Week 1, Nevermores v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
BillsPride12 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game makes me nervous. I hope I'm wrong but I think we get outplayed in a slugfest but we keep it close in score with a couple big plays made by Allen Right now I can see something like 27-20 Ravens -
Is there anyway to see the rankings for last year in the Pick Em league? I know I did "decent" for me but can't remember what place I finished in

What is your X-Factor(variable) for the Bills this year?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have you not paid any attention to our secondary situation? And I'm still nervous about our defensive line. Although as I mentioned in my original post if Walker and Bosa maximize their potential I think that can give the Defense a major boost this year. I think your naive if you think this Defense is just going to be rock solid from top to bottom this season -
What is your X-Factor(variable) for the Bills this year?

Keon Coleman is another good one. Kincaid to an extent as well. Guess I glossed over these guys because even if they don't elevate their level of play this season I still think the Offense will be good enough like we saw last season. But yeah Coleman is a great answer -
Another meh episode in my opinion. Kinda glad this is over now to be honest. No talk about Turkey Burgers and no golfing at Oak Hill major missed opportunities

What’s your favorite Bills opening day game?

For me personally it's gotta be the 2003 a$$ kicking of the Patriots. Absolute legendary game in Bills folklore But I can understand why the OG's are going with the Miami game in 1980. That one must have been incredible to be at -
I'm excited and looking forward to getting this season underway. I have no doubts the Bills will be a competitive team right in the thick of things yet again. One concern I do have is we still see a lot of the same inconsistencies that plagued us on Defense last year. Overall I don't think the Defense is going to look drastically different this year. With that said I do have two X-factors that I could see transforming the look of our Defense 1) Deone Walker. If he can get a lot of minutes and become that same disruptive force we saw in preseason but this time playing against the 1's that is going to be game changer and a piece we really haven't seen yet in the McDermott era. 2) Joey Bosa. If he can remain healthy and play at the level he is capable of we finally have our home run hitter for the pass rush. I'm optimistic but still extremely nervous we can see this version of Bosa If one of these scenarios plays out we should be in very good shape. Now if both of these scenarios play out it should transform our Defense to another level we haven't seen yet in the McDermott era. What are your X-Factors for the season?

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - On the Eve of the 2025 Season
BillsPride12 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not that I have as long of a tenure as yourself but as another season ticket holder that is giving them up after this season and as we bid farewell to the Ralph I agree this season feels a bit different than usual. Feels like a little bit of Super Bowl or Bust for those of us giving up our seasons after this season. The end of an era for sure...there's only one way I'd love to go out on! -

I was excited when you said this and in the back of my mind I knew something didn't feel right and then I realized that's also the NFL opener that night 😡 -

Yes and those games were much more physical and violent too. Both rosters were more stacked from top to bottom than the top contenders in today's era. The game has changed a lot over the years. If you haven't watched it yet I think you would appreciate the series on netflix. They did an entire episode that focused on the Cowboys-49ers rivalry -

12 Team PPR. Redraft Snake league. Picked at the 12 spot QB- Burrow WR- Amon St. Brown WR- Rome Odunze RB- Derrick Henry RB- Isiah Pacheco TE- George Kittle Flex- Keon Coleman D/ST- Ravens Kicker- Cameron Dicker Bench: Rashod Bateman Chris Godwin Najee Harris Tucker Kraft Caleb Williams Brandon Aiyuk Not sure how I feel about my team yet. Picking at 12 can be a PITA depending on how the board is falling. My depth makes me nervous but if some of these guys can re-emerge healthy this season could have some later round value picks -

I mean I hated them for whopping on the Bills, I hate Jerry Jones and I hate their fans but those teams were a legit NFL powerhouse. When they used to play San Fran in those NFC Championship games it always felt like a heavyweight prize fight. You just don't have that anymore in today's NFL -

Not that most of them were good samaritans but as athletes I can look back and appreciate the Cowboys teams of the 90s. I actually really enjoyed watching the docuseries about them on Netflix. More colorful and more characters than the Patriots and Chiefs dynasty teams by far EDIT: After re-reading your thread title I need to clarify I wouldn't say I LOVE those teams 😂 -
Jesus dude for someone who hates Taylor Swift and keeps talking about how she has no impact on your life you sure are familiar with her catalog 😂

They made an appearance at my gym last Summer. They were both super cool and friendly. Very down to earth.
