  1. Fixed Ive been saying for years the two guys that need to go on the Wall are Van Miller and Cornelius Bennett. In the Buffalo News article today about Van getting the nod he mentioned how he actually voted for Bennett to go up this year and that his time will be coming up very soon. Great stuff. Both men are long overdue
  2. Good bar. I always visit there whenever im in Cleveland. The bar im heading out to has a similar atmosphere Thats the fun part about going out with your friends for the draft. Once the Bills pick we still stay and hang out for awhile but then it becomes more about the drinking and having fun part than actually stressing who is going where. There are a couple displaced fans of other teams in our group too though so the **** talking lasts until those teams pick too.
  3. This is the most pumped up for the draft ive been in quite a few years. I'll be heading out to the local sports bar
  4. The first spring day where it was nice enough to play a round of golf I called in because I said I had some "personal business" I had to attend to.....boy did I sure feel like an a**hole when I walked into work the next day with a glaring sunburn whoops
  5. I get that im just saying its not the most convenient time for a big party day Then again im also getting old
  6. This is the one Buffalo party event I have never participated in(probably because in my prime partying years it wasn't that big then) but I would really like to check it out one of these years. The only problem is it does always seem to fall in the middle of a time where there's a lot going on(Easter, a lot of sports things going on, beginning of golf season, etc.) and its tough to justify using a vaca day at work for something like that. I'm thinking maybe next year i'll skip out on St. Paddy's Day and take In Dyngus Day instead. Like somebody mentioned above though if it gets too big, where it looks like its headed, it will lose its charm as all the dbags start coming out for it.
  7. I used to enjoy watching old games from the glory years but even that has started to become tough for me because its just going on so long now that the Bills have been irrelevant that you can only stomach watching games from over 20 years ago now for so long. And the fact that we just keep getting further and further away from those days also makes it tougher to watch nowadays. But if I go to a game then I usually dvr it and watch it later in the week whenever I have time because when your at the game and your partying you do miss so many things
  8. That's awesome, I wish I could've made it there myself but I've just had way too busy of a schedule lately unfortunately. Sounds like the event did justice for the incredible life Ralph lived.
  9. "This is a tough time but Buffalo is a tough town and they will get through this"- Bill Polian on ESPN today
  10. RIP Ralph. I feel privileged to have been there in Canton to see you inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. Thank You for bringing this region its most prized possession
  11. Unfortunately nothing this year For the remainder of tax season I am helping out an accountant buddy of mine who is shorthanded at his office right. Between my regular job and this I have been very busy the last month and a half and will be until the middle of April. The extra income is nice but I haven't been able to keep up with sports nearly as much as I would like to lol so this year I probably won't be paying too much attention and it looks like Cuse doesn't have the mental toughness to pull it off anyway so I'm not as upset now. On the plus side somehow between both jobs I was lucky enough to pull having the day off today so I am about to be heading out soon to get my Irish on Enjoy your party Gordio it sounds awesome!
  12. Over the years between numerous tailgate parties, St. Patricks Day celebrations, Vegas trips, golf outings and nights out partying that turned into early mornings I would say I have probably drank at all hours of the day some point or another in my life
  13. I love those Bills teams as much as anybody but the truth is they weren't even close in 3 out of those 4 Super Bowls so I'm having a hard time taking this topic seriously
  14. Maybe they wern't statistically the #1 v.s. #1 but the Pats-Giants Super Bowl from just a few years ago was pretty much the same scenario Best offense v.s. Best defense and the final score was 17-14 and then again when they played each other a couple years after that it was 21-17. Alot of the pro Denver people are really selling Seattle's defense short
  15. Rooting for Seattle I think they will win but I admit its going to be close and its def not a gimmie Debating whether or not to lay a bet down on the game, already decided not touching the over/under in this one
  16. Quote off an article from bleacherreport; i tried posting the link but received a message stating the administrator does not allow links to that website. But the main article was more about the Seahawks however this was a good exercpt: ""The last Super Bowl team that was actually fun and interesting during the week was Buffalo in the 1990s. No team partied like the Bills. I'd see half the team out on the town every night. I'd be leaving some place, and the Bills would still be in the joint, closing it down, young women on each arm. They were lively quotes all week, loose and fun" I wanna say the 96 Packers team was pretty wild too if I remember correctly, that year the Super Bowl was played in New Orleans and I remember seeing clips of Brett Favre out partying on Bourbon St. that week but yeah nowadays teams are pretty lame. The Patriots had absolutely no excitement factor any of the times they made it to the Big Show
  17. I like the Schwartz signing but your reaching for the stars with the Belicheck comparison
  18. I hope he also kicked him in the nuts before he gave him his walking papers
  19. In my post I was referring to John in Jax as he was refusing to give this kid any credit, saying that he's only good because he's 6'3, and how hard is it to just run down the field with another guy, blah, blah, blah Okayyyy buddy
  20. For those of you who refuse to give Sherman any respect for his work ethic and think he is just having success off of natural ability PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch this video and then tell me what you think. If you don't change your mind after this, then you have no credibility as a football fan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbQGlO0B5nY#t=6m54s
  21. But you know what, watching a team as talented and powerful as the 49ers fail to get back to a consecutive Super Bowl really reinforces just what an amazing accomplishment it was for the Bills to go back 4 years in a row regardless of the SB outcomes IMO
