  1. These things always feel the same to me every year. They were much better in the old NFL Films days.
  2. Yes...definitely get some new ones. Technology is so far advanced from clubs in the 90s. You should notice some improvement from just getting new clubs alone Go to your local golf shop and get fitted for them
  3. Good for Howard, sounds like a fun gig
  4. My Dad traveled for work when I was a kid and occasionally he would bring us along on his business trips and for some reason I thought getting to swim in hotel pools was the coolest thing ever, I was just out of town recently and used the hotel pool and although I didn't have the same type of excitement as an adult lol it made me reminisce about those times. It's amazing the things we get enjoyment out of when we are young. I remember going to that public pool in NT a few times as a kid but it wasn't very often, when I was a kid it was right around when inground pools were starting to become pretty common and we had some neighbors that had them so we would usually go over there for swimming
  5. Stamer was an absolute missile on special teams!
  6. I've played Rothland a couple times, I like Arrowhead across the street better though but I know it's a bit more expensive
  7. I've played Grover Cleveland once, always wanted to play it because of the history...don't see myself ever going back there though haha! Was in pretty rough shape For what it is, I do like Delaware Park as a nice practice course though
  8. For the Buffalo area golfers in here what are your favorite courses to play?
  9. They don't put the pics of the rookie trip to the Sundowner out for the public
  10. I love golf season. It's right up there with football season for me as my favorite times of the year. I'm usually able to get out once a week if not twice for a full round of 18. I play all over WNY throughout the season and make a few Rochester/PA area trips 2 or 3 times a season as well. Gives me my sports fix during the offseason for the Bills and Sabres
  11. I agree. I'm not gonna lie, I was college-age when the Bucky Phillips thing happened and it's not that I was rooting/applauding for him but I do remember finding the story entertaining but now being older with some life experience under my belt I realize it was stupid to look at it that way and that these guys really are just scumbags putting people at risk. It's crazy how differently you see things once you get into your 30s.
  12. I just got mine and while the perks were really never that good for STH's at least we used to get a few things sent in the package, they had been scaling back for years but this year didn't get anything, not even a stinking fridge magnet with the Bills schedule. Disappointing
  13. Pretty sure that exact scenario happened with Bucky Phillips...I even remember a restaurant created a Bucky Burger
  14. I grew up a huge wrestling fan during the 90s heyday(ok so 93-95ish was actually pretty bad but as a kid I didn't know any better) but eventually grew out of it. But it was always one of those things I like from a Nostalgia standpoint. I don't follow it now but would occasionally go to the live shows in my 20s with friends who were also "wrestling guys". I haven't been to Raw in probably over a decade but thinking it would be fun to take my nephews now when they get a little older. Were there any Bills players in attendance?
  15. That was the first thing I thought of hearing about this...it's crazy how history has a way of repeating itself in life
  16. Keyword in there is Had....we were absolutely spoiled in Buffalo with Van Miller, Ted Darling, Rick Jeanneret but those days are over sadly
  17. A work friend of mine had Bucky Gleason as his realtor checking out some properties a couple weeks ago and he was telling him he is so glad he got out when he did and it's only a matter of time before the Buffalo News shuts down operations completely....this is one step getting closer to it😢
  18. Been following this story here and there on Twitter as well....absolutely heartbreaking, gut-wrenching stuff
  19. Agreed but it's also what the media does. Piss poor choice of words when McDermott said "Very concerned" What did he expect was going to happen after he said that? It was handled poorly all the way around by all parties
  20. I agree with all of this and will add it also doesn't even compare to the other old school stadiums like Arrowhead and Lambeau....it was time
  21. Happy 4th of July Y'all! 🍻 🗽🍔🌭
  22. That's actually one of the places I want to try. I have seen pics of their Detroit style and know of someone who gave a good recommendation. Hoping to make it there sometime over the Summer.
  23. I'll be watching from home when the new stadium opens
  24. Just read the article and now I have a much better understanding of New Haven style...and I'm also more intrigued than ever 😄 Think I'm definitely going to add a trip out that way to the bucket list at some point. I read through some of the comments from the article and one guy mentioned when he travels he goes out of his way to take a longer route home so he can pass through New Haven to get some pizza and he said "Yes it's that f***** serious" LOL. Thanks for the link
  25. I agree Buffalo's overall team Defense is sorely lacking at the moment...and this includes both the Defense corps themselves and the Defensive game of our forwards but this is just an assumption on my part...I wonder if that is something up to this point Granato just hasn't emphasized yet. It's clear to me he first and foremost wanted to get an up-tempo style of play going which is letting our young talent maximize their Offensive skills. I wonder if this offseason he is going to put a stronger emphasis on adding a more Defensive structure to our style of play(while still keeping an aggressive Offensive style). So far I trust Donny knows what he's doing.
