  1. I know Buddy basically tried to replicate the 85 Bears in Philly. I wouldn't mind seeing a 30 for 30 or something like that on why it ultimately didn't work out.
  2. I thought of them. They would be on my honorable mention list but similar situation to the Purple People Eater's they didn't bring home the hardware so I couldn't put them on my Top 5 over any of the teams I listed that did. Actually I don't think those Buddy Ryan Eagles teams ever made it out of the 1st Round in the playoffs?
  3. Before my time so I'm not super familiar with them. I know they were really good but one thing they don't have in common with the 5 teams I listed is a Lombardi They are on my honorable mention list right outside the Top 5. They were very good
  4. Inspired by the latest 30 for 30 on the 2000 Ravens: 1) 85 Bears 2) 00 Ravens 3) Steel Curtain Steelers 4) 02 Buccaneers 5) 2013 Seahawks
  5. 2020 was amazing. It felt like the Bills were finally back. I know the San Francisco game was already referenced but what about the beatdown we put on Denver that year? I didn't attend but the airport party after we locked up the first AFC East title in 25 years looked insane. Beating Baltimore to make it to the AFC Championship game. Such a fun season.
  6. I was watching the 30 for 30 on the Baltimore Ravens last night and the whole time I was thinking about how I miss when Defense could be played like that.
  7. I mean they will still get some Primetime games but it won't be on the level it was last year and seeing as they were on opening night this season I just can't see them getting that slot again next year.
  8. You're leaving out a glaring omission with your post....Offensive and Defensive Lines. I have not been impressed with this regime's ability to stock up the trenches on either side of the ball. Until Beane shows he's capable of building much better lines I can't see them getting over the hurdle to winning the whole thing.
  9. I'm starting to think this guy has to be a Parody account. His takes are always awful
  10. I don't see it happening...Buffalo is going to lose a bit of it's National Luster next season and I'm more than ok with it.
  11. While I don't draw any parallels to teams from 30 years ago, if you are just comparing those teams straight up the biggest difference is how much better the Offensive Line was in the 90s era. Right now we are not even close to being good enough in the trenches to get to or win a Super Bowl.
  12. I scored tickets to the game tonight. I really hope they pull it off. Should be an electric atmosphere if they slide into that last playoff spot before the All-Star break. Let's Go Buffalo!
  13. Kindergarten through 3rd grade for me....so having no life experience whatsoever those Super Losses felt like the absolute worst thing that could ever possibly happen in life for me😂
  14. Yup! It was definitely crazy. I remembered when that interview of him went Viral but I had no idea about any of the stuff that followed and that he was being poached to be a Reality TV star. I've been enjoying all of these random Documentaries that have been coming out on Netflix lately.
  15. This would have been a much easier conversation to have if Beane drafted Creed Humphrey when he had the chance
  16. I think they are legit but I also think San Francisco is a damn good team too. I have SF winning but could see it going either way. I think it's going to be a really good game and I'm looking forward to watching that one.
  17. I don't even think Bills fans are going to be touting them as Super Bowl favorites next season, that is done for now.
  18. I like Beane but poor drafting has caught up to us. Not only lack of weapons on offense but ignoring the Offensive Line as well.
  19. To me this feels like the "Comedown Game" For the last four years the Bills had been on an upward trajectory bringing hope and optimism that we were on the cusp of a Super Bowl team. That feeling hit it's peak as we went into the Offseason as the perennial favorite to win the whole thing and the way we beat down the defending champs on opening night just added fuel to the frenzy....But we know all know what happened as the season went on culminating in that finale against Cincinnati where that High came crashing down hard. I think we will be looking at the Bills much differently going into this offseason than we have in the past 4 years. Does this go down in history as the "Greatest Comedown Game" of all-time?
  20. It's not so much about putting the Bengals on a pedestal as much as realizing the Bills are not up on the pedestal like everybody had them going into this season IMO
  21. I have a lot of respect for the way the Bills battled through the insane amount of adversity that they faced this season. In all honesty I've never seen a team go through as much as the Bills had to. It was a DRAINING season as a fan, I can't imagine how the players must feel. They pulled out some wins in some games they probably had no business winning. So props and respect to those guys for the way they battled this season. But I think if we are being honest with ourselves that Bengals game did expose this Bills team as still being a bit off from being a true Super Bowl team. We really have some weaknesses on both lines and probably still missing a couple of legit playmakers in general. Playcalling is a bit suspect. These things don't have anything to do with the adversity. They do not have to be mutually exclusive thoughts.
