  1. Somebody that I never followed or didn't pay any attention to and I saw the news yesterday and didn't think too much of it but I just saw this today and it legitimately made me feel sad and some pain. Life is too short and doesn't usually end pretty
  2. You could be on to something there...I was also thinking less things to complain about?
  3. Is it just me or does it feel like a lot of long time posters are falling off and disappearing? Kinda weird timing with the state of the Bills and even the Sabres right now
  4. You didn't see Bills Elvis give up his season tickets during the Bills 17 year playoff drought
  5. I don't care if you are a fan of a different hockey team or if you don't like hockey but any supposed "Diehard" Bills fan on here talking S*** about the Sabres can F*** Right Off! The Sabres are a huge part of the fabric to WNY and have their place in the Western New York community.
  6. Donnie Meatballs has these boys Trusting the Process!!!
  7. Not to mention they are currently competing with a Bills ticket market where people are shelling out major bucks on the secondary market to be at these games. The last time the Sabres were relevant they weren't competing with a scorching hot Bills Super Bowl contending team. Because of that even if the Sabres look like a legit playoff team down the stretch I still can't see the arena selling out night after night and a waiting list demand for season tickets next year. They are going to be playing second fiddle to the Bills for awhile.
  8. Where did they sit? Where did they tailgate? The Green Bay fans I met and talked to at the game were all having a blast. Sorry your friends had a bad experience!
  9. Sean McDermott was an all state safety for his high school team..maybe we could throw him back there for a few games
  10. I met a ton of fans from Green Bay/Milwaukee and even some up from Wyoming yesterday and everybody was just having a friggin blast! One guy even said "I used to think the greatest place on earth was Lambeau but this place f***king blows it away!" It was great to see so many people in town and enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was top notch yesterday. I do an annual road game trip with my buddies and I joke around with them and say sometimes I wish we weren't from Buffalo because that would be the Number one football trip I would want to do.
  11. Del Reid is a great guy. I know there is a "weird" side to the whole Bills Mafia thing but I wouldn't equate any of that Shenanigans to him
  12. I was just talking about that game with a co-worker of mine this week in the context of look how far we've come by comparing how back then that was considered a BIG game for the Bills. At the time probably one of the biggest wins since the last time they were in the playoffs. Now winning a game like that is just the expectation and a BIG game for these current Bills would be AFC Championships and playing in the Super Bowl. It's amazing how far along this organization has come.
  13. I remember how many fans were butt hurt when Beane and Mcdermott came in here and shipped him out.......We ended up with the better 14 by far!
  14. Just caught a couple of the classic Simpsons treehouse of horror episodes last night as I was falling asleep. I forgot how good those were! Gonna have to watch a few more of those before Halloween is over.
  15. I'm not disputing that but I'm just saying it would still be a MAJOR deal around here if Buffalo won the Super Bowl. A good analogy would be in my opinion the Bills winning the Super Bowl would be a much bigger deal in Buffalo than say Pittsburgh winning a Super Bowl in 2022 v.s. the 70s or even early 2000s.
  16. This might be true from a societal perspective overall(I think many would agree the NFL was in it's prime during the 70s-90s)but I don't think that's true from the perspective of Western New York. I'm a local and it's Bills all the time, everyday, everywhere you go. Drive through any neighborhood in WNY right now and you will see Bills flags, yard signs etc...driving on the thruway you see Bills decals on every other car, go to the local grocery store and everybody is decked out in Bills gear. It's all people are talking about. Winning the Super Bowl would absolutely carry it's weight in Western New York.
  17. You would be doing yourself a huge disservice going to a Bills home game(primetime at that) and grabbing food from a food truck instead of wandering the lots and meeting Bills fans and getting treated to authentic tailgates.
  18. Old school fullback right there, they don't make em like that anymore. Best wishes to Sam
  19. Favre started off as an amazing leader in his early playing days but as his career took off it seemed like he developed a big ego and his personality completely changed and he wasn't the same person during his later years. It's funny speaking of Favre though I remember watching an electric tough as nails Favre in his prime years and wishing so bad the Bills had a QB like that...25 years later here we are!
  20. RIP Coach...the memories from that era will live on forever
  21. How much does that cost to subscribe to?
  22. Wait..your last name is Dingus? Seriously?
  23. Halloween week is upon us....anybody have any Halloween specials they were really into as a kid or ones that still try to watch today? I grew up in the 90s so the Roseanne and Home Improvement Halloween episodes were always pretty solid. Simpsons Treehouse of Horror were fantastic in the heyday of the show. I'm gonna try to watch some Halloween shows this week to get into the spirit so just curious what everybody else was into.
