I was super young during the Super Bowl losses, elementary school age and those are some of my earliest life memories. I remember all of the Euphoria surrounding the whole thing, the crazy neighborhood parties, the huge pep rallies at school leading up to the Super Bowl weekend. I thought the Bills were destined to win some of those Super Bowls. I thought for sure the Bills would make it back someday! I mean why wouldn't I!? At that point in life I was a youthful optimist who only knew of the Bills going to the big dance and good times in life. Then the drought came and then life came along next. All of a sudden those were just memories of a Magical time that felt more like something I dreamt about so many years ago. Who would've thought it would take nearly 3 decades for the Bills to become relevant again?? I guess those Super Bowl losses taught me that time is really Fleeting and nothing lasts forever. They taught me to savor the good times in life because you never know when they will come back around again. They taught me about resiliency and to never, never, never give up in life. They taught me about loyalty and staying true to your team and your city even when things aren't looking so good. They taught me as a kid who was born and raised in WNY there would never be a sports team I could identify with more than the Buffalo Bills

Yes that's good perspective! I feel like even if we don't make it to the Super Bowl this year we are close to getting back to the big dance. This has just been such a draining and challenging season, I just feel like the pieces might not be in place to do it this year but they have also shown me this group does have the heart of a champion and I still believe they will get back soon.

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?

50/50 I can see it going either way and probably going down to the last drive of the game -
Reminds me a little bit of some of the stuff Dan Dunleavy says during Sabres games...."DC is marvelous" after a Dylan Cozens goal. Just seems a little forced and cringey...which is also funny to me because RJ always had a lot of sayings and phrases but with him it never felt forced and always seemed organic. I think it's just one of those things where some guys are naturals for the role and a lot of people are not but they try their best.

Is it just me or did our Offensive Line(primarily speaking from a Pass Protection perspective) look at it's best in 2020? -

I wonder if they are even going to bother putting someone up on the current Wall at Highmark since we are "moving" to a new stadium

First off I completely agree with you, McDermott is truly deserving of coach of the year and I disagree with the way that award is voted on. WIth that said you actually hit the nail on the head with your first two bullet points. But Buffalo is already beyond that point and was already turned around from a losing team and went into this season as Super Bowl favorites so the voters are going to look at that as McDermott having the season he was supposed to have. However I really wish they would take your 3rd point into more consideration because to be 13-3 after all of the adversity the Bills had to face this year is amazing. In my book he is the coach of the year but sadly the voters won't see it that way.

Steelers radio debates signing Tremaine Edmunds
BillsPride12 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've said this on here before and I'll say it again....McDermott and Beane value Tremaine wayyyy more than 70% of this fanbase does. I'd actually be shocked if he doesn't remain in Buffalo. Fans don't really understand the salary cap either thinking every good player is impossible to sign. The same fans that are saying there's no way we can resign Edmunds are the ones that said the same thing about Diggs, Knox, Milano etc....in short most fans are idiots lol -
Bill Burr's Analysis of Pats Game (Video NSFW)
BillsPride12 replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saw Bill Burr at the Keybank Center(Sabres arena) over the summer. He was hilarious even when he jumped into a whole bit on the Buffalo sports curse. Was painful but hilarious at the same time. He did say he was rooting for us to go all the way this year which was pretty cool. -

I've been watching the Shaq docuseries on HBO Max. Halfway through. The first episode was decent but kinda slow but the 2nd episode was excellent. -
What is your 2023 Super Bowl Field?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why it's fun to go on record after the regular season/before the playoffs start and then go back and revisit once we see who gets there -
What are the teams you can realistically see making it to the Super Bowl from each conference this year? I'm going with the below. I'd be shocked if someone outside of those teams made it personally speaking. Who do you have? AFC: Buffalo Cincinatti Kansas City NFC: Philadelphia San Francisco
