  1. Already gave my top 3 but honorable mention for Adventureland
  2. Fasten your seatbelts, in for a hell of a ride the next few months. This team will be pushing for the final playoff spot!
  3. Hard to say. To be fair to McDermott this is NOT a Super Bowl roster in my opinion. Both lines need to be completely revamped, need to add at least one more playmaker on offense.
  4. Reminds me of a quote from my little league football coach as a kid after a really bad loss...."Well we did one thing good today...we lost as a team"
  5. Now we know why that NFL Scout asked Eli Apple if he prefers the company of men...dude is clearly trying to over compensate for something
  6. You lost me at "this was a really fun season"
  7. You say the Bills are like the 90s Packers and then just do a QB comparison. Those Green Bay teams were stacked with so much more talent than what we have right now. Most importantly like with most Championship teams they were strong in the trenches on both sides of the ball. We are really lacking in that department. Not the greatest comparison IMO
  8. Yes typo on my part, my apologies. Did not get much sleep last night haha
  9. Does anybody remember the Boxer from Buffalo, Baby Joe Messi? He made a little bit of noise in the early 2000s but never went too far in his career. But I remember he started using the nickname "The Third Buffalo Franchise" it was at a time when both the Bills and Sabres were horrible so that drew a lot of punchlines 😄 But I'm thinking with the state of both organizations and how much success Jessie is having maybe it's time to bring back that moniker?? This time around feels much more fitting!
  10. Way to go Jessie! Let's Go Buffao!!!
  11. I still remember on ESPN Sunday Countdown(back when it was still watchable) sometime in the early 2000's they were doing a piece on TO and asked him to list his 3 top receivers in the NFL and he said Moss, Harrison, and Moulds and said Moulds was super underrated in the league. Thought that was really cool because that was at a time when no Bills players were getting any respect at the National level.
  12. I had a buddy who was running a restaurant back then. He was running a Super Bowl pool for SB25 and Norwood's missed kick allowed his Dad to win $5K. His Dad was still rooting for the Bills to win the Super Bowl even though he had that riding on the missed kick. My buddy said he never seen somebody so pissed to win $5000 in his life before 😆
  13. Lose all your money betting on the Bills to win those Super Bowls?
  14. But at least on the bright side you were banging Carol Lambert around that time period
  15. I was super young during the Super Bowl losses, elementary school age and those are some of my earliest life memories. I remember all of the Euphoria surrounding the whole thing, the crazy neighborhood parties, the huge pep rallies at school leading up to the Super Bowl weekend. I thought the Bills were destined to win some of those Super Bowls. I thought for sure the Bills would make it back someday! I mean why wouldn't I!? At that point in life I was a youthful optimist who only knew of the Bills going to the big dance and good times in life. Then the drought came and then life came along next. All of a sudden those were just memories of a Magical time that felt more like something I dreamt about so many years ago. Who would've thought it would take nearly 3 decades for the Bills to become relevant again?? I guess those Super Bowl losses taught me that time is really Fleeting and nothing lasts forever. They taught me to savor the good times in life because you never know when they will come back around again. They taught me about resiliency and to never, never, never give up in life. They taught me about loyalty and staying true to your team and your city even when things aren't looking so good. They taught me as a kid who was born and raised in WNY there would never be a sports team I could identify with more than the Buffalo Bills
  16. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/19/sports/football/buffalo-bills-fans-parents-kids.html This is a fun read for those of us who grew up during the Super Bowl years. There might be a paywall but I was able to read the entire article on my phone....it says you can sign up for a free account? Feel free to add your own lessons learned from the Super Bowl losses in this thread
  17. Nice win tonight. Go Sabres! Millertime!
  18. Dazed and Confused Almost Famous Forrest Gump
  19. There's a lot of good ones but the ones that stand out to me: Shawshank Redemption Stand By Me Almost Famous
  20. Led Zeppelin
  21. Yes that's good perspective! I feel like even if we don't make it to the Super Bowl this year we are close to getting back to the big dance. This has just been such a draining and challenging season, I just feel like the pieces might not be in place to do it this year but they have also shown me this group does have the heart of a champion and I still believe they will get back soon.
  22. Then look what happened
  23. 50/50 I can see it going either way and probably going down to the last drive of the game
