There's been more and more of these posts popping up at this time of the year for the past few seasons now. Sad state of this franchise right now

I am so thankful right now that at least as a Chicago Bulls fan I have alittle something to look forward to as a sports fan this season because the Bills and even the Sabres are really bringing my spirits down this year. Not just because of this year but I think years and years and painful and frustrating sports disappoints has really started to catch up to me and take a toll on me this year. With that said the Bills and Sabres will always be teams. They always have been and always will be.

I've gotta give an honorable mention to Friday Night Lights in this thread

I love sports but BILLS football trumps everything for me. Only bigtime sport I don't follow is baseball.

Heading up to Toronto first thing in the morning. Not 100% sure but it sounds like were aiming to checkout "Real Sports Bar". At first it doesn't sound like my kinda place but I checked out the website and I am willing to give it a shot. The thing is I mapquested it and its only 6 minutes away from out hotel so I'm hoping for the best. Even though its not a traditional bar if it is rated that highly there's gotta be something good about it. I'll be spending next weekend in Toronto celebrating a good friend of mine's birthday and we will still be over there on Sunday. Its no problem because these guys like football and I know that theres at least one other guy going thats a diehard Bills fan too(and unfortunately one guy is a Cowboys fan) and we made it clear we are watching the game. Now its just a matter of finding a place to catch it, anybody know?

Without a doubt last night's episode was one of the best ones in awhile. It really was starting to feel like Matt and Trey had lost their touch for good but last night's episode had that vintage South Park feel to it. A woman should give blowjobs on football sundays

I was in Chicago last year during the weekend of the Bears-Patriots game with a buddy of mine so we ended up getting tickets to the game and of course I wore my Bills winter hat and after people realized it was not a Patriots hat they were more confused then anything lol. It was actually awesome, I had so many people asking me What brings a Bills fan from Buffalo down to Chicago for a Bears-Patriots game, a couple yells of Aaayyy Ayyyy Aayyyyy, and a couple people seemed to be in shock that Buffalo Bills fans do exist. I even felt like a mini-celebrity with all the attention I was getting. I would have a blast representing the Bills at random games but then I would be missing the Bills games so this is something that will probably never take off Haha...but it is fun for sure if you ever get the opportunity to go to a random game please do wear the red, white, and blue!!

On my my way home from work today I was listening to WGR and Thurman was on there and he was having a tough time and was choking up and crying and I even got alittle misty-eyed. This is very tough because it is the first loss in this Bills family, I even feel like I lost an extended family member

That was a great article. We were truly blessed having so many football character guys that understood the relationship between this team and the fans during the 90's. Kent Hull was a great player who led by his play on the field.

A work buddy of mine had an extra ticket to the Sabres game friday and offered it to me today. I'm pumped and its not only because I'm going to the game itself(which I def am excited for lol)but I'm just happy I finally got hooked up with a free ticket to a highly sought after Buffalo sporting event. As big of a sports fan as I am and I do have a pretty wide circle of friends I rarely,rarely get offered freebies and at the same time I constantly hear people talking about getting hooked up with tickets to a big game or getting club seats or whatever. I was shocked this happened to me for a change. I really wanted to go to this game but financially there was no way I could contend with the prices stubhub or scalpers would be looking for so I didn't even bother looking into it. Its a nice change of pace getting a ticket dumped in your lap. Figured this would make for a good topic discussion...how often do you guys come across free tickets to sporting events? Any good stories out there?

I had a beautiful view of that play live from my seats in section 124 and it was a great stick. Byrd has been tackling unbelievable this year.
