That was the first thing I thought of hearing about this...it's crazy how history has a way of repeating itself in life

Chris Brown to start season as interim play by play guy

Keyword in there is Had....we were absolutely spoiled in Buffalo with Van Miller, Ted Darling, Rick Jeanneret but those days are over sadly -
An 8-year-old Bills fan with a heart defect needs our help

Been following this story here and there on Twitter as well....absolutely heartbreaking, gut-wrenching stuff -
Thad Brown the first to be offended by Josh

Agreed but it's also what the media does. Piss poor choice of words when McDermott said "Very concerned" What did he expect was going to happen after he said that? It was handled poorly all the way around by all parties -
I agree with all of this and will add it also doesn't even compare to the other old school stadiums like Arrowhead and Lambeau....it was time

Does Connecticut Pizza live up to the hype?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
That's actually one of the places I want to try. I have seen pics of their Detroit style and know of someone who gave a good recommendation. Hoping to make it there sometime over the Summer. -
I'll be watching from home when the new stadium opens

Does Connecticut Pizza live up to the hype?

Just read the article and now I have a much better understanding of New Haven style...and I'm also more intrigued than ever 😄 Think I'm definitely going to add a trip out that way to the bucket list at some point. I read through some of the comments from the article and one guy mentioned when he travels he goes out of his way to take a longer route home so he can pass through New Haven to get some pizza and he said "Yes it's that f***** serious" LOL. Thanks for the link -
I agree Buffalo's overall team Defense is sorely lacking at the moment...and this includes both the Defense corps themselves and the Defensive game of our forwards but this is just an assumption on my part...I wonder if that is something up to this point Granato just hasn't emphasized yet. It's clear to me he first and foremost wanted to get an up-tempo style of play going which is letting our young talent maximize their Offensive skills. I wonder if this offseason he is going to put a stronger emphasis on adding a more Defensive structure to our style of play(while still keeping an aggressive Offensive style). So far I trust Donny knows what he's doing.

Detroit style seems to be all the rage lately. A ton of places in WNY are now offering it, I haven't tried any yet but I have a few spots on my checklist to try out when I get a chance. -

That's crazy! Never heard of something like that anywhere else unless you are talking about Super Bowl Sunday. I would like to make it out to New Haven someday to try some pies. Maybe I'll tie it in with a golf trip or something. -
That kinda stuff has been around forever with the Call In talk shows, but it's just so much more in your face now with how everybody uses the internet to communicate

Thanks! Will check that out later on when I have time to really dive into it -
I've had pizza in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and obviously Buffalo but I always hear CT Pizza is the best. Is it really that good? What makes it so special??

It doesn't get more Buffalo than that LOL

You've apparently never spent any time on Twitter

I actually think at some point an executive decision was made at the top to turn ESPN into a more "hip and edgy" Network catering to the youth but all it did was fail miserably and alienate it's core audience
-
ESPN is pretty much unwatchable nowadays anyway.

There really is! One of the tougher things about adulthood in my opinion is being aware of how much tragedy and heartbreak goes on in this world on a daily basis.

Buffalo 66 came out 25 years ago yesterday
BillsPride12 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
What's the backstory on that? I don't know all that much about Gallo but he was in that NFL Films video about the Bills called "A Town, A Team, A Dream" and my impressions of him is that he was kind of a loser/outcast type...so yeah how did he pull that off? -
