  1. Anybody have any good restaurant recommendations near camp? I was going to check out the Pittsford Pub but the reviews online were pretty bad
  2. Thanks for the heads up....long day at work and I forgot to grab my tickets today but just jumped on it! I'll be there July 24th, can't believe how close we are getting already.
  3. There's an old saying Game recognizes game. There's nothing wrong that these two have the utmost respect for each other.
  4. RIP Paulie Walnuts. One of the all-time great supporting characters on a TV show "You're not gonna believe this. He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator"
  5. Dude give Golf a chance! Many of us avid golfers would kill to be in your position lol
  6. Yeah I remember talking about it with people on this board when the 30 for 30 was getting released. I was excited for it and looking forward to it but was also saying after that we need to put a nail in the coffin and bury the 90s Super Bowl years Nostalgia. Many people agreed and seemed to be at that point as well. I think around then is when it started dying down a little bit but it was still there. Once the 2020 season happened and Allen broke out I think the 90s era was officially buried and for the first time since the drought started people became wrapped up in living in the present finally. It still feels pretty glorious lol
  7. I get it and that's true to an extent but it pretty much never reaches Summer temps in November in Buffalo
  8. Buffalo has never seen 105 degrees in August let alone November
  9. This is a fair take in my opinion....and this is coming from someone who probably wouldn't be as diehard of a Bills fan today without the influence of that era. It was just BEATEN to death over the next 25 years. Thank God for Allen/McDermott/Beane and company because I don't know how much more "Nostalgia" we could've squeezed out of that era if those guys came never came along and we continued to suck. Even before that run I know a lot of people were reaching a breaking point on the 90s Nostalgia. With that said now that those guys are taking more of a background seat and just playing the role of being Bills fans to the new guys I don't mind that.
  10. This is a horrible take...the only thing you got right was the horseradish!
  11. I just watched it. Wasn't bad by any means and had a few good laughs but as I was expecting that style of humor just feels dated in my opinion. Was absolutely great for Nostalgia though.
  12. That's fair, I mean there's no denying Steve Young was a better QB than Reich but I guess I wasn't really considered backup QB's who went on to have very successful career's as a Starter.
  13. Reich might be the GOAT Backup QB Sadly I remember that beatdown we got. That was the game going into it Pat Williams said Priest Holmes wouldn't rush for more than 50 yards But what really caught my attention in this post was what a time capsule that is. 2003 doesn't feel THAT long ago, at least to me, yet we are still talking VCR's and a time before everybody had the internet and streaming capabilities on their cell phones to catch games/highlights/tweets when out of town.
  14. As a WNY Golfer I can honestly say the golf courses in the Rochester area blow away the courses in the Buffalo area so there's that My take: The movie The Usual Suspects is very overrated
  15. Seinfeld is on Netflix. I occasionally watch some episodes here and there but like I said in my original post I haven't seen the Finale in like 20 years before today. They were never episodes I would have gone out of my way to put on but just stumbled upon it today. Definitely not like other episodes where you would re-watch them over and over but I feel like it worked as a Finale if that makes any sense.
  16. I was just lounging out channel surfing a little bit ago and came across the Seinfeld Series Finale on Comedy Central. I probably haven't seen those episodes in about 20 years even though I still like watching Seinfeld reruns. I remember at the time it being very polarizing where you either loved it or hated it. I always liked it and still felt that way after watching it again, I liked the way they brought everybody back. Not their best work ever but I never understood the hate some people had for the way they ended it. I've seen much worse from other shows over the years.
  17. I get Goosebumps when I think about how awesome the NFL was back then!
  18. A lot of people are suggesting great WNY things that have nothing to do with the Bills To answer the OP's question it's a must to stop in the Big Tree Inn for some drinks and wings. Historic little dive bar on the corner of Abbott right by where the stadium is. There's some pretty cool Bills memorabilia hanging in the bar and it's important to keep in mind that is the infamous watering hole of a lot of the players and legends themselves. Plus the atmosphere in there is always a blast.
  19. Good series. The Sabres are heading in the right direction but still a long way to go
  20. Haven't been to the Gate in a couple years but in my original post I was referring to Bar-Bill opening up a second location and selling all of their sauces at grocery stores and doing more advertising now. Seems like they are losing sight of the Mom and Pop shop aspect. I haven't noticed this with Gabriel's Gate yet.
