I would love to trade up and get one of the premium receiver's but I hate the thought of giving up that much capital as we still have a few other holes that need to be addressed. Either way it's going to be a really interesting draft this year. I'm excited
But does he have the ammo to trade up that high? I know he would love to do it but I don't know if he has the means. I think realistically he trades up but more around 18 to early 20's range
Lindy's 64 I think he's only here for 2 or 3 years MAX(could be a one and done possibly) I think he can be the bridge guy that brings the franchise back to respectability and gets them in the playoffs but agreed then they will need to find the guy that can really navigate them to a Cup contending team.
Wouldn't have been my first choice but I'd rather have Lindy than Granato. Brindamour was never a realistic option IMO because I'm pretty confident he just stays with Carolina. I think with some proper roster maintenance Lindy can get this group to the playoffs.
I'm sure they just offered her different seats, and they didn't knock off 10K from their original East Club seats. But that's not how she wrote her post and that's what creates confusion and chaos in the social media world
Anybody else doing an NHL playoff bracket through NHL.com?
I just submitted my picks. I have Florida winning it this year. I know this is going to happen because now it's going to be Reinhart's turn to stick it to Buffalo
My screenname on there is SufferinginBFLO btw if anybody else is doing it
Who knows for sure what's going on with him but I wouldn't be surprised if he is just feeling some stress or burnout from the team not meeting expectations. The Bills have been through a lot the last two seasons. But I do notice some differences in his demeanor and what he says in his press conferences now compared to a couple years ago. One thing I like about Beane is his accountability as he does own up to mistakes he's made in the past. I'm sure it takes a toll on him.
There's gotta be some frustration on his end. I really think in his mind they were Super Bowl bound in 2022 and now they are starting over to a degree. But I don't think there's probably anything more to it than that. Just the nature of this business
