  1. Things that stand out to me: -Turkey Bowl football games in the morning(if there was Snow it was a Bonus) -One of my best friends from childhood had Family in Ohio and they always went there for Thanksgiving; as a kid I was always jealous because it seemed exciting lol but then by the time we were in middle school we had gotten into fireworks and those Ohio thanksgiving trips took on a whole new meaning as he could bring me back some bottle rockets and firecrackers to NY -After the Thanksgiving dinner had wrapped up, my Grandmother(RIP) bringing out the Sears and JC Penny Christmas catalogs and asking the kids to circle the items we wanted for Christmas that year; it was awesome knowing at that time Christmas was officially on! -I was a WWF fanatic as a kid so watching Survivor Series(which took place on Thanksgiving night or Thanksgiving Eve back then) was a must
  2. Happy Turkey Day to all you Bills fans! And yes I agree it does feel nice to be able to enjoy the Holiday with no Bills game on today. For years I was always disappointed the Bills would never get selected to play on Thanksgiving and thought about how much fun it would be to get to experience a Thanksgiving Bills game but I never expected we would get put on Turkey Day 3 out of 4 years in a row...that was just overkill
  3. I'm wondering if they lost some Major $$$$ at the Casino and this turned into a Suicide mission...wouldn't be the first time that has happened there
  4. Wasn't there talk/rumors of Miami trying to make a play for Barry Sanders towards the end of Marino's career? I don't remember the details now but have a vague memory of this. Glad he never went there lol
  5. "We take it Mitchell won't be invited to the next Lions reunion" 🤣🤣🤣
  6. I never thought of it like that before but an edgier version of Seinfeld set in Philadelphia is the perfect analogy for that show
  7. I have been looking forward to this for awhile, can't wait to watch over the Holiday break.
  8. It's gotta be the haircut
  9. Was at the game and when they showed Josh on the Jumbotron during the National Anthem with the fresh cut I couldn't help but blurt out "JOSH GOT A HAIRCUT...IT's ON"
  10. Gotta switch it up. But I'm also a foodie that loves trying different things. Variety is the spice of life.
  11. Wow the drought was such a blur and it's not something I try to reflect back on too often I had forgotten that Broncos game, Cowboys game, the NE beatdown and the 8-0 disaster in Cleveland were all in the same season. Throw in that Giants game in the freezing rain at the end of the year too. 2004 was my favorite drought year but 07 might be the worst one of them.
  12. Sal was all fired up about this on WGR this morning...as soon as I heard about this story last night I knew that was coming lol
  13. As much as I find these Chicago Bulls basketball analogies silly I find the threads equally enjoyable because of how much fun those teams were Do we have a Jud Buechler on this roster!?
  14. That really was a heartbreaking loss. After the 6 game winning streak and the way things were falling into place, Bills fans were really starting to Billieve the drought was coming to an end. I remember the atmosphere at the stadium was pretty wild that day but there were soooo many Steelers fans there. Gut punching loss but I got a nice taste of revenge going to Pittsburgh in 2019 when we beat them to clinch a playoff spot and pretty much knock them out and so many Bills fans traveled there that day.
  15. That was my favorite team during the drought years..yeah I know not saying much...but for a little while there was a little glimmer of hope. We had a pretty awesome Defense for that time just missing the true beast Pass Rusher(with all due respect to Schobel). The cheeseburger thing was so funny and random, kinda just popped into my head today hence the post. Truth is we beat up on a lot of bad teams during that 6 game winning streak but so what it was a lot of fun at the time lol. I was at both the Jags opening day and Steelers season finale losses...just brutal. One of the more interesting seasons in Bills history in my opinion.
  16. We need a miraculous late season 6 game winning streak and there's only one man for this job....The real ones know
  17. Agreed! Most people cite 2021 and the 13 seconds game as the peak and the beginning of the regression but they already took a step backwards in 2021 from how they looked in 2020. We are going on 3 years of going backwards now. To me that is a big enough sample size to know this isn't a fluke and it is time to blow it up.
  18. DIGGS IS NOT THE PROBLEM
  19. Looking like there is going to be no playoffs at all in Buffalo this year
  20. Sure they were 7-6 that year and dealt with their own struggles that season but let's face it they never looked like this at any point. This is a team that's truly broken right now. If they can't beat teams like the Patriots and Broncos I have no expectations of them beating teams like Philly, KC, Dallas
  21. The Sox and Cubs were absolutely right there with us before they broke through and Won their recent championships. Maybe the Browns but I don't know if they have as many legendary heartbreaking moments as Us or the Sox, Cubs as much as they just usually suck
  22. I was listening to One Bills Live at work today and Thurman Thomas was on there and Chris Brown asked him what those guys used to do to get out of a funk back in the day and he said something along the lines of Partying it up at Jim's house 🤣🤣 🤣 Yeah they could never win the big one but still such a legendary team!
  23. A lot of it is going to depend on the state of the team come 2026 IMO...we are just coming off a period where interest in the Bills has been sky high after finally coming out of the drought thinking we have one of the top 2-3 Quarterback's in the NFL and reaching the AFC Championship game in 2020 and expecting to make a Super Bowl run. But it already feels like the momentum is crashing hard, I had trouble even giving away a couple of my season tickets to these night games this year and know a lot of other people that had the same problem. I mean yeah of course WNY loves the Bills but as far as shelling out crazy amounts of $$$ on tickets etc. that can only be sustained for so long. Anytime there is a crazy high, it is going to be followed by a crash and burn. Look at the end of the Bills Super Bowl runs when they were having trouble selling out home playoff games.
