  1. I’d love to see Ruckert back for his senior year. I can’t help but think OSU didn’t make the most of his talents (a longstanding issue with tight ends that was supposed to change with Ruck) even with the iconic one handed catches against Wisconsin and others. Agree with all of this. Seems to me that Fields is every bit the QB that Deshaun Watson is.
  2. Even with poor first half stats last night, Fields looks solid to me and more NFL ready than Haskins did when he left.
  3. Congrats to Bama who is as good as advertised. Just devastating. The Buckeyes make big plays and it’s awesome and exciting and too much for just about any team, but Saban just drives that tractor up and down the field and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Didn’t matter who was in or out tonight; Bama out played OSU, out coached OSU, and is a more than worthy champion. 13-0 is incredible in any season, but especially in this remarkable season. As for the Buckeyes, as I’ve mentioned, I thought there would be no football this year and that the last pass Justin Fields would throw as a Buckeye would be an interception against Clemson. It’s amazing that they fought their own conference, cobbled a season together, won the B1G, avenged losses to Clemson, and played for the natty. It’s a painful loss for a lot of different reasons, but this was a very entertaining season and Ohio State football has given me a great distraction from everything else going on in the world. And for that, I say How Firm Thy Friendship and Go Bucks. We’re on to Baltimore.
  4. @BillfromNYC congrats on a great game, an unbelievable season, and another championship.
  5. I still can't believe OSU went from no season in September to playing Alabama in January for a natty. I'm nervous but very confident that the Bucks will go hard tonight. Just an incredible opportunity.
  6. I was hoping OL would stay intact.
  7. Good morning Buckeyes!!
  8. Looks like no Miyann Williams, which is too bad for him and the team. He’s been running hard the past couple of games.
  9. Once upon a time getting robbed of a turnover like that at the end of a game would have broken the Bills.
  10. TUN is a mess.
  11. It's going to be a battle up front!
  12. Lol
  13. Okay, let’s do this.
  14. Poor Coach Saban wants absolutely no part of this and his daughter is just being an emotionally invested fan. I almost feel bad for them!
  15. How old was she when Ohio State showed up down south with a third-string QB?
  16. Next man up. Babtiste looked okay out there. I guess leave Hilliard at LB and give Browning more work at end? Someone please move Garrett and Cooper to a secure location. LJ has his work cut out for him.
  17. Amazing letter! The Diggs/Josh stuff is awesome. The bit about Wood passing the torch, talking about the culture, talking about finishing the job the vets started... I felt that. "We thrive together" captures in a positive way how I feel about this team that takes a part of me onto the field with them each week. I'm so pumped for Saturday. All the guardrails I normally put up for myself year after year to avoid more heartbreak are completely down. I believe in this team and I believe in miracles. LFG.
  18. Any word on whether Harrison and Friday are available for Monday?
  19. Nevada has a long track record. This blows. Delay the game. Put the teams in a bubble, let Fields and Waddle get healthy, and let's see these teams at full strength.
  20. Everything I've seen online about this traces back to rumors on an Alabama message board. Have any of the regular OSU beat reporters confirmed? The D line had cases heading into the Sugar Bowl so this is likely part of that spread, assuming it's true.
  21. I'm more interested in what happens with Waddle in 2020 than in 2021 as rumors are swirling about his return for the national championship game next week! Also, I agree with the above comments about staying in school versus coming out early. Programs owe it to their athletes to provide a well-researched and candid assessment of their likely draft position and a honest recommendation about whether they should stay or go. It's fun when good player comes back for another year of skill development and leadership, and their draft position improves as a result. It's also important to be able to say goodbye to a top-five or top-ten pick and let them go make their well-earned money. Bama does this as well as any school, which I think is a big reason why top recruits are lined up to go there.
  22. Which board do you subscribe to? Scoop? Bucknuts?
  23. My son tells me those are Travis Scott x Jordan VIs and are straight fire like his long ball.
  24. Rogers starting out 10/10 150yds 3TDs... that’s tough.
