  1. It was the Beverly Hills Cops movies for me and I have been coming across them a lot on Showtime lately which made me think of this. Sure they feel a bit dated now but I still had to stop and watch and I still enjoy those movies. I don't remember how old I was when I first watched them but I was pretty young. At that time those movies felt so badass to me haha. I hope BHC 4 is still in the works but I haven't heard anything on that in awhile
  2. The Lions are a fun team to watch on the side. I am rooting for them. I think they can get pretty far but Goff makes me nervous and I don't think they are getting past San Fran this year. But the Lions will be in the mix for awhile now
  3. Night 1 and a Pittsburgh loss. We are off to a good start
  4. I have vivid memories of being at that game. One of the worst weather games I've ever sat through. The Giants just completely man handled us from a physical standpoint on both sides of the ball. That was the year they went on to win the Super Bowl...was kind of a surprise team that year but when they went I remember thinking back to that beatdown they gave us that afternoon and wasn't all that surprised that team went all the way.
  5. Whoever comes out of the AFC this year is punching themselves a ticket to go get killed by San Fran in the Super Bowl
  6. Settle has been disappointing after all of the hype we were hearing about him when he signed here. I was expecting him to perform at the level Jones was.
  7. I have a nice setup in my basement where I generally watch all of the Away games but with all of the Hoopla about bars and restaurants opening early and getting the special liquor license for the game got talked into going out to watch the game at a bar with some friends. That and instead of Labatts drank Vodka and OJ's all morning
  8. And a very physical, mauling Offensive Line. Easier said than done recreating what they have going in SF right now
  9. I imagine we hear something more official today but the fear is a torn pectoral muscle which would put him out of action for awhile
  10. This is going to be a fun week
  11. It's funny even though Philly is 5-0 they don't look nearly as good as they did last year. I would have them the 4th best ranked team in the NFC this year
  12. Exactly. It's amazing how so many people are downplaying injuries to top players of ours. Not only that but being this early into the season you have to account for other potential injuries before we get to to the finish line. I'm not saying the season is completely over but I don't think it's wrong for fans to change expectations based on significant players going out for the season and other players dealing with nagging injuries. It totally sucks but it is going to make an impact.
  13. For sure, very frustrating. I just laugh when fans think Beane can waive his magic wand and work a trade on the spot to bring in a comparable replacement to guys like that.
  14. Agree. And it really sucks we only got to see them perform as a complete unit for a few weeks before getting hit with the injury train again
  15. 2nd year in a row our season is going off the rails due to excessive injuries. There are no words to sum up the disappointment
  16. There is going to be no replacing what Daquan and Milano bring to the table for our Defense. These injuries are far more devastating for the season outlook than the loss itself today
  17. Too early to say the Chiefs walk through the AFC...they haven't looked very good this year themselves
  18. Norwood made one from 48 yards earlier that season where he just squeeked it in to the right by an inch, If only that could've been the kick on that night in January 😭
  19. It's amazing after all these years what a topic of conversation that still is in WNY and Bills folklore. I was playing Tennis with some friends over the Summer and I don't even remember why or how it got brought up but somehow the Norwood kick comes up and then we are talking about it for 30 minutes....I was thinking to myself this is crazy, that was 30 years ago now and it has already been analyzed to death yet here we are 😄 I agree though if this team can bring us to the promised land all of the talk about Norwood and the 4 Super Bowl losses truly becomes ancient history. It's only still relevant today because the Bills have never won one
  20. Never been to Schwabl's but I'm partial to Adrian's on Grand Island for my favorite Beef on Weck. But I hear there's a place in Olean that has some Killer BoW!
