  1. Was sad to learn about this earlier today, didn't know him personally but I knew of him and his battle as I'm from the Niagara area, I'm a bit younger but I know people who were friends with him. Seemed like a great guy and a true Bills fan through and through. RIP Jon
  2. I don't like Harbaugh but he does make the Chargers better and the AFC even more competitive
  3. I like Kelly but that's kind've silly. Wasn't the knock on Kelly he didn't do enough on that last drive to get the Bills closer to Norwood's ideal yard range? 47 yards was no chip shot back in 1991
  4. I thought he might have been playing with bruised ribs just judging from his reactions to certain hits in that area....100% speculation on my part and I could be completely wrong but if it was something like that then I think that could contribute to dropped passes. I actually don't think it was a hamstring because there have been plenty of times where he has been getting open where either Josh isn't getting him the ball or he's dropping the pass. Just a very weird situation without knowing what is actually going on.
  5. I'll be honest I really thought he was playing through some sort of injury. One where he was able to still suit up and take the field but enough discomfort he couldn't play at his level. I thought for sure there would be some sort of acknowledgement of this after the season was over but neither Beane or McDermott said anything in their press conferences and Diggs didn't speak to the media so now I'm even more confused than I was during the season trying to get an understanding of what happened. I just can't believe he completely fell off a cliff in the middle of the season and I don't question his effort as a competitor so it really is confusing.
  6. Didn't even bother watching any of the game last night...I mean I work mornings so it was an easy choice but I'm really checking out on the Sabres this year. I feel like even when they are playing in Eastern time zones I'm gonna have no desire to watch. Anybody else feeling this way?
  7. I don't know how it ends up but I would use Dan Marino as the first example over Phillip Rivers. Josh is in another class from Rivers and this is coming from someone who was a big fan of Rivers.
  8. I liked it better and I also liked the NFL regular season at 16 games. The seasons are just getting to be excruciatingly long and so many players are either completely out with injuries at this point or playing banged up and not close to 100%. I am not using this as an excuse for why the Bills lost but just a general statement on the NFL
  9. No I wasn't realistically expecting a Super Bowl this year but as a fan you watch and root for the best outcome. Having Josh Allen we will always have a puncher's chance at beating anybody. I did think and was really rooting for us to beat Kansas City to exorcise some demons from the past but even then I was really nervous about this game at the same time. I made a post in another thread before the Chiefs game saying the people that thought we were going to run through KC and then Baltimore and just waltz into the Super Bowl like this was our year were going to be in for a rude awakening.
  10. Homefield advantage is nice but it's not enough to swing the outcome of a football game. I was happy we were finally getting KC in Buffalo going into this game but in no way did I think that guaranteed us a Win.
  11. This was something I was worried about going into the game. KC definitely looked like a shell of itself during the regular season but I had a feeling they were going to ramp things up for the playoffs. Most people on here seemed to be unimpressed with KC's performance against Miami in the wild card but to me I felt like I was watching them play their best football of the season and as I was worried about they carried it over to yesterday's game.
  12. Naw this one hurts. I also hate that this is the outsider's perception of the Bills(and he's not wrong)
  13. I try not to even think about it until it happens
  14. Great post. Enjoy every second. The Bills have been able to achieve some sustained success since Allen, McDermott, and Beane came along and as soon as I start to catch myself taking it for granted I think about the Sabres and what the alternative could be. Then I go right back to appreciating every minute of this. There were times during the drought years where I questioned if the Bills would ever make it back to this level. Anyways...Go Bills!!! Beat KC and punch our ticket to the AFC Championship game
  15. Fun Fact: That is also how McDermott's first press conference started out
  16. I would take Allen over Lamar anyday of the week, he is the better QB for sure. Allen at his best this season is better than Lamar at his best this season.....BUT...the thing that killed Allen's chances at winning MVP this year was having more bad games/moments as well. Particularly the Jets game which was really a loss squarely on Josh's shoulders. I mean Dorsey might have played a role in this problem too but the voters won't look at it like that. I still think Allen wins an MVP or two before his career is over but this season just wasn't meant to be with some of the turnovers and poor performances mixed in with the brilliance.
  17. I think too many Bills fans are downplaying how good Baltimore is playing right now. I think probably because of previous playoff duds in the Lamar era but this is the best version of this era's Ravens team this season. I'm not saying we can't beat them but for the fans that think playing them is just going to be some sort of cake walk...well they are going to be in for a rude awakening. That's if the Bills even get by the Chiefs first.
  18. Doesn't surprise me not a lot of places showing the UFC fight tonight....Buffalo is first and foremost a football town and the NFL playoffs being on tonight is a big deal
  19. The absolute worst part about Moron was when he tried claiming himself as a Western New Yorker. That guy was the biggest fraud ever.
  20. Derrick Thomas is always the first Chiefs player that comes to mind for me. Absolute beast and a true legend of the NFL...RIP
