Commercials suck nowadays

I've always wondered how things would've shaken out if there was the traditional two week break between the Championship game and Super Bowl. There's no doubt the Bills were riding the high of the 51-3 thrashing of the Raiders in the AFC Championship game all week. I wonder if there was the extra week off that by the second week they would've turned things down a notch and started to focus more on the Giants.

Going into the season winning the Super Bowl was absolutely my expectation...but the insane amount of injuries they have been dealt has thrown a wrench into that. If they can ever get close to full strength again I expect them be competing for the whole thing but if the injuries just remain a constant I'm not going to fault them if they can't get it done this year. It's been extremely frustrating nonetheless.

Oh I never did either but I know it used to an event. I always thought it was ridiculous but it's also kinda sad to see society trending towards less human interaction.

Is Black Friday insanity still a thing? I was under the impression it's really died down over the years due to all of the online shopping nowadays

This is not good. The offensive line has already been a liability this season. We cannot afford these injuries to Dion and Mitch. Spencer Brown has been getting abused all season(something I was not expecting coming into this season after a very impressive rookie campaign).

On top of the legal stuff that was interesting...the 90s pop culture/Nostalgia stuff is always fun. It made me think of how much more fun commercials used to be than they are now.

Although I agree it was stretched out longer than it needed to be I thought it was a pretty interesting story and out of the ordinary so figured I would throw it out here on the boards. The two guys both seemed to be pretty decent guys and had cool personalities, like I referenced in my original post I would like to see more Docs on regular Joe's as long as the story is interesting

I've never had any terrible Thanksgivings but there were a few when I was younger where I was pretty out of it from being out all night the night before and I just slept through the day. I didn't think much of it at the time but now I look back at it and look at those as wasted Thanksgivings now that both of my grandparents who would always be at my parents house on Thanksgiving are gone, if I could go back in time I would have rather gotten a couple more quality Thanksgivings in with them than a couple random nights out but unfortunately a lot of times we don't gain that perspective on life until it's too late.

Has anybody seen this yet? The story about John Leonard and his buddy Todd Hoffman's battle with Pepsi over a Harrier Jet. Apparently this was a major news story in the 90s but I really had no recollection of it but I also didn't watch the news much in the 90s. Was this really that big of a story at the time? I thought the Documentary was pretty cool and hope Documentaries start trending this way about more everyday people than just celebrities and professional athletes. The Sabres entire broadcast program used to be top notch A+ material from RJ and Jim Lorentz calling the game to Hockey Hotline afterwards with Mike Robitaille and Brian Blessing. I miss those days so much
