Of course I want to see the Bills in the Super Bowl but at the halfway point they have just been way too inconsistent and the injuries aren't helping either so as of now I'd be surprised if they got there this year... I think it's so hard to go to back to back Super Bowls so I don't think KC gets back this year and Cincy hasn't been the same team this year so right now I'm gonna go with Baltimore because Lamar is playing the best football he's ever played in his career. For the NFC, I know they have just lost a couple games but I still think San Francisco gets back on track and it's their spot to lose this season. So at the halfway point....I'm going with a Bal-SF rematch with SF winning it all this time

I'm really trying to be optimistic about making the playoffs this season but we are losing way too many games early in the schedule. I'm afraid it's going to come back and haunt us. Although sloppy at least it was an entertaining game compared to what those games against New Jersey are usually like.

The problem is being a Sports Announcer is one of those things where you either have "IT" or you don't. You can't fake it. Van Miller had IT. Rick Jeanerett had IT. Brown feels like a caricature of guys like that.

I had always heard the mention of the ancient burial ground but never knew how legitimate it was or if it was just an old wise tale but I did the Bills stadium tour over the Summer and the last thing they showed us was the cemetery with the quick backstory so it was def interesting to see it in person and know that it's true.

I don't listen to the radio broadcasts but they play some of the highlights on WGR in the morning and today they played his call after the Ed Oliver sack "RIDE EM COWBOY" It's just turning into comedy relief for me at this point

I agree part of the NFL is overcoming injuries....but the problems on Offense have nothing to do with injuries. Defensively I think they deserve a pass because losing Daquan, Milano, Tre indefinitely and then not having guys like Rousseau and Oliver at spurts are truly significant losses. I can't be mad at the Defense for slipping with how much of the talent has been lost already. I mean the team still has to go Next Man Up and do everything they can to prepare guys to step in and do the role the best they can....but as a fan I'm not going to sit here and criticize the Defense for underperforming

As much as I don't want to believe this, I'm starting to think there might be some truth to it. That's what the rumors about the rift with Diggs were about* and as much as I want to dismiss it, it makes you wonder. *Note for those who aren't aware: Over the Summer there was a poster who said he knows one of Diggs cousins or something like that and said there was a rift between Allen where they weren't speaking to each other and Diggs was frustrated because Allen doesn't put the work in over the offseason and his focus seems elsewhere. This guy posted all of this stuff before the big blow out in the media after Diggs didn't practice Day 1 of Mini Camp.

I agree with this. That so many Bills fans claim that season as our "Super Bowl season" feels kind of alarming to me lol.

Regarding Point #2) I commented on the same thing today watching with my buddies. I mentioned how I think Josh is far more athletically talented than Kelly ever was but you would never see Kelly sitting there, moping on the bench with a deer in the headlights look that is starting to become all too common with Allen lately. I don't get it, I'm not sure where the fire has gone

Although I still think there's other issues at play here(playcalling, scheming, personnel, etc. ) I definitely agree with this. It's a completely different ballgame when you are a young team on the rise after being a dumpster fire for 17 years, everything is all roses and gravy and I'm sure the atmosphere felt very fun for the players. But now after too many disappointments and the years going by with early exits in the playoffs, the pressure begins to mount. Expectations rise...it does feel like this is a team that really struggles with pressure and expectations. It just doesn't look like they play with a real confidence anymore even though they still say all the right things in press conferences.
