That sounds like some nice family memories. This sparked a memory from my childhood New Year's Eves with my family. Our parents would bring out the sleeper sofa mattress in the living room and let us stay up late watching Casey Kasem's Nick at Nite New Year's Eve countdown..does anybody remember that!? Honestly I probably look back at those times much fonder than when I was at the age where I could go out to parties and bars for NYE Happy New Year's to all of the Off the Wall posters on here. May 2025 bring everybody many blessings..and maybe a Lombardi trophy to Western New York -
I'm with you guys. I know I'm in the minority as well so I don't post about it but the moment felt a bit anti-climatic to me. During the drought years I always envisioned a big home game celebration like the tearing down of the goalposts in 88(probably not literally tearing down the goalposts because of how strict modern times are..but at least talk about doing it lol) but it was so weird backing into the playoffs off the result of another game. It would have been incredible if it was the Josh Allen team finally breaking the drought but I can't complain, what we have been treated to is amazing. I was in Pittsburgh in 2019 for SNF when we beat the Steelers to clinch our playoff birth and that was amazing and I think for me personally that stands out more than breaking the drought by watching a Bengals win. With that said I certainly understand the enormity of breaking the playoff drought and why it was so exciting for everyone. And certainly was happy for players like Eric Wood and Kyle Williams.

Wild Card date and time (rumor/speculation)
BillsPride12 replied to SectionC3's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I was just clowning around, not trying to give you a hard time. I agree that I would have expected us to play on Saturday(probably afternoon though, not at night) -
Technically Moulds wouldn't count. He was on some playoff Bills teams

Do you want the Bills to win this week?
BillsPride12 replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
One thing I haven't heard anybody talking about this week is I don't think the Bills have ever won 14 games in a regular season before? Yeah I know they added a game so that might lose some of it's luster and in the grand scheme of things it's a meaningless game but I would really love to see us set a new franchise record for wins in a regular season. I remember the days it used to take us 3 or 4 years to win 14 games. -

Had a wedding for a friend last NYE. Was actually a good time. Def felt it the next day though. Looking forward to a lowkey night in this year -
Although I agree with you 100% and always say the same thing when the playoffs roll around...it's completely understandable people don't want to see us have to go through a gauntlet of Cincy, Baltimore and then Kansas City at Arrowhead. Especially when the Chiefs path is going to be BYE, either Pitt/Houston and then home for AFCCG With that said I think it's highly unlikely Cincy sneaks in

Dude you've gotta make it to a game before next season is over -
I think the general consensus is this is the most overrated holiday of the year. I wholeheartedly agree with that, even in my younger years when going out was the rage I remember having a bunch of duds for nights out on NYE. I'm so glad I am at an age where it is socially acceptable to stay home and be asleep on the couch before the ball drops. Just curious if anybody has any really awesome memories or stories from New Year's

I think it will be Denver but would much prefer Miami. Not that I think we would lose to Denver but I think with that Defense they will be a tougher out than a Miami team who we already know hates playing in cold weather.
-
I would be fine with the Chiefs because of the magnitude of that game But if you want to look at it historically Miami would be pretty fitting

Excellent home slate for the Grand Finale season at Highmark The road game schedule isn't too exciting for fans that like to travel

Most Memorable Opening Movie Scenes
BillsPride12 replied to ICanSleepWhenI'mDead's topic in Off the Wall
Cool topic. I need some time to think about my answers for this one First ones that come to mind are Goodfellas and Dazed and Confused -
Yeah for that 07 Giants game I wore my old school 90s Starter jacket which overall you won't find a better jacket to deal with the elements than those bad boys but somehow the freezing rain/sleet actually froze to my jacket. It was pretty wild...and also miserable as the Giants manhandled Buffalo all day

Not sure how I would rank these so mine is in no official order but these are definitely the Top 4 2007- Giants at Bills Freezing rain game 2007 Bills at Browns Whiteout Game 2021 Patriots at Bills MNF Wind Game 2021 Patriots at Bills Sub Below Temperature Was thinking about this topic earlier from some discussion I saw on Twitter and after careful thought these would be my Top 4 but then I thought about how it was interesting how each pair came from the same season and relatively close to each other. The Giants and Browns games were back to back weeks.
