  1. As much as I find these Chicago Bulls basketball analogies silly I find the threads equally enjoyable because of how much fun those teams were Do we have a Jud Buechler on this roster!?
  2. That really was a heartbreaking loss. After the 6 game winning streak and the way things were falling into place, Bills fans were really starting to Billieve the drought was coming to an end. I remember the atmosphere at the stadium was pretty wild that day but there were soooo many Steelers fans there. Gut punching loss but I got a nice taste of revenge going to Pittsburgh in 2019 when we beat them to clinch a playoff spot and pretty much knock them out and so many Bills fans traveled there that day.
  3. That was my favorite team during the drought years..yeah I know not saying much...but for a little while there was a little glimmer of hope. We had a pretty awesome Defense for that time just missing the true beast Pass Rusher(with all due respect to Schobel). The cheeseburger thing was so funny and random, kinda just popped into my head today hence the post. Truth is we beat up on a lot of bad teams during that 6 game winning streak but so what it was a lot of fun at the time lol. I was at both the Jags opening day and Steelers season finale losses...just brutal. One of the more interesting seasons in Bills history in my opinion.
  4. We need a miraculous late season 6 game winning streak and there's only one man for this job....The real ones know
  5. Agreed! Most people cite 2021 and the 13 seconds game as the peak and the beginning of the regression but they already took a step backwards in 2021 from how they looked in 2020. We are going on 3 years of going backwards now. To me that is a big enough sample size to know this isn't a fluke and it is time to blow it up.
  6. DIGGS IS NOT THE PROBLEM
  7. Looking like there is going to be no playoffs at all in Buffalo this year
  8. Sure they were 7-6 that year and dealt with their own struggles that season but let's face it they never looked like this at any point. This is a team that's truly broken right now. If they can't beat teams like the Patriots and Broncos I have no expectations of them beating teams like Philly, KC, Dallas
  9. The Sox and Cubs were absolutely right there with us before they broke through and Won their recent championships. Maybe the Browns but I don't know if they have as many legendary heartbreaking moments as Us or the Sox, Cubs as much as they just usually suck
  10. I was listening to One Bills Live at work today and Thurman Thomas was on there and Chris Brown asked him what those guys used to do to get out of a funk back in the day and he said something along the lines of Partying it up at Jim's house 🤣🤣 🤣 Yeah they could never win the big one but still such a legendary team!
  11. A lot of it is going to depend on the state of the team come 2026 IMO...we are just coming off a period where interest in the Bills has been sky high after finally coming out of the drought thinking we have one of the top 2-3 Quarterback's in the NFL and reaching the AFC Championship game in 2020 and expecting to make a Super Bowl run. But it already feels like the momentum is crashing hard, I had trouble even giving away a couple of my season tickets to these night games this year and know a lot of other people that had the same problem. I mean yeah of course WNY loves the Bills but as far as shelling out crazy amounts of $$$ on tickets etc. that can only be sustained for so long. Anytime there is a crazy high, it is going to be followed by a crash and burn. Look at the end of the Bills Super Bowl runs when they were having trouble selling out home playoff games.
  12. I mean...It Is Hard to Win in the NFL!
  13. I am pretty pissed about this loss, legitimately angry but a side note to your main point...The NFL has become such a joke overall that it is going to make it easier for me to not care as much in the long run. Will be easier to get over. I agree with those saying the biggest problem is I still really wanna see the Bills win a damn Super Bowl and for a little bit it was looking like this could be the group to do it so that part of it is super frustrating.
  14. It's silly to say the drought teams were more fun than watching this team....but I would say this feels equivalent to drought era Bills football. That's what I was telling my buddies in the group chat last night. That is exactly what that game felt like, what this season has felt like
  15. What's Lauren Hall up to these days?
  16. I just wish I didn't live in WNY at this time of the year. Would much rather be golfing on Sundays now. This team is comical right now
  17. And I expect them to be downright furious with the 5-5 Bills
  18. Way too many food items...I carry about an extra 15 pounds because I have no willpower when it comes to eating healthy consistently Blondes Spending too much time on following Sports and sports content(including this damn place lol)
  19. Fun topic to dive into Another Fan. I would say No in the sense that if a story or something I brought up involved a friend of mine from back in the day but haven't talked to in 20-25 years I wouldn't tell the story as "My buddy yada yada yada" but would tell like it "A friend of mine from back in the day", "An old friend of mine" "A good buddy at the time" If that makes any sense. But that doesn't mean it's in a negative light. It's just time does move on and it's hard to classify someone I haven't spoken with in over 20 years currently as a "Friend" But the topic itself is such an interesting one, just like the poster above mentioned I thought of the old Stand By Me quote instantly. The crazy thing to me is I haven't stayed in touch with some of my closest friends from childhood but then I have other random friends I met wherever that I still keep in touch with. I dunno life just has a weird way of flowing once you get to a certain age. Sometimes there's no rhyme or reason to it. There's definitely people I wish I would've kept in touch with but the friendship just naturally fizzled out. But I will say I still will always have love and a place in my heart for old friends and I would definitely feel the same way as the OP if I learned of a good friend's Dad passing away even if I hadn't talked to him in awhile. I always say life goes on but the memories last forever.
  20. Pittsburgh feels more lucky than overachieving IMO
  21. I've been watching the new Frasier reboot(if that's what you wanna call it) on Paramount, after the first two episodes I didn't think it was very good and had low expectations but since then every episode keeps getting and better. Not as good as the original but for today's standards worth checking out if you were a Frasier fan or just like sitcoms in general.
