  1. That's a bummer. They served an excellent BoW at that place in my opinion
  2. Less and less every year....with the Bills being as relevant as they are this year that might change though
  3. Bar Bill Tavern Judi's Lounge in Niagara Falls Mister Dee's in Cheektowaga but from what I've heard I'm not sure they are still open right now Charlie The Butcher
  4. Back when the Bills were going to the Super Bowls in the 90s did people sit around in bars and compare those teams to the 64 and 65 Bills teams?
  5. Thurman's net worth wouldn't even be close. He played in the wrong era for having these kind of opportunities. You would really need to be making Josh Allen kinda money to even consider buying a share of a sports team.
  6. The original Ninja Turtles movie still holds up extremely well
  7. Yeah and God told Charles Barkley he wanted him to win a championship and look at how that turned out
  8. You can't be a Paper Tiger when you are two years removed from taking home the hardware
  9. This 100%....I still can't believe how much misinterpretation many fans had over their plans for Allen in year one. Same thing with the fans losing their minds with who we had at WR in the early McBeane years and thinking McDermott wanted to primarily just run the ball. It was clear they were building this thing from the ground up from day one and the team was going to evolve over time. With that said I never thought the offense would look this good!
  10. Since the Things That Didn't Age Well thread was a lot of fun and got a ton of replies....I figured we should look at the flip side of this and list things that are still amazing all these years later. I know in the other thread somebody already mentioned The Three Stooges. I'm going to kick things off with the early years Simpsons(about the first 9-10 seasons) FXX has been showing a lot of the really early season episodes the last few nights and it had been awhile since I've watched any of those and I had a ton of great laughs. One of the funniest shows of all-time(not counting when it fell off a cliff after the first decade) and those episodes still hold up very well to this day.
  11. Cool thanks, will definitely be checking that one out very soon As for my contribution to this thread The Woodstock 99 Doc on HBO Max was pretty wild. I remember what a big deal that fest was back then and nobody ever really talks about it now but the Doc brings you back to those days including some snippets of Napster, the MTV Boy Band v.s. Nu Metal wars, the Clinton Lewinsky thing..it's all there
  12. Diet Pop is disgusting IMO. I know regular pop is bad for you and I don't drink it often but it's hard to turn down an ice cold soda in the Summertime once in awhile. My theory is stay away from Pop in general the majority of the time but if your gonna splurge once in awhile it may as well be for the real stuff.
  13. Is that out already? I thought that wasn't coming out until the Fall
  14. I was thinking more Favre like. I used to love watching the footage of him mic'd up and just having a blast out there
  15. It's a pretty interesting look back at an interesting time in life. It's on HBO Max right now but I would imagine it will be available on other platforms as well over time As a kid those Looney Tunes TV Dinners were fine dining
  16. When seeing the highlights after the Bills made the incredible comeback in this game on the old NFL Films videos to me this was always the absolute craziest I've ever seen the stadium look. Looked even crazier than the playoff games, greatest comeback game etc.
  17. Have you seen the documentary on Woodstock 99 yet? What an interesting time 1999 was
  18. He was a hell of a football player and nothing but first class as a human being. One of my absolute favorite non-Bills players over the years. It was a pleasure watching him get inducted last night.
  19. Thank you so much for sharing this, I love Nostalgic blasts from the past like this and already can't wait to get home from work today so I can watch it!
  20. Sadly I think your right. Although I'm not a fan I was listening to Mike Schopp on WGR one time and he did hit the nail on the head with this one when he said "You just wish sports could always look and feel the same way they did when you were 12 years old"
