Had a chance to visit the RJ Memorial by the arena this afternoon, there was a decent amount of people trickling through to pay their respects. Lots of people left written Thanks and well wishes for his family, it was very touching reading through them. They were blaring all of his classic calls on a loop on the speakers outside the arena...I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed some tears. Emotional scene.

Ugh this is such a tough one because he's such a great guy off the field and a pillar in the community but yeah his play is just so disappointing at times. I was really hoping he would come into this season as motivated as ever but so far looking like the same Dion that has struggled heavily the past two seasons

What are your top TWO takeaways from the Bills-Steelers game?
BillsPride12 replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
*I recognize it's only one preseason game we are judging off but if you want two takeaways in the moment* 1) Offensive Line is what we were afraid it is 2) Kincaid and Torrence look the part....in itself great news but also made me feel a bit frustrated knowing how important it is to hit on your top draft picks and knowing we have whiffed on quite a few in the last few previous years- 167 replies

That's awesome! Never heard that story before but I believe it

Still feels so surreal, it breaks my heart knowing the Sabres are about to enter into another glory period and he won't be around this time to narrate it 😭

RJ and Jim Lorentz were the absolute best together...nobody did it better.

This one hurts..I really have no words at the moment. An absolute Buffalo legend. He will be so sorely missed but never forgotten! RIP Rick 😭

1990 Week 5 LA Raiders at Buffalo Bills.

I was super young back then but many say this comeback was the game that catapulted the Bills into a Super Bowl contender that year -
My Grandpa was there for the first game...he has long since passed...but I know that he passed down his commemorative gold coin to my Uncle

Yeah last preseason game to the home opener would be world's apart in the experience lol....Haven't done preseason in probably 20 years and don't think I've ever gone to the last preseason game

Are you saying in what a drastic difference the atmosphere is?

Another tip when ordering a Deep Dish from Malnati's....always go with the Butter Crust! -

Deep Dish and I agree Lou Malnati's was the best. I wasn't knocking it I really enjoyed Malnati's but was just surprised how much I liked this Detroit pizza last night. -

Finally got a chance to try it tonight and thought it was excellent! I like Chicago style(have had in Chicago a couple times) but thought this was much better. Which was also the general consensus from people at the bar. We just went with a basic cheese and pepperoni which was great but would love to try some of the more interesting toppings they had on the menu in the future -
This X 1000.....the tailgate always flies by way too fast. You never know who you're going to meet and what new friends you're going to make. Start early and give yourself enough time to head into the stadium before kickoff.

Completely agree on Mighty Taco....it's one thing if your a former WNYer returning home looking for some Nostalgia but for someone coming from out of the area that's never been before there are sooooo many better places you can get food at and we have so many better Mexican places now than we have ever had in the past. Don't waste a meal on Mighty If your a sports memorabilia/Bills historian kinda guy try to find some time to make it out to the Eastern Hills Mall, there's a bunch of sports collectible and flea market kinda places with a lot of cool Bills and WNY stuff in there and then Dave & Adams is a massive sports card and memorabilia place right outside of the mall. You can also get Bills gear both new and vintage stuff.

This was an awesome cover...figured this was an appropriate place to share -
That was higher than I was expecting after the way last season turned out. I have a feeling Josh is going to have a big bounce back year and quiet some of his detractors....Can't Wait(Bart Scott voice

Kingpin or The Big Lebowski for the #1 spot is such a toss up....both are absolute classics with an entirely different feel to them

I bowled in leagues for many years when I was growing up...great memories! There were two main bowling alleys in my town and one of them is closed and the other had previously been closed but then reopened under a different name awhile back and is still going strong today. For awhile I had a group of co-worker friends where we would go out on a weekly basis to different bars in the area for Thursday night football and we would do the bowling alley once or twice a season which I always liked but that eventually died out as the group fell off once a lot of people started switching companies. I would say generally speaking Buffalo is definitely a bowling town
