  1. And don't forget we have one WWE Woman's division wrestling title
  2. For the type of movie it was and the characters they were trying to portray, the cast of Dazed and Confused was awesome
  3. If you have a deep fryer, wings are always a hit at a Bills tailgate. Last year for the Pats night game we did a full thanksgiving feast with not only deep fried turkey but mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc. the works. You don't always have to be elaborate either, sometimes you just gotta find simple things that are delicious. At one game we cooked up some bacon and threw it on our cheeseburgers and had some really good rolls, stuff like that is cheap, easy, and perfect for a tailgate party.
  4. I just watched Tomcats tonight and thought it was hilarious
  5. I stayed up for the whole thing, that game was intense as they come. Playoff hockey, especially by the time your in the Stanley Cup finals is a grind. We all saw how hard it is to actually win a championship in hockey with those great Sabres teams we had a few seasons back. How bout that Pittsburgh player who took a puck to the face and had to have broke his nose and then came back out on the ice afterwards
  6. Found this thread while looking for something else, its a couple years old but I feel like resurrecting it from the grave by adding a couple Buffalo staples I was suprised to not see mentioned yet, Pearl St. Grill and Brewery- went to a ton of Sabres playoff games there during the 05-06 and 06-07 seasons and that place was insane, they sell those gigantic beer towers there and it would just be packed 4 stories deep with sabres fanatics. I think that bar offers the closet to an actual game experience you will find anywhere. Cozumel- only go there for their Cinco De Mayo patio party every summer, but it is always a great time I know it was mentioned earlier but Mickey Rats is another one of my favorite spots
  7. He's a practice squad player, thats about it
  8. Some of these movies are very mainstream, I mean I saw Tommy Boy listed earlier and thats a classic. Superbad? That was the blockbuster comedy of last summer. Then movies that might not be as well known such as Grandma's Boy but gets very high ratings from everybody that has seen it. I'm going with Beer League, barely anyone has seen this movie and its hilarious and written alot different than most cliche comedies, definately a great guy movie.
  9. R.I.P. Sir, A six pack in your honor today
  10. I went to a stag party that had buses on hand to drive people over to Lundy's Lane after the stag party for whoever wanted to go, I think that is the best way to go about it. This way you arn't offending anybody(father in laws, etc.), and everybody will probably have more fun at the strip clubs then by just having a couple overpriced strippers inside of a firehall or whatever.
  11. Ok so its gonna be Detroit v.s. Pittsburgh starts on Saturday...do you have any interest in this series? Will you be watching? Do you have a rooting interest? Any predictions?? I'll go first, although it still stings that the Sabres didn't get a chance to participate in the playoffs this year I still love playoff hockey and I think the Cup is the hardest trophy in professional sports to earn. I am actually really excited about this matchup because usually by the time the Finals rolls around you have already seen the best matchup in the conference games but I think for once the two top teams are actually competing for it all and both teams are stacked. Being as I'm a Sabres fan first and foremost I guess I don't really have a rooting interest in this one, but I know the Pens are definately gonna bring home multiple cups over the next few years with the young stars they have so I would like to see them suffer the pain before they experience the joy...as for predictions? I'm thinking this is going 7 games
  12. Beer is Good, Beer is Good...It's Good..........LETS GO DRINK SOME BEEEERRRRRRR
  13. I too will always remember that play with fond memories, we were at a bar that at the time was owned by someone in our family(it was filled with people in my family and friends of mine), and we had actually done alittle tailgating that day before we went inside, nothing major just sat outside in the parking lot with a cooler of beer and listened to the pregame show from my car radio. But anyways a bunch of us were sitting at a circular table right in front of a tv screen and after that play we all jumped up so enthustiastically that we flipped the table over and drinks went flying all over the place...sure we felt like jackasses after the fact but it was definately well worth it. I don't remember seeing anything that intense outside of at the Ralph since the Super Bowl years, but we all know how that game turned out, but like I said that will always be a precious memory of mine
  14. The movie Dazed & Confused
  15. We don't have any D+C fans on this board??
  16. The Red Wings scouting department blows my mind, I just found out this season that Datsyuk and Zetteberg were late round picks, and it looks like they found themselves another stud in Johan Franzen.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_2r9P2lEyw Its mandatory to participate in events like this as summer approaches...ok maybe not, but I do make sure I watch this movie every year as summer time begins, it makes you feel like its the last day of high school all over again
  18. I remember a few years back Bruce was doing an interview with somebody(might've been Best Damn Sports Show but I'm not sure) and they asked him about the accomplishment of getting the all-time sack record while he was with the Redskins and he talked about how great it was and all but then he paused for a moment and said but that will never compare to all those years and memories in Buffalo, so I think that'll speak for itself.
  19. Now that is exactly what I want out of a football player, in your playing days you should have that cocky and brash feeling that you are number 1, that is as long as you go out there and back it up, but once its all said and done you have the class to give credit to your teammates and coaches...congrats on a great career Bruce, well be seeing you on September 21
  20. I remember the Bills getting one against Denver in the early 90's, I remember Elway pleading with the refs to do something to settle the crowd down, those were the days
  21. I can't imagine too many die-hards even making the trip to Toronto, I know I want nothing to do with that game
  22. I don't know if its going to happen, I still gotta talk to my buddies but I've always wanted to go see a game at Arrowhead, we will see I guess.
  23. On my personal list I would like to add Cozumel on Cinco De Mayo...was there last night, great time
