been advocating for Lamar to get the MVP for weeks now. They have to continue to prop their guy up even though he lost head-to-head this time against the other leading candidate for MVP. If we would have lost, the narrative would be, "Josh can't win the big game.....Josh can't lead his team past the Divisional Round." Now, even though they lost, Baltimore was the better team and it's not Lamar's fault. In the end, who cares. They're on the couch and we're on to Arrowhead.
  2. Buffalo could have put the game away if they had just QB sneaked twice. Instead they have Josh in the Shotgun. They were not clearly the "better" team. We missed some plays too. We didn't turn the ball over. The defense, of the winning team, MADE THE PLAYS that won the game.
  3. To the nearest Burger King so he can have it his way.
  4. Good, one less opening for Brady.
  5. Hopefully we have Benford on Sunday. He is a need.
  6. We also just showed that we could do enough against the league's #1 offense to beat any team left on the board. It doesn't matter. Philly or Washington. I like Daniels. The young man is just poised beyond his years. Still, I think we match up better against their defense. They haven't faced a QB like Josh. Hurts is alright, but Josh is on another level. I also think our defense matches up just fine with them. With Philly, they are like Baltimore light because Hurts is nowhere near Lamar. Contain Barkley and make Hurts beat you with his arm. No one better even mention the game from a couple seasons ago because we all know the refs were killing us in the first half throwing flags every time we breathed. That was also the game where Gabe zigged when he should have zagged. I like our chances against either if we get past KC on Sunday.
  7. Outside of the AFCCG a few years ago, these games have been close. I would imagine this one will be no different, as long as the refs don't blatantly decide the game. We have a more balanced offense, Josh is playing free, and the Chiefs offense is not what it has been in previous years. They are atop the mountain until we shove them off of the cliff though.
  8. You do realize that the Ravens had a historic offense this year, right? They had the #1 Total Offense in the NFL. Lamar threw for 4,000+ and almost had 1,000 yds on the ground. Then Derrick Henry had 1,900+ on the ground outside of that. I believe Henry had been on a tear as well. We're not facing an offense like that next week, and we beat the brakes off of the Broncos who didn't have an offense like that the previous week. If we face Philly in the SB, then I imagine the gameplan is fairly similar and Jalen Hurts is not Lamar by any means. There also won't be any snow in NO. Our defenders will not be at the disadvantage they were yesterday.
  9. All of our players have given up big plays, missed a tackle, or something at one point or another. 8 weeks ago, people were looking to run Oliver out of town on a rail. Taron is one of the best NCB's in the league.
  10. I always viewed the Diggs move as addition by subtraction, and the team has proven just that.
  11. This was always going to be the narrative after last night's events. Let them keep talking. You saw Josh mention it in the post-game interview. They love the bulletin board material.
  12. Still would rather listen to him than Collinsworth.
  13. I had faith that JA17 would have put the cape on and did his thing. Turned out he didn't have to. The main thing is the Ravens are on the couch and we are moving on. Could care less about any of the 🤡's on TV right now.
  14. Those guys on the OL have been solid for sure. Dawkins is one of the top LT's in the league. Spencer Brown has turned into a beast in the run game this year. McGovern has done way better than I anticipated he would. I wouldn't call them stars per say, but Dion is close. What they are is perfect for this team, in this moment. Kromer has these guys ready to go every week and Brady's game plans have played to our strengths. The Ravens had both the #1 rushing offense and the #1 rushing defense. The Broncos had the #3 rushing defense. We ran the ball consistently against both. Then, we kept Henry at that 84 yd threshold. That is when the Ravens lost all 5 other times this year. Baltimore put up 300 yds rushing against that Steelers defense last week, and Henry dominated. The defense came through. All these things combined with the bounces seeming to go our way makes this team feel magical, like a team of destiny. Yeah, I know we've said this before. But this time you have been seeing the results. Now it's time to go slay the dragon. Bury the Chiefs, the Hunt's, the Swifties, the Clarkies, the Kelce's, and the Mahomes'.
  15. In years past, we would be the team committing the costly penalties. Or we would have a crushing turnover. Opposing teams would make these backbreaking plays in the most crucial moments. The coaching staff was constantly fumbling the bag. It would just seem like nothing was going our way when it mattered most. Since that early season loss to the Ravens, outside of the Rams game, things have been turned around. Josh, on the verge of a disastrous decision yesterday, thought better about attempting a lateral at the goal line. We have been protecting the ball. We have been winning with a middling WR group. There are no stars on this offense outside of Allen and Cook (emerging). McDermott has been doing better with clock management and has had a feel for what needs to be done. The defensive adjustments we have seen both game to game, and at halftime, have produced results. We've won the big games. Chiefs, Lions, a hot Denver team, the Ravens (regardless about how you feel because of the way it happened). This team is doing what previous Bills squads failed to do. The whole vibe around this team is different. Josh is playing free. Cook, Davis, and Johnson might be the best top to bottom RB stable in the NFL. Everyone is contributing. Everyone is doing their 1/11. This just may be our year. Let's beat the Chiefs in KC and finish the job in New Orleans. Go Bills!!!
  16. For all the talk of Hyde playing? He's not. If you listened to the way McDermott talked about him, it's almost like he's just serving in a coaching capacity. He may be out there doing a little bit, but there has been no indication about him getting meaningful reps in practice either. We have Bishop and Lewis. One of those guys is gonna have to get it done.
  17. The one thing that held true? In all 5 of Baltimore's previous losses, Henry ran for 84 yards or fewer. Last night's total? 84 yards.
  18. This game is gonna be another dog fight. Look for it to be decided late in the 4th, if not the final seconds, again. Stop the run and do not lose track of Kelce. It still amazes me how this guy ends up wide open, like the defense can't even see him on the field.
  19. Now that we won, this will be the narrative: Lamar outplayed Josh, but his team let him down.
  20. I respect them and all, but I can't begin to express how happy I am that we beat those buttholes. I don't like either of the Harbaugh's and the bobbleheads would have never shut the hell up about Josh losing in the Playoffs.
  21. That would be the best revenge of all. Then he can wear his SB ring on his middle finger.
  22. Great player who had a rough game. Such is life. He'll bounce back.
  23. The Bills take years off of my life every week. The Ravens are a great team. Lamar did everything he could. The defense came up big and the Ravens miscues cost them.
