That actually does make a lot of sense now. I just can't see how Beane would bring in AB here if it were true. That tidbit had been bugging me all day

I always liked the show Boston Public. I think that would be cool to see in a modern take with the social media and technology era.

AB slept with Poyer's wife(I believe it was before they were married though). That was the most puzzling part of this whole thing to me. I can't see Beane and McDermott pulling the trigger on the trade for that reason alone with all of their talk about locker room culture and trying to build a family.

Although the Finale was always controversial(I don't know if that's the right word in this context) but Seinfeld was solid throughout it's entire run and never had a sharp decline in quality in it's later seasons.

I'm a Mittelstadt fan too. He was absolutely thrown into a very tough situation for his true rookie season in the NHL. The things I love hearing about Mitts is how high his compete level is, how bad he wants to be good in the NHL, how hard he works and practices off the ice. You can see flashes of his skill level here and there and over time once the speed of playing NHL level hockey "slows" down for him and his body grows from that of a kid into a man you will see his production take off. It helps he has a Center as talented as Jack to show him the ropes and mentor him. We just need to find him a competent winger to play alongside. I am hoping Tage can fill that role but I am not as convinced he will be a legit top 6 forward as I am with Casey yet.

Even though it's not showing up on the scoresheet I have seen Mittelstadt make alot of progess as the season has went on, and there's still a ton of room for growth in his game. I believe he is a legit NHL player. Dahlin will start cleaning up his mistakes as time goes on. Montour is a beast, I didn't know much about him when we made the trade but now I am absolutely loving it.

I agree that is still holds up today yet I still consider it a timepiece as well in the sense when you go back and watch it, it really captures the general feeling of how things were back in the 90s

I think it was already getting to that point before he appeared from what I remember but that certainly didn't help things. For the record, as a whole Married With Children is still one of my Top 5 Sitcoms of all time!

Married With Children really fell off the last couple seasons...just became way too "slap sticky" and gimmicky.

So he never ended up at New Era afterall? I remember that was the big rumor at the time

The food at that place absolutely sucks but that's what you would expect from a place like that...it's a fun place to grab some beers and watch a Sabres game once in awhile but if you are going out for a meal that place would be at the very bottom of my list of what Buffalo has to offer.

The Instigators show is very good. I wish we could get something comparable to that for the Bills.

It's one of those bittersweet things I guess. On one hand it's very depressing when you see how things are today but on the other hand I am extremely grateful I grew up when I did and that I have so many fun memories from childhood. I do feel bad for the kids of today's generation though.

There was nothing like growing up in the 90's...we played an insane amount of street hockey, football out in a field somewhere, riding bikes, building forts, and just getting into mischief in general....I mean sure we found some time for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis but it's not like today where kids live through their phones and tablets and gadgets etc.
