The first show that jumps out to me is Freaks and Geeks. That show was amazing. I have no idea how it didn't make it past 1 season As a kid I remember being really into the cartoon Duckman but it never really took off like the Simpsons or Family Guy. There's probably tons of cartoons like that out there that never really took off

In some ways sure but there are a lot of problems in modern society. The economy sucks, inflation is squeezing out the middle class. Social media has poisoned the way people think. People are brainwashed by politics. The world has never been more divided. There are absolutely legitimate things going on out there contributing to the decline of this society. I agree with what your saying about people feeling like they have no purpose and lacking strong family values but that comes from some of the stuff I mentioned above. Are there some lazy people out there milking the system? Yes of course. Do I know hard working people that can't get ahead because they are buried in student loan debt and they can barely afford to pay their rent? Absolutely. I get the point you are trying to make but to say life has never been easier isn't fair to so many people.

It's sad in a lot of ways we have really gone backwards as a society. Although I don't know what the motivation was behind this most recent shooting was so I won't speculate on this case in particular but speaking more from a general standpoint...we are living in a Country where people are really struggling on a daily basis. People are just not well mentally. We make this world as difficult as we possibly can on people and then we wonder why so many people are struggling with their mental health. Without even getting into the gun control debate, we have to accept that we have a mental health epidemic in this Country and changes are drastically needed. Has anybody ever seen the movie Falling Down from 1992? Now take that and multiply it by 1000 the way the world has evolved since then.

Tiger is right there with MJ and Tom Brady on the Mt. Rushmore of athletes with the greatest mental advantage. If Josh can learn a thing or two from being around Tiger I'm all for it

I doubt they would do another Bills-Lions Thanksgiving game so soon after just having one. The Lions are going to be a big draw currently no matter who they play.

I don't anticipate that happening. I think the Bills are aware they have very good uniforms currently. Much better than the previous ones they had.

The craziest part about the Chiefs right now is these last couple years were supposed to be their "retooling" years and then they go out and win back to back Super Bowls. Insane

Exactly. It's the same analogy as the 90s Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks. Until we can prove otherwise this iteration of the Buffalo Bills is the B team to the Championship teams

And the funny thing is we actually end up getting to host KC in the playoffs this year and it still didn't matter

When did I say the Chiefs offense had an incredible night last night? They struggled against a great San Francisco Defense in the first half but then went out and made the plays when they needed to in the 2nd half. You don't think our Offense would've struggled against that 49er Defense last night too? Well I've got some bad news for you...

I'm sure they were. It was KC's 21st game of the season and the 20th game of the season for the Niners. It's such a long and grinding season and I think it shows by the time you get this far. I was cracking up at all of the posts I was reading on Twitter where people were saying how the Bills would've beat both teams. It's not like the Bills would have miraculously looked fresh as a daisy themselves if they made it this far.

If they would have lost the game this would have been a huge deal and a major talking point on all the talk shows tomorrow but since they won this will be forgotten about pretty quickly.

I think that's what makes Bills fans "special" at the professional sports level...they have a fanbase more representative of a College town fanbase.

Not crapped on by me. It blows my mind how many Bills fans out there think we have a better roster from top to bottom than the Chiefs do. Makes me wonder what games these people are watching LOL

I agree with this take and have been saying it for awhile. Beane has built a very good football team no doubt, the best we have seen here in Buffalo since Bill Polian and the Super Bowl teams but in my opinion he has not built a true Super Bowl caliber roster yet. Way too many Bills fans place all of the blame on injuries and bad McDermott decisions(which there have been some of those too) but I've always felt like the overall rosters we have been rolling with in this era are one level below a truly dominant championship team. Failing to surround Allen with more explosive weapons and failing to build a dominant pass rush on the Defensive side of the ball have been my biggest issues with Beane. I mean he has certainly tried to address those things but he has whiffed over and over again.

Early 2000s
