  1. Yup. Leaving aside the result of the play, even if it worked I don’t understand why he picked that moment to finally call a WC pass. We’ve watched Chan call runs out of the WC time and time again to the point where I was on board with the idea that he would lead teams to never ever expect a pass out of our WC—and then have a surprise play sitting in his pocket for when he really needs it. Why would he wait all that time only to call a WC pass at a moment when it was utterly unnecessary?
  2. Agree! History tells us the Bills will give us hope at least once more this season before yanking it away in embarrassing fashion; no reason why it shouldn't start this week against another pretender. Let's go Buffalo!
  3. Fred should put the team on his back, .
  4. Amazing that a throw-away thread about a washed-up former WR ended up making me reconsider my lifelong love of Bocce pizza. Gotta love the offseason on TBD.
  5. That is disappointing to read. Not as disappointing as the career of the former Biletnikoff Award winner, but disappointing nonetheless. I agree with the comment above that Buffalo is not for everybody, and Josh Reed was there during some tough years. Normally a former Bill trashing Buffalo would really piss me off, but for some reason this just makes me feel bad for Reed.
  6. Never met Paul; never met any of you. I just wanted to say that DC Tom's eulogy--including his observation that BiB died of a broken heart--stands among the most moving tributes I ever read. Rest in peace.
  7. And that is an impressive, to borrow a phrase from our fearless leader, "body of work."
  8. Here's a Columbus Dispatch article on the wide range of opinions on Mike Adams: http://www.buckeyextra.com/content/stories/2012/04/25/adams-draft-stock-faces-mixed-market.html Obligatory Bills Content: Joe Panos is Adams's agent.
  9. Correct - he was suspended last season for trading his personal sports memorabilia for tattoos. That, combined with the pot thing, tells me "Big Mike" has a hard time staying out of trouble. He is a beast on the field though....
  10. Props to the editor for stopping on a Miami cheerleader at 7:14.
  11. A top draft pick like Mario is expected to have a lot of sex. His sex were down a bit last year, but that was due to injury. For the kind of money we're talking about, hell yes I demand sex. Lots and lots of sex.
  12. The money, Mario. Just take the farg'n money already.
  13. This. Everyone in the college game knows not to attack a kid going through a very complicated time in his life.
  14. Are we talking about the same McGahee, the one who sat on the sideline eating a friggin ham sandwich with the playoffs on the line against Pittsburgh? I don't hate Willis, but he will never live down that hilariously awful WTF?! moment for me.
  15. I expect that Spiller bracing for a hit on the goal line will be the lasting image of his time in Buffalo. Kind of like McGahee eating a turkey sandwich on the sideline while the Steelers' backups beat us out of a spot in the playoffs.
  16. This description of the Chargers reminds me of a line that was once used about the Bills and still pisses me off: tough team to play; easy team to beat.
  17. +1 for an MVP chant at home games.
  18. "Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." Rest in peace. Thanks for setting a great example for the rest of us. Go Bills.
  19. Heh. I believe Orlando Pace is available. Giterdone!
  20. Well, right. But in that situation the likelihood went from 0% to 0.01% because the defense was overly geeked to make something happen. I loved the Bills' motion on that play. Just a hilarious way to end the game. Pure enjoyment for this tortured fan. I can't believe it worked.
  21. Good info, thanks. This would be a solid deal... if we actually received the 66th pick.
