With everything else going on I had forgotten how hard these trailers hit. How about Cooper with the honorary block zero jersey yelling "we got something to prove!" I hope he has a good day tomorrow and beyond.

Looks like the list of infected/impacted players is not a well kept secret among the beat writers.

Yeah I just saw the Jeff Snook report on Facebook (not again) about several starters being absent on Saturday. Apparently if the game is canceled it will not be rescheduled. Ugh.

That program looks broken from where I sit. Maybe it’s a one off season with all the uncertainty, but I’ve never seen TTUN like this.

Maybe Sunday's practice wasn't as "spirited" as previously reported.

They canceled over “concerns.”

Fully admitting my bias, I truly see no issue with allowing OSU to play in the B1G championship. They're undefeated. They beat IU. Cancelling their sixth game was not OSU's fault or decision. They'd be in the B1G championship game even if they played Michigan tomorrow and lost by a million. Removing the six-game requirement is fine with me because they've been changing the rules on the fly all year, and it makes sense under these circumstances. I understand the view that the rules were made before the season and should not be changed now, and that's a valid point, but on balance the B1G championship situation feels correct to me. And, we still don't even know if that game will be able to be played. The CFP is a different story, assuming OSU is able to defeat NU. It's hard to leave out an undefeated B1G champion that easily passes any eye test with a roster full of NFL talent. That's a team anyone should want to see compete in the playoff. But I totally get that other teams played several more games and deserve additional consideration for making it happen in an unfathomably difficult year. I'd love to see OSU play A&M or Oklahoma this weekend -- that would be wild and so much fun for the fans, and it would be equally uncomfortable for the programs that rely so heavily on routine and game prep. There must be a ton of advance work that goes into these inter-conference matchups because they're planned years in advance, and scheduling a game on short notice for any reason doesn't seem to be taken seriously by the decisions makers. I really don't understand why an idea like that is a non-starter. In any event, I'd be upset and wonder what might have been if OSU gets left out, but I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it because I've seen OSU excluded under far more egregious circumstances (2015, 2018), and I'm just happy they figured out a way to play football this fall. It's been highly entertaining.

Lots of noise out there about the league rearranging the schedule and having us play Maryland. Do you know if the sixth game needs to be a league game in order to qualify for the conference championship? Because… Texas A&M is available.

Watch them come and play lights out. Between the point spread and the whole country wondering if they’ll even show up, Harbaugh will have them motivated out of their minds.
-
Looks like neither McNamara nor Milton can play, and I don’t think Michigan would show up in Columbus with no quarterback, but we’ll see.

Urban doing this dance with Texas had the collateral effect of humiliating Tom Herman, who is now going to have an even harder time recruiting for a program that is publicly searching for a new HC.

I remember when UB moved into Division I and hearing at the time that it would take about 20 years to become relevant. It really is something for the local team.

Good win. Leaders stepped up. Fields is special. Apparently snapping the football is not like riding a bike for Miller. Game week starts now!

Looks like Davis is the only starter on the line.

Welp, that’s real tough for tomorrow and it’s going to get even tougher going forward. By all accounts, these players and most coaches took every precaution and made serious sacrifices to stay safe at their hotel and the Woody. If some assistant coach screwed around and infected the bubble, I can image that people would be pretty pissed about it.

Joey Bosa Killed Us Today!

“When I see you at the gym this offseason... don’t talk to me.” Lol -
It’s really perfect for him. Big wealthy program underperforming in a state with a ton of talent and where he has existing relationships with high school coaches. Plus, part of the rumor mill is that Texas is about to seriously open the pocketbook. Also, the other job he’d want is ND, and it doesn’t look like that will be available anytime soon. USC has been talked about too but that job doesn’t seem as attractive to Urban for whatever reason (Shelly?). I just hope he doesn’t take Pantoni and Coach Mick from Ohio State.

Is there a minimum number of games they need to play in order to qualify for the CFP?
