Visiting Teams having Lots of Fans in the Stands
BillsPride12 replied to Bob Jones's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think sports fans going on road trips to watch their teams in other cities/stadiums has really evolved into a big thing over the years. You see a lot of visiting fans in every NFL stadium nowadays and yes that's including ours. I love going to Bills games in Orchard Park but after going to so many of them over the years the excitement wears off a little bit but it's always fun and exciting getting to go see the Bills play on the road and take over another city and stadium. -
Very sorry to hear about your loss....98 years is a hell of a run

They made me nervous after the first Offensive series but they definitely played good as the day went on. That Washington front four is no joke
-
I've heard awesome things about them before. Naples is a couple hours away from me but I play golf out there occasionally, next time I go I will have to make a pit stop

Curious for anybody who pays attention to this stuff....have other teams been continuing a Wall of Fame type thing as they have opened new stadiums? I genuinely don't know if it is still a thing or considered dated now?

Who's going to the game tomorrow?
BillsPride12 replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was the road game my group picked this year, I decided awhile back to sit this year's trip out(had some other stuff going on and not a huge fan of DC), but now I'm even more thankful I didn't bother going with how bad the weather is this weekend. -
He's already on the Wall of Fame

Do those Grape Pies live up to the hype?

He just dropped the call immediately and went to another one The funny thing was I remember it was the 2nd call he had taken that day and the first call was kinda out there too and after that one he did say something to the effect of "we're really having a day today so far"...it was really funny though, wish I still had it saved somewhere

Not only that but I remember a story about the week leading up to the Super Bowl against the Giants, which was also the first year Bruce won NFL Defensive Player of the Year, during the media sessions Bruce was proclaiming it was officially his era and he was the best Defensive player in the league now and they went back to LT about it and LT pretty much agreed with it. I know I have read this somewhere, there has gotta be some old-timers on this board who can back me up on this?

You don't think Bruce Smith was considered a household name back then?

https://x.com/JennaCottrell/status/1704940475331891279?s=20 It's nice to see the respect being shown here, Milano is a guy that has flown under the radar across the NFL over the years but I think he is finally starting to get the league wide recognition he deserves. He has been outstanding in the first two weeks so far.

I was actually pretty shocked when I read on here this Summer that we had the oldest roster by average of age in the NFL...also hard to believe guys like Dawkins and Milano have been in the league as long as they have already. Time flies

Fan dies in stands after fight at Patriots game
BillsPride12 replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
Two separate points from me here: 1) What happened is a freaking tragedy and heartbreaking. There is no excuse to put someone's life in danger over a football game. Very sad reading about this today 2) I do have to disagree with a lot of the comments in this thread making it sound like things are at an all-time low attending Bills games these days behavior wise. From my personal experience I feel like fan behavior is MUCH better than it was 10-15 years ago. Outside of seeing the occasional hammered person who has just drank way too much I really haven't seen anything too bad happen in a long time...Going to games years ago I definitely witnessed fights and shenanigans on a regular basis. I feel like maybe the price increases over the years have already weeded out a lot of the idiots from years past -
I think this dude was so high he thought he was time traveling to the 2026 Home Opener

It's a week to week league and an NFL season is a roller coaster, let's see where this ride takes us -
Somehow someone will find a way to blame this on Maddy Glab

Did this guy think it was still the 70s?
