  1. Have to disagree there. The rare times the Sabres have still been playing in June the atmosphere around here is incredible
  2. Yeah I am surprised to hear this. I thought the rule was taken out long before the 2000's lol. But yeah sounds like it just became something they didn't enforce. Outside of that Bills Broncos game I can't recall seeing another game offhand where this penalty was actually called.
  3. At this point really just seeing the Bills win a Super Bowl is all that matters(which would hopefully include a home AFC championship game). I have experienced a lot of cool football stuff over the years...went to Canton for Thurman, Bruce and Ralph Wilson's inductions, have seen games at Lambeau, Arrowhead, Soldier Field, dome in New Orleans among a bunch of others. I feel pretty fulfilled as a football fan minus never experiencing the Bills go all the way Unrealistic Bucket list item- Attending a Super Bowl. This was more of something I always wanted to do when I was younger but at this point with how corporate and expensive it has gotten I really don't even care anymore. It would be cool to win free tickets somehow but it's something I'm never going to spend money on even if the Bills were in it.
  4. Those early 20s, carefree days are so special! It doesn't take long before the weight of the world crushes your spirit
  5. RIP. He was an unbelievable player
  6. It's very common slang around here, I don't mind using it appropriately with close friends or even that friend from high school you don't see as often but you guys have that mutual respect for each other....but I absolutely hate it when you go somewhere and a salesman or someone taking your food order tries calling you that. Super corny in those instances.
  7. There was a rule in place back then...a stupid one that they got rid of pretty quickly
  8. I definitely think they will try to incorporate the new stadium into it
  9. I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far. I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct. My ranking in this thing? 28,690 🤣🤣🤣
  10. Believe me I know that's the case. And I'm not one of those people that expect pro athletes to be choir boys, I know they live much different lifestyles than us peons and with that there's gonna come some trouble. I also did my fair share of dumb s*** when I was in my 20's so I'm not even a very judgmental person when it comes to most stuff. I was not one of those people attacking Araiza when that story broke before all the details came out etc.. But where I draw the line is I'm not going to celebrate or turn a blind eye to a Sociopath who murdered two innocent people because I am a football fanatic. So thanks for the snarky reply but you still sound like a dumbass to me.
  11. Pretty cool to think about how many new diehard fans have been broken in since the 2019 season. Still living in the area I have witnessed a whole new wave of Bills obsessed people who couldn't have cared less about the Bills during the drought lol.
  12. Yikes... And yet so many people in this thread trying to defend the guy.
  13. The NFL would give Super Bowl hosting rights to ISIS if the price was right $$$$$$$$$
  14. Gnocci is a pretty good one
  15. I was and born and raised and still reside in WNY to this day so I guess it comes naturally. It was my Uncle who really got me hooked though. He had season tickets throughout the entire Jim Kelly run from 86-96 and always had so many incredible stories from being at all the games during the glory years and was a part of the tearing down the goalposts you see in my profile pic. He even has a piece of the goalpost to this day! I was just a little kid back then but the whole thing seemed fascinating and larger than life to me as an elementary schooler. I'm a little bit more jaded on the NFL these days but I'll always be a lifer when it comes to the Bills.
  16. This NYR-FLA series has been nuts. 3rd straight game going into OT
  17. So far Peanuts running away with this thing. I was expecting it to be more of a tighter contest
  18. Taste way better than reese's pieces
  19. These are my two all-time favorites by far but I can never decide on which one I would give the nod to for best overall
  20. Ha! Good luck with that...the NFL is too busy plotting out new ways how they can squeeze out another 350 Million Dollars in revenue from the fans next season
