  1. I don't think people are acting like Josh Allen is on the downside of his career right now...the point is we don't want to see the rest of his prime years get wasted with a head coach who just seems to be in over his head. There is absolutely still time to turn things around and see Allen kill it
  2. Forgot Planes, Trains, and Automobiles on my original list Misery and Groundhound Day are solid choices
  3. Thanksgiving was the deal breaker for our group as well because the group just did the two previous Thanksgiving games(I didn't go to Detroit) and nobody wanted to travel Thanksgiving weekend 3 years in a row which I get but I was still pretty pissed about how the timing of all of it went down lol. I had some serious FOMO all weekend leading up to the game seeing everybody's Cheesesteak pics etc. on Twitter and then I was really bummed after how good of a game it started out as for the Bills but....then...after that debacle of an ending it made me feel a little better about not making the trip LOL
  4. It felt that way at the time but that ended up being a bad Rams team. Looking back that game doesn't stand out to me too much
  5. I feel like there is probably going to be many more Final Nail in the Coffin moments before this season is over
  6. Ravens Divisional Playoff win Patriots 47-17 Wildcard Beatdown 2019 Sunday Night football win against Steelers in Pitt to clinch playoff spot Thanksgiving against Dallas...first bigtime game in the National spotlight letting the NFL universe know the Bills were starting to arrive and it wasn't the same old drought years team
  7. Alright it's completely dark out at 5pm and we are getting our first Snowfalls in the Buffalo area so we can officially do this thread now *Note this is not a thread for Christmas movies in particular but if there's some that hit home for you when you think of Winter movies that's fine The first ones that stick out to me right now: Grumpy Old Men Fargo Four Brothers
  8. I wanted to go to this game for my group's annual road trip but it didn't work out with other people's schedules. I've always wanted to see the Philly experience in person to see if it lives up to the hype or not. I feel like right now I am still "young" enough to deal with the BS but by the time we play there again in 8 years or whatever it is I'll just be at that stage in life where I won't even want to bother.
  9. I was going to mention that game as well! That was a game we had no business losing other than McDermott being outcoached. One of the most miserable games I've ever attended
  10. Dude that was after 20 straight losses to Miami and Wide Right...the curse was underway long before then! These are the kinda posts that keep me coming back to this messageboard
  11. In all seriousness it was a VERY impressive kick...but I was also expecting it to be good the entire time. The life of a Bills fan
  12. I wonder what Phil Jackson is up to these days
  13. Listening to WGR right now and a guy just called in that was at the game and said even the Philly fans in the crowd were clowning on how bad the Officiating was and couldn't believe they missed the horse collar call
  14. This has to be the most frustrating Sabres team I've ever seen. In the tank years you knew and expected them to suck
  15. I don't know what the Eagles were thinking ditching the Kelly Green uniforms for these ones
  16. Just watched it. Excellent documentary. I miss that era of NFL football so bad, I remember doing a book report on Barry when I was a little kid. It's a shame he never got see experience more team success. I did forget about how many talented players were on those early 90s Lions teams they eventually lost to free agency.
  17. Found out today my Uncle was friends with them and had just spoken to the husband earlier that day. So crazy, absolutely heartbreaking
  18. Things that stand out to me: -Turkey Bowl football games in the morning(if there was Snow it was a Bonus) -One of my best friends from childhood had Family in Ohio and they always went there for Thanksgiving; as a kid I was always jealous because it seemed exciting lol but then by the time we were in middle school we had gotten into fireworks and those Ohio thanksgiving trips took on a whole new meaning as he could bring me back some bottle rockets and firecrackers to NY -After the Thanksgiving dinner had wrapped up, my Grandmother(RIP) bringing out the Sears and JC Penny Christmas catalogs and asking the kids to circle the items we wanted for Christmas that year; it was awesome knowing at that time Christmas was officially on! -I was a WWF fanatic as a kid so watching Survivor Series(which took place on Thanksgiving night or Thanksgiving Eve back then) was a must
  19. Happy Turkey Day to all you Bills fans! And yes I agree it does feel nice to be able to enjoy the Holiday with no Bills game on today. For years I was always disappointed the Bills would never get selected to play on Thanksgiving and thought about how much fun it would be to get to experience a Thanksgiving Bills game but I never expected we would get put on Turkey Day 3 out of 4 years in a row...that was just overkill
  20. I'm wondering if they lost some Major $$$$ at the Casino and this turned into a Suicide mission...wouldn't be the first time that has happened there
  21. Wasn't there talk/rumors of Miami trying to make a play for Barry Sanders towards the end of Marino's career? I don't remember the details now but have a vague memory of this. Glad he never went there lol
  22. "We take it Mitchell won't be invited to the next Lions reunion" 🤣🤣🤣
  23. I never thought of it like that before but an edgier version of Seinfeld set in Philadelphia is the perfect analogy for that show
