McLaurin is a product of Urban Meyer’s philosophy on WRs while at Ohio State. First you have to be an absolute animal on ST, then you have to be a great (not a good) edge blocker on offense. If you do those things at a high level, and you have no other issues, then and only then will you be rewarded with a pass play called for your number. Urban had a lot of love for several players who weren’t necessarily his playmakers because they did everything he ever asked. Terry McLaurin is one of those players. Maybe I should go vegan? Fields looks great through two games. Critical throws under pressure, shaking off a couple of big hits, and the Cardale-style shoulder dip stood out to me last night. Day’s unpredictable play calling is super exciting. Still not sure about this running game. Bullets were flying around! Dotson continues to impress. Wade really had his hands full in both games so far.

Agreed. It’s always close lately, PSU is furious about last week, and that program doesn’t lose two in a row very often. At least it isn’t supposed to rain.... 😳

Nebraska was headhunting and nobody can convince me otherwise. I love how OSU consistently hangs 50+ on a blue blood program like that. Fields looks amazing and should have been a 100% passer. Wilson and Olave may be the best tandem in the country. Njiba's TD was insane - his body control at that speed reminded me of Michael Thomas's TD against Alabama. Running game needs to be worked out. Chambers may have ran the hardest of out any of them. Defense has a lot of holes to fill and I'm still not sure about Coombs as a play caller. Still, they got it together after a rough start. Every season is a process from start to finish, and I hope starting in Week 8 gives this team enough time to develop because the talent is extremely exciting. We back!!!!

I was actually holding it together okay through that trailer... until the stadium O-H-I-O cheer hit and now it's just goosebump city. Buckle tf up.

Have to admit I’m a little hesitant about OSU place kickers after Mike Nugent, the best kicker I ever saw in Scarlet and Gray, didn’t live up to expectations.
